They literally did this with the variants, then they removed them.

I still don't get why they removed them.

Me neither. The Variants were dope and felt more old-school. Christmas is right around the corner and we haven't even gotten a snowball fight. :(

I tested this with someone else, only the host could play normally. The client player would get the same black screen unless they joined after the match had started.

This is a much bigger issue with server-hosted games though, because every player is a client, and at least 2 people need to be in the pre-game lobby for the match to begin.

Wew lad. Gotta love global variables.

  3. As of Hotfix 22.1.0, this bug is still persisting. This bug is mostly game-breaking because some come using projectile weapons and not be aware of what's killing them. I'm curious to know HOW in Heaven this bug even transpired. Out of the 25 years of Gaming, this is the most interesting and frustrating bug I've seen.

Also, This meme is pure dank.

Getting killed by a puncture secondary e.g. Furis (especially MK1 Furis) is letting me die inside every time. It feels like the one who killed me did this once my shields are down or just landed a few accidental crossfire hits.

The MK1 Furis has ~20 puncture dmg and does 29 total dmg. Put a puncture conversion mod on and you'll do something around 45 on pure hp. <-This with a gun that has a mag of 35 rounds, a fire rate of 8.33 and a reload time of 1.4 seconds (holster reload mod beside).

With that you just need two or three hits to finish light and mid Warframes once their shields are gone (usually including some hp on the shield breaking hit) which is way to easy to do with stats like that. You just have to hold down LMB and eventually wipe your crosshair over the opponents model to kill.

Pytha told me: "autos also take skill. different skill set than your bow or sniper play."

So I'd suggest to lower the dmg and increase the fire rate of those puncture auto secondaries. The ttk is preserved and ppl with tracking skill still have the chance to shine while accidental hits won't be such devastating blows as they are atm.

I've been saying this for Odin knows how long. I wouldn't have too much of a problem with this gun if it didn't have a high mag size.

Sniper rifles are more than viable. They no longer seem to suffer from ridiculously broken accuracy while scoped in, are able to 2 shot most frames with some variance, and with the headshot multiplier buff they now consistently one shot on headshot.

Yup, As of Recurring Dreams, snipers are now in a good spot, thank to the Headshot multiplier reversion and Lanka rebalance.  My opinion of Emergent Aftermath still stands, however. But I can deal with it and adapt.

  6. I played only one Conclave match throughout the scope of The Index Preview. I never thought the only thing everyone wanted ended up breaking the damn game mode. All these positive changes and so many people can't even test them.

  7. The first time I played Conclave after U17 launched changed Conclave 2.0 forever. But skill gaps and all... The only issues with Movement in Conclave is that it doesn't translate well in PVE, in the context of your movement is unrestricted in PVE. So I have to remind myself that I'm gonna slower than a Scorpion infused with Molecular Prime once I play PVP. It'd be nice to have that movement again.

  8. The constant bugs that arise and the lack of consistency in the improvement of the Conclave. I really do not know what the direction of the Conclave is right now. Right now, me and few others are waiting for The War Within to make a clear decision what this direction is. It's not looking good. The new players get destroyed and never return. The ones who stay use exploits to get kills because TTK is too bothersome. Problems with some of the exploits( I'll use Melee as a example) is that these exploits are usually a crutch to be able to match with crackshot players. When they are fixed, these players get exposed on their bad habits and are unable to adapt to the change. I will be vilified but, until The War Within is out or a talk of a Melee rework, I prefer new players to stay out of Conclave if you are too frustrated. Vote with your sanity and/or temporal wallet, warriors.

Edit: Any DE staff that finds offense in my statement can contest with me privately. I do not say these things to get reactions.

  9. Maaaaan....I understand your sentiment. But, with The War Within, PVP issues with melees, Lunaro, I don't know if the player base and DE can be arsed to put in the Beam Weapons. If Glaxion was put in right now, you would be the ire of every player in the game. As a personal issue, the last thing I would need in the Conclave is someone trying to be Mei from Overwatch, freeze me with a Glaxion, and shoot me in the head with a Lex, thinking that it's cute.

  10. I probably said this about three times now. The issue resides in Melee 2.0. Melee need to be re-worked. Right now, as that is happening, is locking players from control. Whether you are the target or the user of a melee attack, you're still stuck. All the while, we have the Advanced Movement System, where you can fly around freely at 360. Melee is too one-dimensional when we have movement like this.

  11. Thanks for this post. I was gonna write a thread on this myself but I'm glad it was you that beat me to it. I mostly play Conclave these days while I wait for The War Within. Recently, Conclave Stances were introduced to make Melee quick and able to close gap with opponents faster. As much as I welcomed these new stances, it is nothing but a band-aid to fix a more, broader issue. Melee needs to have the same fluidity as the Advanced Movement System(Parkour 2.0) or be in sync with it. Right now, it is limited to a two-dimensional plane and it is harder to cancel moves mid-combo. Implementation of this is beyond me, right now. However, I wish for DE to have a say in this matter because, as much as I am astounded by the extraordinary changes to the entire scope of the game, Melee is the only remnant that lingers, control-wise and gameplay-wise, from a old way of fighting and it needs to be addressed.

P.S. Hell, I cannot remember killing anything with a Wall Attack, Human or A.I.

  12. You want to use Dark Dagger, that is just fine. No one should be restricted to use certain weapons, however do not expect others to commend your use of it. As far as Melee is concerned, this is more of a global matter, in the context of, melee and its mechanics hasn't synced with the Advanced Movement System introduced in U17. Therefore, I suggest DE to NOT rework the current Melee system. Instead,  Open the discussion about melee in Warframe to players, let them put in their 2 cents, and see if it needs to be reworked, based of the discussion.
