1. Banshee.

Mind elaborating as to why?

If you like to be a tank I think Rhino would be the best choice for you.

I've already got my BP's for rhino (not main BP though) so that's what I'm leaning towards unless someone presents a better alternative.

Excal, Ash, or Banshee

Not sure abotu Excal, but I've been looking into Ash as well. Mind telling me why you believe he would fit my criteria? Same for banshee.

Overload useless at later levels? I didn't find mine useless.

Also, the Volt isn't meant to be a tank.

But meh, out of point.

A more in your face frame would be Rhino for the tankiness.

Another one would be Ash, though it would rely on it's invisibility a lot to get through fights.

I realize Volt isn't meant to be a tank. I don't care what he's meant to be, that's what I made him into. But yes, overload is useless imo. Having to cast overload more than once to kill anything becomes a definite problem.

Again, what about Ash makes him fit my criteria?

He said that while he likes Rhino, he doesn't want to switch from being super fast, to being mega slow.

Thanks for actually reading.

2. Currently, I have a rank 30 volt. I love volt, but I have two massive issues with him.

1.) Shock is useless, overload is useless at higher level mission, shield is SLIGHTLY useful, only really use him for speed.

2.) Polarity slots -- Has no D slots, and I like to be tanky, meaning I'm using 10 points just for shields on an un-potatoed frame.

So, because of those two, I'm building a new frame. I want rhino because he has D polarity slots, but I've read he is incredibly slow, which would be unbearable switching from using speed, to being dead last getting everywhere.

So then, give me suggestions as to who to play. I don't really give two S#&$s about frame skills as I've played this game with very pointless skills so far, so any useful skills is still a plus over just using speed.

For the most part, I'm a very "up in your face" player. Rather than rolling around and dodging and et cetera, et cetera, I just punch enemies in the face with gram and let them do what they will.

3. I like the skin idea, but that doesn't really work because of the reload mechanics of a crossbow. Also, I realize that the Bolto/Boltor already have the filled, but the snipetron/boltor already had the Paris' spot filled, and it was still made. Variety is good, regardless of if something similar is already there.

4. Well, I love the Paris. I think it's a wonderful weapon, but I've come to a conclusion about it's usefulness.

It has none.

It's incredibly fun to use, and on lower leveled missions, it's perfectly fine to use. However, it doesn't feel like a primary. It feels like a side-arm.

So my suggestion would be, a crossbow sidearm. It would be very similar to Paris, essentially like the Bolto/Boltor

For it's upgraded version, you could implement a repeating crossbow, with less accuracy. (Like Bolto to Akbolto, Lato to Aklato, Furis to Afuris, Viper to Twin vipers..) Obviously, dual wielding crossbows would be stupid, so a repeating crossbow would have the same idea, while keeping the practicality.

For the most part, the benefit of a crossbow is the ability to have a bolt prepared already, which means you wouldn't have to charge your shot. It would be fully charged in preparation. However, there would still be the same thought process as with Paris, because after you fire, you have to reload (and generally, loading a crossbow is harder than drawing a bow to full strength, so it would have a longer reload time), so you would need to decide if the shot was worth making, and then reload if it was. It would have the same piercing ability as Paris, the same high damage (maybe even higher, depending on the reload time(draw strength)).

This would create a whole new weapon mechanic, in which you have to remember to reload between battles to make the best use of the weapon.

The repeating crossbow would essentially minimize reload time but lower accuracy, and likely lower damage as for high fire rate draw strength would need to be lessened to increase the draw speed. It would use bolt racks as ammo

So there's my idea. Comments and Criticism. Later tonight I may make a crossbow out of Paris on photoshop.

5. Only things that need tweaking are the disruptors and the toxic.

Disruptors shouldn't take 100% of shield and energy with one hit, and toxic health damage is a bit too high imo. Even worse when cornered by multiples. Either that or that speed or length of the Ancient's sprint should be nerfed, then all the real problems fall away.

Their health and damage is fine. Knockdowns are just broken in general, for every mob that can do it. The two seconds of standing pointlessly make knockdowns extra OP. A stand up animation like the MOA have would be nice.

6. I have a few things I've thought of that could be useful.

1.) Don't stop fusion when changing organization of the page..for instance, you find your mod by name, and then switch to rarity, but it turns off the fusion, so you have to find your mod in the rarity page to use that organization
2.) Best fusion sort, organizes your mods specifically for what would be best to fuse. (Giving you the most fusion points)

7. Yeah the 7 bumps aren't necessary. Find a temporary graphics card for testing to eliminate possibilities. If it does it on a different graphics card, try reinstalling your drivers. If it still does it, it might be warframe.

8. This would help alot for players that are melee oriented like me.

i need to switch from my Paris bow to my Akalto to finish those flyers, since i can't melee them

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ground slam. 'Nough said.

9. I realize this is a game so balance should be maintained, but when you have a higher rate of fire, you don't take away ammunition, you add more and more and ammo drums and belts and boxes and crates and shoot until everything is dead without moving your finger from the trigger.

10. Can't really see cloth doing anything but clash with my warframe.

Come on gurl, I thought you knew how to dress?

You want to make me happy? Give me those bunny ears from Easter. I would have the most adorable volt in all of the solar system.

11. Aim+Aklato?

You're funny.

,

Just shoot until everything is dead.

,

Rifle:

Gorgon

Hek

Braton (not mk1) or Burstron -- Cheap and efficient until you reach higher levels.

Boltor -- Another easy one to make, has the rail type thing as with paris, just doesn't feel as rewarding..per se

Paris -- only if you have good aim and the ability to lead your shots... paris is kind of glitchy, but god damn is it fun. ,

Pistols:

,

Aklato - Get this now, if you want to aim carefully, aim carefully. If not, just run and gun.

,

Akbolto - Working on this for myself now, heard it is one of the best (if not the best) side arms dps wise-- Has boltor/paris wall stick mechanic

,

Afuris - Same as Akbolto, just wastes a lot of ammo. ,

,

Melee:

,

Anything past cronus and skana really..my personal favorites are gram and fang.

,

,

Also, I do play Volt. Essentially, shock is useless. However, the other three can come in handy. For instance, you can fire bullets through your shield to give them electrical damage. Also, speed allows you to burst across the map like a rocket, to save dead allies, for instance, or to be a $&*^. Overload really loses it's usefulness once you reach higher level missions unless you upgrade it, but it's damn good for when you get swarmed.

12. I like playing my games, not watching them.

It would be nice if the boss cutscene that shows when the boss spawns didn't spin your camera around, though.

They turn your entire warframe around lol. It's @(*()$ annoying.@OPSure! As long as they give me an option to disable them, why the hell not?
13. While it doesn't really make sense that they are not harmed, we have super space ninja war suits. Can't really comment on "impossibilities" in this game.

My only issue is accidentally bumping into one and insta-dying because you continually stand up in the laser, with no option to get out. One would think a quasi-God would be able to do this wonderful thing called "rolling out of the way".

14. Upvoted OP because to a point, I agree. However, really only one or the other is needed, though both would, of course, be preferable.

,

If drop rate is fixed, trading becomes less necessary (outside of things such as rubedo/galium/alloy plates/blah blah blah)

,

If trading (and I mean full no limits trading) is added, then farming for credits would become the new thing, rather than farming for mods.

,

,

So I do agree to a point, but I would like to say to you personally, don't give up on the game yet. Maybe take a break for a little while until DE rectifies this situation. If they do not, you can move on your way. There is no reason to expedite your departure from the game.

,

Commas added to keep everything spaced. For whatever reason, it keeps contracting my post.

15. " not just point and shoot/melee."

It's unfortunate that Jackal becomes exactly that when you get good enough weapons.. just take him down once, sit under his leg with gram/scindo (2 people doing it is better) and continuously power attack. He won't be able to stand back up long enough to do anything. Rarely even gets a stomp off. I would like to see more complex bosses though, for sure. The first time I fought jackal it was decently fun, but then again, he just felt like a bullet sponge once I learned the simple mechanics of the fight.

16. Yup. Also you can't color the blade of Plasma sword?? But I see many Gram blades colored. Plasma is the redheaded step child of the Gram, I supposed. Ever neglected.

I was misinformed then. My friend said he tried to color the plasma sword but it wouldn't ever show.

Also, I have yet to see Gram display correctly unless I am the host.

17. If any admin believes this is a glitch, feel free to move it, but since it ALWAYS happens, I figured this was something intentional.

I don't know why, but unless you are the host of the game, swords with energy (gram, plasma sword) do not show the proper color.

For instance, I will set the energy to red, and while I'm hosting I will see it perfectly fine. However, if I'm not hosting it will turn a yellowish glowing light color, which the entire reason I chose red is because it removes the big glowy light bar in exchange for a thin nice red light.

If this is intentional, I'd like to know why, and if it can be fixed. If it is not, again, it should be fixed. It's very annoying that I go through the trouble to make My warframe match with paris and gram just to end up having a random yellow gram. Thanks in advance.

--- Just noticed the is also true with Paris.

18. I would say vote to kick would be the best option. So if the person isn't bothering you by being AFK, they can stay. Sometime when I'm running things like Tolstoj, I don't care if people want to have a free ride. But if I was on like pluto and they did, I'd want them replaced.

Vote to kick gives more discretion as to the scenarios in which you want someone out of your game. This could also help with many other issues too, as well as afk. Either way, vote to kick seems like the simpler and better option, as vote to kick for other reasons will probably be added eventually anyway.

19. Normaly I only find slowpokes on mercury, and rubedo worlds. Mercury mainly because they think that they need to break/open every loot object. And rubedo....well it's rubedo I won't fault anyone who brakes for loot on a rubedo planet.

For me, my main issue is finding people that SOMEHOW are on planets like saturn/mars/ and higher, yet still don't understand the maps, and walk around aimlessly even when I make it a point to go slowly so they can follow. After that, it's people who won't get in the god damn elevators.
