Would go from useless to a flat out hindrance if it made you pick up energy orbs when you had full power but not full health.

with range, duration and power mods, ember is fun on against infested xini as you literally walk around and watch the mobs die.

Just wanted to add that today I went into the void and found that every set of stairs snagged me on the second or third step and sometimes at the top.
I also found there was a HUGE FPS hit compared to other levels. But I guess it could have been due to the fact that I was soloing the void and not killing every enemy.
However, the frame-rate dropped pretty early on and I found it difficult to kill as I started missing a lot.
