  1. Off topic: try pinning someone to a door and opening it. they spazz out. it's easily one of the best reasons to own a Bolt weapon

Yeah I know, used to do that all the time then make the little grineer dance by running around near the door :)

One thing they might try is having the shots spawn at the rear of the weapon, still inside and not visible until they exit the gun, but far enough back that it's less of a problem.

  2. Imagine my surprise when a corpus crewman ran up to me and started swinging, and as I raised my pistols and fired, repeatedly, the shots didn't hit him at all but went straight through as though he didn't exist!

Bearing in mind that this is on an unmodded akbolto so this isn't some puncture mod hiccup or anything, and definitely not an accuracy issue. I believe that the point that the shots firing from in the gun at the end of the tenno's outstretchet arm simply originate so far from the user that they are firing out the other side of the enemy at that distance.

Not really sure what would be a good fix for this without having the bullets fly out of the warframe's chest to begin with (which just wouldn't look good), but there it is. Not had this problem with other pistol weapons so maybe the bolto/akbolto's long barrel is to blame?

  3. Just as it sounds, after playing in online mode for one mission, when I select the next mission the button is not available to me, forcing me to wait until I'm connected with some random online people who may never come or play solo.

I've been having this problem quite a lot recently and have been using the "Private" game mode as an alternative, so people I know can still join me mid-mission if they like, however now even in that game mode once I select a mission in the above circumstances it says "looking for a squad".

Not really sure what to do about this, currently relying on restarting the game whenever it comes up.

  4. Not really sure if this should go under mission or UI bugs, I'll put it here for now.

When playing the infested sabotage mission at Lares everything was going fine and I was in fact loving the new rooms and pipe tunnels recently put in, but as soon as I completed my objective, destroying the last piece of mining machinery, my waypoints ceased to guide me and instead marked a point far off my minimap, unchanging as I went room to room.

Eventually I found my way aorund to it and from there on the waypoints resumed working, but until then I had to stumble my way through the level and navigate largely on guesswork, though thankfully the maps aren't too non-linear at the moment. Not really sure what happened but it's like the waypoints simply didn't acknowledge there was anything to navigate between my location and where it was pointing to go next.

  5. But aklato = 2lato and when carrying datapacks, you use one. I know lato and aklato are not the same in game code but they should be compatible. It would make sense. Dual skanas are not the same - they are shorter blades than a regular skana. But, yeah, nit-picky, I know. I'd just like more common-sense-compatible features in my space-ninja-in-space game. :P

edit: Looks like the devs are fixing the vandal mods issue. Thank you!

Yes indeed, thanks devs. And I do hope the single/dual incompatibilities will change in the future so that Lato mods will work on AkLato and etc.

  6. I know I have some Braton-specific mods in my inventory but they don't show up on the upgrade page for this gun. Hope the devs fix that, but otherwise looking forward to using this gun.

  7. The 20,000 credits isnt for the gun itself. It can only be purchased with platinum, but the BLUEPRINT can be purchased for 20,000.

You've bought the blueprint so now you must gather the materials to craft it within the Foundry.

Ah, stupid me, I need to wake up more and stop being delusional. Was sure I bought the gun and not a BP.

For the material drop rate it needs to be high for them, lets face it if you could get all that you need in less then a day then why would you ever need to spend money in this game. With the new inventory system a lot of people are saying that they are missing a few slots, this might be true but I still have all mine you just need to click the numbers not next (next skips by 10 slots).

You're actually right, found my slots still there but the next button was only making the last show up, crazy. It should show next 8 since only 8 slots show at a time, just a minor dev oversight when they changed the buttons. Also, even though I have 12 slots the next button would take me to a page where only one slot was showing, next 11? Crazy.

  8. Just saw the Kraken in shop and thought "ooh, I'd like to try that out". So I paid the 20,000 or so credits to purchase it but lo and behold, when I went to my inventory/switch weapons screen it didn't show up as being bought, instead showing as being available to be bought only for 120 platinum.

On top of that when I went to my inventory screen and looked at the second page in my weapons list, I found I had only one slot available and it was empty, not the four slots (and had had for quite some time) I had paid for and no Kraken pistol.

Unrelated but still important, just finished a sabotage mission at Cambria in the Earth sector and was annoyed to find that even though I busted open 30-ish containers and killed quite a few waves of enemies, I only received a single material drop of 20 rubedo in the whole mission, which is just crap, especially considering how many different things rubedo is needed to make in the foundry. Whether that's a bug or an adjustment made by the developers I don't know, but I hope the number of material drops and their amount changes or gets fixed.

    So:

    - gun bought but not obtained, and the real price a total questionmark at this point.

    - inventory missing slots paid for and obtained some time ago

    - material drops being totally crap

  9. For obvious reasons this really only presents a problem with bosses and heavies, the health bar's contents are too hard to see. When they have shields it's fine, nice and bright blue against a dark background, easy to make out, but as soon as the shields are gone I have absolutely no idea where the end of that VERY DARK RED health meter is. Have I barely hurt them? Are they almost dead? I have no idea!

I would suggest either simply making the colour brighter or alternatively just adding a small bright line (maybe glowing or pulsing) at the very end of the current amount of health they still have, moving with the end of the health bar so it's possible to guage remaining hit points of your enemy at a glance, without squinting at the screen and distracting from staying alive.

  10. the warframes should switch the weapon so instead of being in the right hand it goes in the left hand so I will also be able to shoot from the left side.

I have to agree with this. Almost no point switching camera side if I can't shoot what I can see, instead just shooting the corner in front of me because the firing angle doesn't change.

  11. Indeed, hopefully the dual versions of weapons will stick to being better versions of those already-existing strengths. Range on the DHS is 1.0 without upgrading, though not sure if that's a certain measurement such as a metre or just a percentage of the base weapon length.

  12. Just built my own dual heat swords and was actually surpised at how slow they are. After playing around a bit I realised as you did that they are made for powerful charge attacks, but that's not the impression I got from the description at all when I bought the blueprint.

"With a heat sword in each hand, enemies reach their fiery demise twice as fast"

I took that to mean "extra sword, extra attack speed" but obviously that was wrong, and it boggles my mind why in the great green googleplex the developers would make a dual weapon so unlike it's singular form. Though the latter may remain unchanged, perhaps they could fix the description to be less misleading, and maybe make the weapon stats visible in the market so people can see what they're getting before purchases are made.

  13. On the infestation sabotage mission at Oro in the Earth region (love the new asteroid base tileset btw) I explored, poked around, found one of my objectives and destroyed it, then went on to find my other objective.

This is where the problem became apparent.

    http://i.imgur.com/iSzhlIa.jpg

I found myself in a room downstairs near a sort of tram rail with objective markers pointing towards this elevator (see linked image, glowing green button on the right). Unfortunately the console for said elevator was completely unresponsive and despite extensive exploration (and even trying to find a hole in the shaft to fall down through) I couldn't find any other path down the objective area, forcing me to abandon the mission.

All throughout the misson I didn't encounter a single enemy, and although I could see some platforms with ziplines near where the cargo monorail disappeared into the rock wall I could find no way to reach them, though I did try to jump on to the moving containers, which doesn't seem possible (that sheet of metal positioned as a ramp is pretty misleading).. .

  14. Technically it is still a shotgun, even if you can use it with one hand, and should use the shotgun upgrade tree. And technically it only has two barrels and no clip. Technicality is a spiteful old hag.

Actually it does have that big disc-shaped drum on it, which I always assumed was the clip and it was just always firing out of all barrels at once.

  15. I think you should at least be able to trade crafting components if nothing else, since they just build up in your inventory and do nothing if you don't use them, so being able to give them away to someone who needs them more or simply sell them for credits would be good.

As for blueprints it's a tricky issue since we don't want to make it way too easy to aquire everything you want right away, but we would like to find what we're after some time reasonably soon and be able to put the excess to use. Perhaps the DEVs can introduce a sort of "seeking" component to the game, where you can mark in your forge what you need the most and that thing becomes more likely to drop than some other irrelevant/duplicate thing?

Perhaps for cases of picking up duplicate blueprints those new blueprints could instead be converted into a component for building that or another item, so as to be actually useful, or automatically sold for some extra cash. Though I think it would be simpler just to have those things you already have not drop at all unless someone else you're playing with doesn't have it yet.

  16. During a mission I had a few health kits in my inventory, visible and accessible. I got hammered pretty hard and knocked down, then revived by a friend, but after that all my equipped inventory had vanished without a trace.

  17. I bought and used a few orokin catalysts to unlock the full potential of some of my weapons, but after I use them all up there is still one showing in my inventory, not actually sure if this IS a UI bug because when I try to upgrade another weapon with a catalyst (that I really don't have) it doesn't just feed me the message "orokin catalyst required" but tries to upgrade it, fails, and tells me that my account has not been charged and to try again later.

  18. The small health kits claim to heal half of your health, but they only restore 50. Could be this is just an incorrect description or they are comparing to the default base value of 100 when they are activated, either way it needs to be looked at.

I assume the large health kits will therefore only restore 100, will be testing this out soon.

Confirmed that the large health kits only restore 100 health.
