As typical with AC/DC, the guitar is 100% pentatonic.  However, the Mandachord's range makes it impossible to fit accurately.  This is the closest I can get, but you have to give up on the high and low notes being correct.

Girls Got Rhythm (AC/DC): Mandachord (Original)

Oops, I forgot to mention that I didn't care about the lyrics, just the guitar/bass parts. I'm fine with the highs and lows being repeated though. Thanks for the good effort, I should be able to figure out the rest.

  2. Octavia needs more than 6 song slots, I already filled them up with songs from your previous requests.

Here's my request: River City Ransom's main theme, ideally starting from the 23-second mark, but I'll leave it up to you if that section isn't a good fit for the mandachord. Thanks in advance!

Edit: Here's another version that might be easier to work with.

  3. I'm starting to think that there's something in the game scripts that's broken now that I've finished the quest... Good thing I have a PC. :P

59.720 Sys [Error]: Could not use object: /Lotus/Fx/Levels/TheWarWithin/LisetAirIntakeMainSpawnConstant (broken)

  4. From what I can tell, it seems to be some sort of script error that causes one thread to block all the others. This is what I see at the end of the logs:

err:ntdll:RtlpWaitForCriticalSection section 0x110060 "heap.c: main process heap section" wait timed out in thread 007c, blocked by 007b, retrying (60 sec)

  5. I see I'm not alone in being boned by the 18.5.5/18.5.5.1 patches. The splash screen crash did get me to finally upgrade my wine installation from 1.7.29 to 1.9.5, but that hasn't done me any good. I'm glad I only tried re-using my existing wine prefix (from 1.7.27!) instead of doing a full re-install, as that's a huge chore. Fingers crossed for a hotfix that resolves this before the Thousand Cuts tactical alert ends...

  6. ok i need help i played warframe for the last 2 days on my Linux (zorin) and now i get a white screen on launcher start up and a button that says retry what do i do to fix this?

That means a new launcher executable was downloaded, but for some reason or other the launcher was unable to swap in the new executable. Happens to me for every update that affects the launcher. I don't remember off the top of my head where everything's located, but manually replacing the executables works for me.

  7. Stance mods load in as un-ranked (e.g. Broken Bull combo is locked on Cleaving Whirlwind).

    - Does not happen on the first PvP match, but seems to happen on subsequent matches in a given session

    - Affected loadout is selected at the pre-match screen; different from the last edited loadout in the Arsenal

  8. Since U15.5 hit my chat stopped working, and this showed up in the logs:

    31.283 Net [info]: Name lookup: irc.warframe.com 192.184.14.42

    31.306 Net [Error]: [sSL] error:00000000:lib(0):func(0):reason(0)

31.306 Net [Error]: IRC SSL connection failed.

31.314 Net [info]: IRC out: QUIT :Logged out of game

I can still play, and everything else works as it did prior to the update, so I was wondering if anyone else was having this problem. (wine 1.7.29, OS X 10.9.5)

  9. Feedback on the design:

Looks good, but the base purple is a little bland by itself. (The PERFECT shade though)

If you look at Lotus's transmission images, you will notice she has quite a bit of subtle gold and some finer details. If you replace most of the visible working parts in your customisation with a goldish colour, with a couple light trims, it would go a long way to contrasting the purple and making it stand out more.

Another thing you could do to really make it stand out would be to texture the edges of the panels with Orokin-filigree patterns in a light grey or white.

Thanks for the feedback! Due to some technical limitations I couldn't go for anything too fancy, and I wasn't able to find a good gold color. I could probably do a two-tone base where the tail end is wrapped in a different color, but I might not have enough remaining layers to pull it off (I made a Borderlands-themed car in a similar fashion).

On an slightly unrelated note, I'm surprised nobody has gotten the bumper sticker pun.

  10. I'm surprised by how many people are running the game with wine. Hopefully one of you wine experts can help me out with a couple problems I've been having (I'm running wine 1.7.26 on a late 2013 MBP - Mavericks 10.9.4):

#1: Certain tilesets tend to get the game into a state where it can't allocate memory properly, resulting in one of two things, either a crash, or this (followed by a crash if I stay in-game too long): http://imgur.com/bxDJxO1

This used to be a minor annoyance confined to Ceres, but has become a real thorn in my side with the Gate Crash event (more like Game Crash event huehuehue).

#2: After one such crash, my launcher has gotten stuck on the 'checking for updates' stage. Normally this goes away after a reboot and some time, but even after a fresh re-install of the game the launcher refuses to cooperate. Since I had it working earlier in the day, I'm not sure what may have changed.

Any help would be much appreciated!

Edit: I updated to 1.7.27, and double checked winecfg, seems I set the Windows version to 7 instead of XP, and that broke things. D'oh!

  11. Radial Blind as it is works, adding LoS detection and whatnot will leave it prone to transient bugs. I mean, this is a blinding light that blinds for a long duration, how about a reduced duration if enemies aren't in LoS, OR (not and, OR, don't want to make the same mistake as with the launcher ammo pools here, pick one OR the other, NOT BOTH) add some sort of punch-through effect that reduces the blind range through walls. Remember, EITHER reduced duration OR limited punch-through, but NOT BOTH if using the LoS approach.

That said, the other abilities need some work:

Slash Dash - it's SLASH dash. How about a forced bleed proc?

Super Jump - haven't used it personally, but it seems to be a lot clunkier than Tail Wind

Radial Javelin - give this some punch-through

  12. Why does Radial Blind have to be blocked by cover if the other radial and blind skills can go through walls? I'd understand walls reducing the range of the blind. Or just apply the same change to Mirage and get more players to complain about it.

I don't usually visit the forums, but this nerf really rustles my jimmies.
