Arguing against an OPTION that people can choose to use or not just because said option is not something you would use personally is pretty silly. It would be different if everyone was forced to pick up each individual item now and the proposal was to add in vacuum, but that's not really the case here... Vacuum already exists, just forcing people who wish to use it into a single companion choice with no alternative.

    I think it would be really cool for more vacuum options.  I (like many others apparently) would really enjoy using other companions, but I personally find the lack of vacuum to be inefficient. Several vacuum exilus variants would for sure help (maybe even solve) the problem. Personally, I would gladly give up that mod slot for vacuum, and any situation where I found myself needing it, I would throw on the sentinel instead. More options are always better!

    With that said, I wouldn't be opposed to universal vacuum either, as long as sentinels receive something else useful in its place.

    5. You are right, it is in fact "basic". It's also terrible for trading when there are 500 ppl posting at the same time. No way to filter out spam, no way to sort by what you want to see, no way to search for something specific, and no way to bookmark/pin something you want to compare later. Just read endless lines of text until you find the 1 thing you want or your eyes bleed.

    6. What's wrong with cosmetic options? I find it hard to believe that you would prefer p2w over cosmetic MTX. I suppose it's possible that you do, but on average it seems the gaming community despises p2w.

  4. Nerfing power damage/efficiency isn't going to solve anything, it's just going to ruin it for players that aren't abusing the VERY FEW MAPS that are small enough for a single player to run around and clear using a single aoe spell.

     

    A real solution would be:

    1. Fix the smaller interception maps that can be afked with a few warframe abilities.

    2. Add more obstacles in defense maps to prevent players from spamming aoe spells to kill enemies before they get in range.

    3. Remove the ability for any power to hit through walls because that would defeat the point of obstacles and it's a pretty silly concept to begin with.

    4. Implement some way for stuck monsters to "time out" and despawn because now that we can no longer hit through walls this will cause problems.

    5. Make more defense objectives move around every now and then (like on ceres) to prevent afking.

     

     

    Oh and P.S.

    @Devs

    Remove the stupid damage that bypasses shield. Seriously, why can't I play my frame pure shield? We already have 0 armor... why do you hate us?

  5. I'm still trying to figure out where you people are getting the "dealing massive amounts of damage" bit that you keep throwing around. Far as I know, nobody's expecting to, or has said anything implying that they expect to do as much.

     

    Unless, of course, you are the ones who don't consider something as useable if it isn't one-shotting everything an hour into T3S.

    I was basically questioning the OP as the main complaint was that the damage is lower (even though I personally feel using melee channel it's actually higher)

  6. Actually, it was intended for Valkyr to be a berserker (as her bundle shows.)

     

    But let's be honest here. She's an odd warframe, a very odd one.

    Fair enough, but with that in mind... Banshee pack is called Dead Silence yet 3/4 of her abilities imply the use of loud noises (Sonar, Sonic Boom, Sound Quake) lol.

     

     

    Also I wanted to add that, I just recently got Life Strike, and I have had rage for a while now... O...M...G it's actually really fun. I know a lot of people still question the usefulness of melee in general compared to a gun but man is it fun, and those 2 things together synergize extremely well with the fact that Valkyr is a high armor-practically pure heath warframe so you literally regen energy and spam melee channeled attacks for nice life steal/damage.

  7. All I want to know is why her attacks cost stamina in Hysteria now... and why it feels like attacks made in Hysteria no longer hit multiple targets.

     

    IMO Hysteria damage has never been omg status, but the advantage is that you can attack 5 time a second for FREE + Immune from damage/cc + Being able to sprint/attack at the same time (with the floating ability). Now you attack so fast your stamina instantly depletes and you can no longer sprint.

     

     

    P.S.

    I don't get where people keep getting off on the whole "this warframe doesn't fit x role" I don't think a single warframe description labels said warframe as "tank/berserker/mage/healer/ect..." Just because the wiki compares the frame to a common role in video games to give the end user an idea of what he/she is getting into does not mean the developers are bound to said role.

     

    However with that said, if you think being 100% invulnerable all the while doing massive amounts of damage is something that the developers intended for any warframe in this game, then I have to question your common sense. Yes the normal damage output is lower than before, but don't forget you can melee channel for extra damage. Again, yes Hysteria damage output is lower than before, but don't forget that you are completely immune to all damage/crowd control. And please do not compare the usefulness of her invulnerability to Trinity being able to make an entire team invulnerable because as far as I understand, they are trying to balance her as well....

     

    I am all for the asking for answers on this Valkyr topic since none of these changes were in the patch notes, but it's seriously annoying when people use something in a game that they know is imbalanced (trinity/loki/valkyr) and then post "I'm quitting" threats on the forum when it gets fixed.

  8. Update: Just attempted to remedy the stamina issue using "Second Wind". It appears second wind does not regenerate stamina unless you are melee channeling which is not even remotely implied on the description of the mod (+5 stamina on melee kill) However with that said, it doesn't work in Hysteria anyway (even while melee channeling).

     

     

    i noticed that it did have the channeling capabilities, but damage output didnt seem to differ much.

     

    Just tested this a bit and I feel like it increases damage quite a bit. My damage numbers were quite random while testing for some reason however. I feel like my max hit without channeling was about 3k and while channeling was getting upwards of 6k.

  9. With the addition of melee 2.0 it appears melee attacks in Hysteria are able to use the melee channeling system (only if you are in melee mode before you activate the ability). I am not sure if it actually impacts the damage or not yet (still testing) but it does drain energy so I assume it does something. While this is interesting and may or may not be intentional, what I am convinced is either unintentional, or a really annoying nerf is that melee attacks in Hysteria also consume stamina now, for an ultimate that completely limits you to melee ONLY (and makes you attack extremely fast) the stamina bar disappears instantly and prevents you from sprinting, being that you are melee only you can see how this is frustrating.

     

    Also still testing the range of melee attacks in Hysteria, it feels smaller than usual. (and I have been playing a lot of Valkyr the past few days since I just recently unlocked her!)

     

     

    P.S.

    If Melee channel is suppose to work in Hysteria, I think when you activate it, should force your character into (melee mode) since atm if you are using a gun and then use Hysteria you will not be able to use melee channeling.
