  1. Hi [DE]Megan, (or; whoever managing\reading this thread :P) and fellow Tenno.

This doesn't seem to be on the list yet, so I'll report it here.

For the players who have been getting constant crashing while playing ODA especially, the issue seems to be linked with the Kubrows, likely due to path finding or targeting bug, as it seems to happen during fights.

I've done several rounds of ODA with "Firebyte77" and "crazyboomer", only one of us with a Kubrow equipped, and it was very hard to finish a match with one by our side without a crash\the game freezing. As soon as we unequipped the Kubrow, we did 4 rounds in a row without a single problem.

We've also tried with and without hit-scan and projectile weapons, but those seem all "safe".

So until a new update lands you guys might wanna leave your pets at home.

This is related to Version 14.0.9.

I'm posting here simply because that's where the Issue Megathread!! is currently linking me to.

And yes, this was after the attack subsided, and the servers were again running well.

    Edit: Spelling mistakes.

  2. Selling "Rare 5 Cores" while the stock lasts. :P

    1p = 1Core

    Min, trades is 3 (3x3).

Just reply here, or even better, PM-me with the key message "R5Forum-Trade" in-game, to check if I still have trades available if interested.

Will keep this thread up and running until I run out of stock.

  3. When on the FOUNDRY menu, if you attempt to add weapons when the inventory is filled, the game will simply ask you to expand it with Platinum.

However, if you do so, fill the inventory with weapons you had in line, without leaving that menu, and try to add more weapons, the game will simply tell you that you got no more space, instead of allowing you to further increase the inventory space through Platinum.

During Interception games, if the host leaves, the "A", "B", ">C<", "D" little interface next to the mini-map disappears.

Alt+F4'ing games that happen to get stuck in loading, or when quick-joining and appearing falling in the middle of nowhere, between other possible problems, add to the "Quit Game" counter. Which has been going up like crazy ever since U14 came out with all the unexpected problems.

Giving the player a 30 to 60 sec window to "leave" on joining, would greatly alleviate the problem.

Alad V seems to be a bit too strong perhaps right now? (Last try he was Lv63 if memory serves me right.)

Unloading every single bullet a very good Soma had was nearly not enough to kill him, and I'm just accounting for myself, there were 3 other random Tenno with me.

We're almost required to use Penta or similar, more ammo efficient weapons to be able to take him down. (Or have specific Frames, like Nova)

Keep up the good work bringing the game back to shape DE. :)

  4. When playing Derelict at least, if another player (other than the host) uses a key to start the game, that user will NOT lose a key after the match is done, and the host won't be able to see that key in his star map anymore.

  5. Another funny bug.

My "Missions Quit" is going up. It's at 5 now, and it was 0 before the update, I'm sure of that much (and I didn't quit any missions since).

Why such information is being kept in the first place? No idea, and wish I could deactivate the tracking of this and other things. But that's beyond the point. I'd just like it to go back to 0, and not go up to keep my OCD in check.

Maybe it's caused by the "Quit Game" from the ship.

Or the "Logout" option (Profile > Logout), that's taking me to a black screen with ~999fps

  6. Kubrow's pretty much 1shot any sentinel now. Which is silly, as they're so short and the Sentinel is so high up.

They shouldn't even be able to hit them.

Stomp killing (so, they're dieing *very* far) Volatile Runners, seems to be making them detonate and hit the Sentinel, even tho my own Shield is not going down.

There is definitely something wrong with the Sentinels, maybe their hit-box is insanely huge or something.

For reference, I've been using the Carrier for these "tests".

  7. I can provide a bit more of information about the messages. This is what happens to me at least.

While trying to acquire the Egg, upon reaching the Liset, I'd always get the message to go find the Egg from Lotus, and when done (hearing the mentioned message), I'd also get messages from Lotus and Ordis, like if I already had one.

Now that I finally managed to get an Egg, and place it in the incubator, it's giving me me the "already hatched" messages from Ordis.

Seems like the pointers to which messages to use\play are 1 step higher than they should.

  8. When on the Ship, by pressing Escape, the bottom option is "Quit Game", which should only be visible during missions, instead of "Logout".

And "Logout" is under "Profile" instead of being available at the main menu when on the Ship.

There are new locations in the different planets, apparently, but I'm not being able to tell which ones I'm still missing exactly, as I cannot spot any more blocks with static, and there doesn't seem to be any other easy way to tell.

  9. Having a 15', 1920x1080 laptop, I'm forced to stick to 1280x720 to keep a playable framerate (varies from 40 to 90fps).

And note that going fullscreen is not an option, as the game just crashes after a few minutes (happens in both 32bit and 64bit modes).

Maximizing the window is also not an option, as it scales the game to a resolution close to 1920x1080, slowing down the game to a crawl.

With that background information in mind, it's now EXTREMELLY hard to read the mod description.

Same goes for stuff like component requirements, the black text on white background doesn't work very well, but here the problem is not as bad.

This was not a problem before the UI changes.

  10. Dark sectors are becoming a PvP thing it seems and will feature an 8v8 battleground takin place in what looks like a clan dojo. I'm not sure if the non-conflict missions are being changed however.

Oh what a shame for us totally non-PvP people... One less interesting mode to play.

  11. Hello, fellow tenno and devs.

I remember hearing a bit about PvP related to the dark sectors in the last stream. Are there going to be rewards only awarded to people who join or enjoy that mode? And if there are, is there going to be a chance for people who totally dislike any form of PvP to acquire them in other way than trading?

I've noticed the new U14 update really is very neat looking.

However the shop \ foundry looked very bright \ white in the bit shown, which usually leads to making our vision tired a whole lot faster.

While I don't expect to do a ton of shopping or crafting in a row during the night, or after long sessions of game play, are there maybe going to be options for "low light mode", or "improved reading" (white text on black menus) for the menus?

And finally, for us laptop gamers, are there any plans to maybe allow us lock the menu\ship to 30fps, in order to allow the system to cool a bit in between missions if we chose to?
