  1. This bug has technically been a thing since Season 2 of Nightwave. To be specific the last event of said season.

There we got introduced to the juicy large HP bar atop our screens, showcasing the tiniest changes to boss mob HP in full detail and glory.

A few parts of the existing UI got overlooked however. Inside the game UI options we have access to a preference of showing enemy HP bars at the top of our screens instead affixed/hovering atop their heads/hitboxes.

Personally I keep this option enabled for a bit less clutter to deal with when looking at a pack of mobs. This however gets completely backwards because new boss HP bar overlays any other game elements, thus making some elements of UI unreadable.

    But.

The story does not end there because this also applied to the brand spanking new Kuva Liches and their Murmur progress bar. That too gets unreadable whenever a Lich spawns in and Thralls are being taken care of.

Included below is a clear example of this. I am looking at a butcher and his HP bar is completely unreadable.

As a fix i think offsetting mob HP bars and Murmur UI to be below the Boss HP bar would be awesome.

    Thanks in advance.

  2. Hi, representing a small Shadow clan that did not manage to get into the previous contest here. This time we came prepared!

    • Clan Name: Tenno inc
    • Clan Tier: Shadow
    • Platform: PC
    • Clan Rank: R10
    • Role in clan: Warlord

About 90% of all decorating has been done by me and recently I got a helping hand with it from an awesome clanmate.

So, what does our dojo offer? A lot of awesome!

We have 100% reachable design, no areas are cut off and are accessible by walking or parkouring as a Warframe.

Prepared for this event we have a full imgur album with the dojo map and some comments for the rooms here: https://imgur.com/a/HDjkuyx

Feature Image, this is one of our largest projects: iO9ViEW.png

  3. Currently none of the Moa/Kitgun/K-drive show up in the profile under the equipment tab making it impossible to know what part of the new modular items determines gained mastery.

For example some say that it is the board on K-drive that determines mastery gain while others say it's reactor.

Same can be said of the codex.

  4. While building up the dojo i have encountered some clipping issues with the new Inspiration Hall.

1st issue is when the Hall has adjacent Reactors to it, The reactors clip through the window panes as well as "erase" the skybox of the Inspirational Hall.

Considering that it makes sense to have reactors connected to the hall (amount of exits per hall allows using fewer rooms) it is a shame that this issue happens.

One of the ways to fix this issue could be to only render the upper part of the reactor when player directly looks at it from inside the reactor room since the upper half that is causing this clipping cannot be seen when looking through the doors.

Directly above the Inspirational Hall is the Great Clan hall so it has no rooms to the side of it, ruling out interference from an upper floor.

2nd bug is with adjacent Inspirational Halls themselves. If 2 halls are connected directly they will cause clipping in the corners of each other as seen on this video:

Thankfully this second issue is less visible since it only happens in the corners.

P.S. can we get a total room count tracker somewhere in the dojo UI, or a proper dojo management UI for that matter?

Edit: I did not highlight it in the video, but reactors connected to the T-connector also clip into the Hall, you can see the layout on the map.

What do you mean by "Suda or Hexis syndicate specific handshake." ? I never saw anything like that in the game

The basic idea is that you have a handshake emote. and the motions that players do, change depending on their syndicate alignments.

For example regular handshake is a hand lock and a pat on a shoulder. while if you (both players) are a part of Perrin Sequence, you get a courteous bow instead.
    This applies to all syndicates.

Here is a quote from a wiki page:

    Quote

Another type of Emote that can be performed are Handshakes, which are emotes performed simultaneously between two players. In order to perform a Handshake, a player must first perform the Handshake emote, which will set them up. Once set up, another player can perform the Handshake emote on the player already set up to initiate the actual Handshake action. Apart from the normal Handshake gesture, each of the seven Syndicates also possess their own different Handshakes.

Hi! I'm interested to join, although the application form has the field box of "Your Warframe Forum Submission". What do I put in there? My accomplished form? Problem is I can't accomplish a form without putting something there so can you guys clarify it for me, please?

    Thank you!

Basically, it is a link to a post in this thread in which you show the trailer that you made (aka post link to the video here)

  7. All righty. let's rock and roll.

Here is a short one after some painful mixing a lot of things together. Not hoping for anything since my country is not in the list of eligible participants, but hey, I'm here to have some fun!

  8. Just got Centaur from the login (AW melee)... I have been using it ever since its release and it is even my main archwing melee.... so....WUT O_o?

on the same note, I testify that Razer Comms and Steam do not mix well even after update, what happened in 18.0.4??? all worked fine before it.

  9. I'd dare to speculate, but maybe, it could be bound with the Steam version only, my pals with standalone installs have updated successfully while i am stuck in "Wait till later" screen just like everyone here.

  10. Speaking of the Nvidia 357+ drivers (aka 357.55 359.00 and all in between) they have broken something in the rendering sequence and there have been various hiccups with them for many (and me as well)

so I'd recommend downgrading to 355 drivers for the time being since for some wicked reason Warframe just runs better on them than the latest release.

  11. problem boils down to poor crash handling of the drivers by the game.

until recently same problem was also with network connectivity when if you had something wrong upon mision end it would crash but that is a story for another time.

Some of the bigger title games o games with engines that are supported by large communities, there are always good crash handlers that can halt game processes and restore them until the driver has responded or been restored.

The driver lockdown happens due to too much stuff being sent over to the GPU and so Windows TDP happens, and a proper way of handling this issue has not yet been implemented in the Evolution engine (aka homebrewn modif og UE3)

Either way, there is no way of bypassing that once it happened to you, it will happen more and more, only solution could be getting and upgrade albeit we could raise this issue on NVidia/AMD forums and see if they do something in the drivers themselves.

We are all in this same boat Tenno, and fix is nowhere near to be seen :(

  12. This happens due to video drivers crashing.

Problem is with the fact that distribution of load onto GPU is not optimal at the moment since drivers for both AMD and Nvidia have not had any changes done to how they handle Warframe ever since game got first release in its earliest beta days and to how game sends out tasks to the GPU threads.

This results sometimes in various aspects of your hardware locking up and thus crashing drivers in an attempt to alleviate the intense load.

A simple example would be like this: one core has had too much load on it so it shrugs it off and then picks up whatever it can actually load.

This kind of situation can generally be avoided by Undeclocking your GRU core and memory clocks as that way your GPU will have some more headroom before its limit even if it does an automatic overclock when there is thermal or power headroom available. By UC-ing you effectively create a cushion for the auto-OC.

Also check your GPUs for their ASIC quality.

It reflects how well does your GPU handle harsh loads and the higher its score the less it is likely to leak current effectively locking up itself.

    ---------------------------------------------

There have been forum posts about this issue and reddit community has experienced same issues so what i outlined here is a layman's terms explanations of what they came to say well as some of my own experience since i have same problem

    I hope this helped ;=)

  13. So this is something that is fairly recent and has been ocuring since releast of 17.10 and up and been persisting over the course of 17.11 and on.

While running Warframe in Fullscreen if I tab out of the game or change my displaying options like: windowed to fullscreen or resolution, occur these of the following.

On first tabout the game stops recognizing the input, keyboard is not recognized and mouse is tuck in the up-left corner (aka the 0,0) also not responding to any sort of input, be it clicks, movement or scrolling.

Upon second tabout, the instance of DirectX that game is running upon crashes (tested in dX 9,10 and 11). Albeit i could be to do with the drivers failing to handle the load the instance of dX is sending over to them, reason being the fact of game still running and locking input from any other area than task bar.

This results in requirement of use of Task Manager to end task,

    ----------------------------------------------------

Another issue that i would like to bring up is of rapid input while ingame.

Rapid usage of various map bound inputs like clicking and scroling dip framerate down, in some cases even lowering it to the 0.

One of the more prominent examples is scrolling in the mod window. Baing a user of one of Logitec mice with rapid scrolling wheels that you can fling and scroll through the whole list of many many mods.

This action drops fps to 0 until I stop the mouse wheel, and this has not an issue prior to 17.10.

Same sort of behavior repeats if i fling the scroll wheel while in a mission or rapidly fire burst or semi-auto weapons (Burston Prime as an example).

    ----------------------------------------------------

The hardware i am using is as follows:

    a Lenovo y510p laptop with:

16GB RAM (not as it matters)

    2x Nvidia GT750m 2GB GDDR5 VRam

    Intel i7 4700MQ 2.4-3.4GHz

All drivers are up to date

    ----------------------------------------------------

  14. here is the deal, Crimson Dervish will not do anything good to you as stances do not transfer,

go for base damage first instead of elementals when building stuff.

scrap faction mod for a base damage mod

if you are using: Dual Cleavers, Skana, or Mire use the syndicate mod to gain even more base damage

do not be afraid of spoiled strike, attack speed does not carry over to the ability

    as for the excalibro

i have seen worse builds, but hey not all of us have sense for modding right away, it takes time

the only aspect of his abilities dependent on duration is the blind, so scrap any duration mods

use overextended, range is important, BUT also do negate the negative power strength, but since hurting efficiency is bad use transient fortitude + intensify (or a r3 blind rage, no more than that)

QT + Rage + Vitality combo is required, you are using life strike already

scrap redirection, only high shield frames use it, that is rhino/volt/mag/frost, others have no use for it

do not use equilibrium, it is a waste of modding space on non-support type frames (vauban is support frame, so he can, but not excalibur)

scrap flow, you need efficiency over capacity, why you ask? cuz with good efficiency you can start blending enemies into blobs of meat the moment you get 1 energy orb, meaning less time searching for them

yet again, scrap duration mods, and for the love of god, when possible, remove ANY POLARITY for aura slot, excalibur is made to be compatible with both steel charge and energy siphon for a good reason, flexibility

now if possible, read this over a few times and think why your CRITS after blinding enemies with radial blind are STILL LOWER than regular dmg of a properly modded excalibur + any melee set

  15. oh my, im not alone in the startcrash wave with game crashing the moment i click play, awsum. (f********k), troubleshooting did not help and i guess i have to wait a bit more until 16.6.2 fix with rollbacks comes live, fun fun fun (if it will even be named that way, maybe it will be 16.6.1.1 "more numbers!!")

    anyhow... we wanna fix!

  16. I hereby blacklist you on all lists of holy gods of RNG and curse all void drops you might want to get in future!

(but seriously that is hella luck there)
