Tickets being available on Eventbrite wasn't a leak or "insider" info. It was literally mentioned in the first paragraph under BUY TICKETS NOW on the official TennoCon ticket page.

I'm experiencing the same problem too. Can't stay in a pre-made squad, doesn't matter if I'm invited or if I'm hosting.

 

Interestingly didn't have this issue when I was playing on my old com running Win7, only started after I switch to a new com running Win10, correlation may not imply causation though.

 

In-game network analysis says everything's fine, firewall is configured to allow Warframe, ping limit set high, doesn't solve problem.
