75% reduced ability duration, applied multiplicatively. If you have 200% ability duration modded and thus an ability would be boosted from a baseline 50 seconds up to 100 seconds, Abbreviated Abilities will reduce that ability back down to 25 seconds. It also affects channeled abilities, the channeling cost suffers. My Titania goes from "permanent Razorwing" to "Razorwing for a few seconds" (I'm exaggerating, but you get the point).

    Oh I see thank you!

Well not a big deal tbh, I had builds with sub 40% duration on plenty of frames. Changing it from 40% to 15% won’t be a huge deal. I bet Hildryn would love it.

I also have an Abbreviated Abilities. It's hard to protect the objects in the Mirror Defense while I'm paying attention to surviving.

Grendel can just eat those enemies and they’re dead, and Kuva Zarr is considered one of the strongest weapons in game(not in top but still). You don’t even need anything else outside of Grendel and Zarr

And ahat the h is abbreviated abilities??

  3. Smeeta is just such a trash pet by itself it will be completely useless without Resource buff.

Crit? Yeah I love those crits on my non-crit build phenmor or on red crit weapons to tone down my damage a lot.

Tbh I don’t even know about other buffs as those are pretty much worthless for me. Some reloading, shield recovery or energy refill?

Smeeta isn’t your everyday pet, it’s just something you take for an hour SP mission and even there sometimes I couldn’t even had it proc at time even once, stupid RNG. For everyday you can just pick Panzer or one of sentinels.

  4. Hard to tell. Personally I love the story and most of quest. It might look chaotic and random, but it has some charm and appealing, overall I don’t like games where we’re just another bald humans, but hey, how many other games allow you to take control (and fully customize) your own bio-terminator to slay thousands of bad guys?

I love cracking rivens and try make a decent build for unpopular  weapon I’ve just got riven for. So I just grind for rivens and kuva… Untill new great quest comes out to give me few great hours… And more grind!

  5. Only thing where 50% of weapons struggle with ammo it’s circuit, but it is own can of worms. In regular Steel Path missions I don’t run out of ammo on weapons like Acceltra, but Zarr or Bramma has some issues even with ammo mutator, but it’s not your spam weapons anyway it’s rather panic button when you need clear room fast. But you can completely forget about anything I’ve written if you subsume Protea’s helminth ability, with this you can even spam Zarr and Bramma.

I definitely started to do better with headshots after incarnon introduction (But I have no clue how bad it is on consoles). With something like Toxocysts I can have more than half of my kills as headshots. And overall I can’t really tell bad about Gunplay on PC, I even use some bad weapons like Argonak and it performs eh… Underwhelming but fine. The biggest issue is Headshot bleed procs doesn’t count as headshot kills, because when your shot deal 1000 damage and bleed proc deals 100 000 damage it’s very hard to make headshot kills.

Go play it and be honest and then come back. Your descriptor "on older maps" is suspect. Keep in mind the comment I made about 'one jump' 5-10m.

I did play some, Lua, Kuva Fortress, Mars and ofc the new one. Regarding “old” means every that isn’t new Albrecht’s lab tileset, because it’s new with enemy spawning in the next room.

On old maps it was nothing like on new one, I still had to aim in right direction, sometimes demolitionist spawns closer, sometimes further, sometimes when Acolyte appears I can miss on any demolitionist markers at all untill it room away from me.

  7. You’re just trying to compare warm and soft @CrownOfShadows. In past I had to aimlessly running through corridors (that also makes me feel cartographic degeneration even after over 2000 hours) untill the Demolitionist appear on map aswell. Because I had problems with this beeping, and add to this, understanding where this beeping comes from, especially on map like Kuva fortress with multiple floors. Other people had no problems with it for different reasons, but it was problem for me.

Change hasn’t made disruptions “easier” it made it more “accessible”. Accessible doesn’t mean easy.

no her problem is definitely the k-drive, waverider isn't too hard.

Yes Wavedriver isn’t hard, I did it very fast when I get into K-Drive. But you completely ignored my statement. WAVEDRIVER DOES NOT GIVE YOU MERULINA. Unlike Khora which can be farmed in Sanctuary Onslaught with ridiculous droprates(and you can actually realize it when you start getting her blueprints in SO), I have 0 clues where to farm Yareli. Game doesn’t tell me where to farm her, her parts aren’t even brought from Ventkids. I still have no clue where and how to farm her.

  9. I can’t be bothered with modding aswell. I do understand almost all of concepts, but build weapons with bane mods for each faction - nope. I just make one build and attend to not changing it.

Auras in Warframe overall worthless, with few exceptions, their bonus is so minisque it will make no difference at lvl200+ content. And yes I’m lazy, I don’t have stockpile of formas, almost always I slot Steel Charge aura for extra capacity because it can save me 1-2 polarities. I’ve never made aura forma, it’s just useless because I can just slap madurai polarity there and I won’t change Steel Charge there ever again.

This mod is good for newbies, I can understand why it exists, but baming on “lazy design” is ridiculous in the game that is way too complicated. When I was playing it in 2014-2015 I was a poor student that had a lot of free time and I did invest into complicated mechanics and for every hour in the game I were spending 3 hours on wiki, today I just wanna play my favorite game I don’t have luxury of reading wiki 8 hours per day.  I just SLAP my lazy builds and go SLAP my enemies.

  10. Yareli problem is not K-Drive, Yareli problem is some completely ****** farming. Probably among the worst. I finished quest just to find out I need to do something else (God knows what without wiki) to get her parts. Well nope. No way. Just f@ck it. It’s good I had platinum from prime access and bought whole Yareli bundle, otherwise I’d still won’t have her.

That’s why this augment won’t fix anything.

And regarding radio-silence from DE, I might assume that’s not because DE deliberately doesn’t want to fix it, but “can’t” find a way to fix those bugs in that spaghetti code mess without huge resource investment.

  11. Look at Rhino, Oberon and Valkyre if you’re talking about “niche”(trash) passives. Dante has great passive, nothing overpowering nor underperforming. You just get free status and scans(depending on how clubky it is), very balanced spot.

alright so, imagine: you have a dog, you like the dog. you and the dog are always together and the dog always has your back.

but then it turns out that your dog needs to be put down because the dog is a problem. maybe it's been stealing food from the other dogs, maybe it's been terrorizing the neighbourhood's cats, maybe it crushed a toddler's skull because it's insane, maybe it's got rabies.

even if you can understand the logic behind *why* the dog has to be put down, your emotional response is "heck no. i love this dog. dont take my dog away from me.".

the dog is nourish and eclipse.

people love these abilities, and even if they may understand that for the greater good DE has to take em out back and shoot em with the nerf shotgun, that doesn't mean they cant be upset about losing something they love.

the reality is: most of these people who are screaming and crying about losing their dog, will just.... adopt a new one within a couple weeks and move on. a select few will mourn the passing of the dog for a much longer amount of time but their opinions on the matter don't really weigh in against the greater good.

This is probably the most weird comparison anyone could come up with. If pixels in the game mean for some person as much as lose of beloved pet than this person has serious mental issues and require psychologists help ASAP.

    Get your Dual Zoren ready.

Besides the comical weapons. DE has forced meta conditions in the game you must follow or you're doing it wrong. It's why previous top Tier frames like Loki and Nyx are hardly used anymore. Band-aid after band-aid, only certain things work in Warframe. Deviation from this is a pipe dream. Esp since the addition of Overguard.

Their example of Nyx was hilarious to me. She's entirely held together by an augment at this point when previously her whole kit was used.

What the hell you even talking about. Nyx was the frame that carried me all solo interceptions on SP without any augment. I played it just fine for what I needed.

I honestly don’t understand where you all are getting this “forced gameplay” thing. Haven’t you played other games? In some crappy games like Dota if you playing off-meta character you will lose unless you’re 5x better than enemy team, because difference and impact of meta and off-meta characters is ridiculous. Or better example new Helldivers, when with non-meta weapons you WON’T BE ABLE TO EVEN FINISH MISSION. In Warframe I can kill SP enemies with “trash” weapons like Argonak, Tenora, Komorex etc just fine to be able finish any mission.

Where are you getting this “few things work in Warframe” bs? Did you post negative review to game on steam when AoE ammo economy and Wukong were nerfed?

P.S. Loki is my always safe pick in SP circuit because it’s very reliable frame with helminth abilities.

  14. Lvl 300 enemies can be done with only operator, so you’re not even that screwed with random gear c’mon.

Random loadouts are pretty fun and at least for me, who invested in plenty of “off-meta”  weapons and frames, is very rewarded and personally I can’t complain.

You just need 1 decent weapon in any slot and you’re done, and as I already said - just tune up your operator that can crack those lvl 300 enemies. If you don’t want to adapt it’s not really a problem of game design.

Actually if that is a feature of mobile then this can become a problem for not just Conclave with players running the mobile version via desktop emulators.

Though who knows if it'll be enough of an issue for DE to ever bother to do anything about it.

What kind of problem? You can easily achieve 50% headshot kills without any aim support if you stand still. Of course it gets harder if you actively moving but mobile players have this situation much worse than we. Or you need aim assist to aim your Bramma, Zarr, Ogris, Ignis, Torid, whatever? XD

Conclave will be only issue for this, but that’s for conclave players to decide how bad it is.

Haha, lol what? Sorties and Archon Hunts? There is different reward than Ayatan Statues?

Steel Path as a one riven to purchase from Teshin once in a month?

Iron Wake - I’m not interested in buying Zaw and Kitgun rivens, I already sold over 20 of each for 5 endo, I’m not engaging with this S#&$ anymore(And to fact, that I not playing the game that often, but still swim in those garbage zaw and kitgun rivens).

So in this list I have not seen a real source of normal rivens. If there won’t be zaw and kitgun rivens in circuit, that would be perfect.

The issue with gas is the main issue with most things that aren't just Viral + Insert Damage Type here or Corrosive, or hell even Radiation.

The fact that they don't stand on their own and need even more set up just to match having the previous elements I mentioned.

I see people say "Oh use Hildryn with Larva to get Gas procs and it'll be just as if not better" and I hear "If you want to match just slotting in Two or Three mods into a weapon you need a armor strip frame ability with a grouping ability to do so."

And I get it, it can be fun to do things that aren't the Meta. I have a Nekros Build with Terrify Subsumed out just so I can have Soul Punch to get Thrax Enemies. But I don't think trying to convince that Gas is fine when you need like a ten step plan to match even the basic of other Element Types.

The issue for me is that you not having even a 100 step plan to make magnetic, blast, puncture and cold viable and solid statuses! Your basic of other elements are Viral, Heat, Slash. Radiation, Poison are very niche statuses, which you aren’t even using that often or specifically build for them. So it kinda not fair. Corrosion is just pointless, it can’t strip whole armor, on very high lvls full corrosion stacks won’t even increase your damage significantly, heat-viral will outdamage heat-corrosion by a huge margin. So corrosion is even more underdog status than gas imo.

Yes gas is very “not great” to say at least, but it just has its “AoE nuke build” when you pair Gas with Electricity. Yes you need armor strip and group ability and those are extra steps you don’t need in even low bracket SP missions, but in the long run, those two will be important steps to do even lvl 600+ SP enemies, so gas and electricity scales very well on higher lvl territory. Besides my inner maniac just adores looking at mt enemies choking while also being electrocuted (joke).

  18. Well gas would be pretty useless in sci-fi setting, as helmets should have filters, plus grineer lungs can have cybernetic augmentations that negates gas effect!..

But regarding theme, gas is one of strongest damage source in right condition as people said earlier. Just try something like Hildryn with helminthed Larvae + knife from New War(yes I forgot it’s name) buikt for gas and with finisher damage mods. Yeah when gas cloud procs on finisher you can just kill around 10 grouped SP grineers in a second. And that’s counting that my builds are suck. I have Aeolak with big riven, also modded for gas, 1-2 headshots in lvl 160 SP heavy gunner and it immediately dies from gas and bleed procs.

Now to problem about gas damage, when there is armor, its damage falls from billion group DPS to actually starting healing enemies (joke). And while we have a lot of armor strip abilities, not all of us using them constantly. Gas is just very niche damage for club of perverts who knows. But it’s far better than cold, blast, magnetic, puncture and impact(arguably, but it’s still the best status among those underdog statuses).

  19. Oro wyrm fight is fine, actually something fun.

Your warframe abilities do nothing against Ropalolyst , Eidolons and Profit-Taker, but I don’t sure if it bothers you, and yeah in all those fights only Warframe’s survivability matters, and all the useful skills in those fights can be useful in Oro Wyrm fight.

Claim about your weapons not hurting Wyrm on SP is kinda funny, how is it possible? Try to slot some Base damage mods instead of Arcane Merciless.
