  1. The speargun class (Javlok) could be the solution. Gun mode for all-purpose use, with unique alt-fire mechanics that give it some cool pseudo-melee spear functionality. You could have a rush attack that impales enemies on your spear, an 'auto-fire' flurry of stabs when held down, etc. Such a pity Javlok throw has self-damage.

Other than that, having a new spear-like stance for Polearms and more spear-looking polearms like the Sydon would be great. Stance polarities could be used to 'unofficially' differentiate between spears and polearms since I don't think it really warrants its own weapon category. Sure if somebody plopped the spear stance on the Serro it'd look stupid but that weapon is really crazy looking anyway.

  2. Honestly it has to be Banshee at this point. Nova Prime skipped over a lot of older frames (Banshee included), and Valkyr skipped over Banshee again. Main reason they probably skipped both times was because of the holiday season and trying to get higher sales. There's absolutely no way Mesa/Mirage are getting primed next, and Zephyr has a deluxe skin in the works so it's extremely unlikely she's going to be it either.

  3. Atlas is to Landslide as Mesa is to Peacemaker. They're pretty much only known for those abilities, and really only used for those, and that's fine since you can make it work in a lot of different situations. All Atlas may have is Landslide, but he feels like such a badass using it. Without a doubt the most fun frame to level in the game because of that. Meanwhile Oberon just feels plain boring to use outside of his ultimate, and his ultimate is ridiculously basic. Hydroid is just a mess, what is he? A water frame? A pirate frame? A nightmare for Japanese schoolgirls?

For Atlas though, I do agree that his Petrify should be less... useless and the PvP augment should also be a thing for PvE. Just let Atlas 'equip' the titanic Rumbler using the context action and boom, you're Stone Age Iron Man. Stone man.

  4. I paid for it, and it doesn't bother me if others can get it for free. I don't see why people get all weird about that happening. It just feels like they want to lord something over others.

Well, I'd be kind of peeved if I paid for something that others could get for free. And at the time of purchase paying was the only way to acquire it. Completely unrelated to the people who get all butthurt over things like the re-release of the Misa Prime Syandana; who do actually just want to feel like special snowflakes.

If they split up Hunhow's Gift and made it possible to buy the armor separately I wouldn't be annoyed since you're still paying for it; just without the extra stuff.

  5. The only time having a billion damage would be bad is vs bosses. It would just be to easy lol. Besides that I agree

Except for the fact that practically every boss besides ones that haven't been updated has multiple phases so you can't one-shot the whole thing. Or they have damage caps that favor fire-rate over heavy damage (Juggernaut, Nullifier bubble).

Snipers are so disadvantaged they really should have at least the upside of excessive firepower. The Tonkor feels like a better sniper than sniper rifles, especially with the cheesy Zephyr build.

  6. naramon is good and it allows frames without invincibility to survive using melee (finally volt speed build is less of a jimmic) but if you want to make any use out of it you're going to have to stay in melee for the whole mission so that hardly makes it the best just for that

Uhh, you can crit without equipping melee you know, and if you're using something like the Prisma Dual Cleavers all it takes is a quick copter to go invisible. Very handy utility if you ask me, especially with Deadly Intent (increased crit chance on melees) as well.

  7. I was expecting that you could only get each reward from the pool only once, seeing as there's only 15 days in a season and more than 15 rewards, you'd have a slight bit of RNG involved that you could diminish with diligence.

If the rewards worked like that, I'd definitely try and do every single Sortie. The way they are now though, I don't want to get a 200k blueprint or parts for weapons I already have.

  8. Yes, the lenses focus xp earned from kills to xp toward the school you pick, so yes a weapon is the best choice.

A killing frame is the best choice, as 100% of the affinity is given to the Warframe if it kills with a power.

If a weapon kills the frame, half goes to the weapon and half goes to the Warframe.

I don't know exactly how lenses work, but if you have it on your weapon and your Warframe, I would assume killing with the weapon would give you the same amount of exp as if you killed with the Warframe since it's half-and-half. If you only have the lens on the weapon, you're going to be getting half as much exp because it earns half as much affinity.
