  1. - Mission / Kubrow issue: Unable to obtain Kubrow Egg.

Before starting the quest, I was invited to the "Find Kubrow Egg..." mission. Of course I did not get an egg then (did not expect this, either).

Now after taking the quest, I have taken part in the mission several times (as part of a squad and solo), but never found an egg.

Is there something special I have to do (except destroying the den)?

Edit: I assume instead of Kubrow Eggs I just get Nav coordinates. (They fall out of the Kubrow dens.)

    - GUI issue:

In the old interface, before and after missions, I could see the loadout for my squad mates. Now there is no display anymore.

Edit/add: You can see it in the ESC menu (where you can leave a squad)

In general: Congratulations to the prologue and Liset ship additions. To me the game feels more "immersive" than before. Shortcuts are important, too, of course, so it is good that you have them.

    Edit2: typofix

  2. Meanwhile, DE kindly answered my support request about the issue:

    > [The issue] comes from completing a mission when it was on an invasion or
    > alert. It would have opened up the planet, but not registered as the base
    > planet completed. Just try running through them all again, that should fix
    > the issue.

[Also the developers know about the bug, and it will be fixed eventually.]

=> So if anyone has the same problem, now you know what to do.

Just do all twenty missions again. But make sure there is no Alert active. :-/

  3. If someone announces hosting of a mission in Recruting / Clan / Alliance, either

    (a) you scroll the very long list of attendees (!!) on the right, and use "Talk To" from the context menu, or

    (b) you manually enter "/w <player> <message>". With some long names this is pretty bad.

Suggestion: make the sender name in the chat window "active", and let a single click select "talk to", or have a right-click display a context menu with "talk to".

Or did I overlook something, and there is already such a key / click combination? Thanks for a pointer!

  4. Have you tried the above work around for now?

Go to your controls and bind something to the melee key. You'll be able to attack in melee mode. Controller users are screwed till DE fixes it though.

No, I just checked - melee attack is bound to the same key as quick melee ("E").

When I assign a second alternative, I can still not "charge" the attack to make the kestrel fly.

  5. Having this problem with the keyboard.

    My bindings have not changed.

Upon entering melee 2.0 mode, I cannot attack.

I can channel, block, and just about everything else.

    But I cannot attack.

Same here, as already reported, with Kestrel - equipped Kestrel will make funny sound and glowing light animation, but not throw.

    Quick melee works.

  6. Trying to answer a few questions:

    (a) Verify and then defrag the Warframe cache file (from the Game Updater / Launcher, _before_ you hit the "Play" button). Verify makes sure there is no local corruption in your game data. Defrag means your computer stores everything of the game data that belongs together "in one block" on your hard drive. Also your hard drive and the OS do an additional internal check on the data when you defrag. A read error can lead to the problems you describe, so this advice from xTwoTails is sound.

    (b) You can't have your full 4GiB of memeory because some of the memory space is set aside for I/O, the BIOS and the operating system. This is completely normal on a Windows system.

© Warframe is a very memory-intensive (and sometimes CPU-intensive) game. You could - temporarily - try reducing the graphics resolution (this should save some memory) and then see if you can at least make a few screenshots (to show your problems to DE / TheChosen117).

    Hope this is somewhat useful.

[Disclaimer: I'm just a guy who tinkers with computers a lot, no affiliate of DE or otherwise.]
