I like the secura penta with sticky grenades. took a few formas, but it does some pretty nasty damage. just don't blow yourself up
-
I miss Xini. Back when people wanted to see how many waves they could kill and wanted the challenge of fighting level 200+ ancients (back when level scaling was crazy)
-
I bought a spare card for physx a while back, mostly just for this game. sad it was killed off so much :(

Never had an issue with the back clones being blocked. RIP to my Mirage HoM build using Torid and high punch through Secura Dual Cestra :(. Also RIP to my Equinox... but that is another thread
-
Transient fortitude now harms itself. Increases proficiency while at the same time hurting duration... which is now tied also to proficiency on toggles :/. Now as a corrupted mod it not only has 1 negative effect, but a 2nd negative effect which counteracts the whole point of the mod.
Equinox got hurt pretty badly with this update. It was my favorite frame, but now after 3-4 forma and utility slow added I can't seem to find a point to using it. Having to waste a slot to add duration, on a frame where duration is useless... and still having worse efficiency now... so counter productive. Main and group power str buff were the 2 best things equinox had going for it. Duration means nothing to either one of them...
Now with it's 2nd ability improved, I guess DE wants Equinox to just spam 2 nonstop... while having a gimp 3rd power (can't pump str as high anymore since have to waste slot on duration).

Blow dart.
-Silent
-Medium drop distance
-Long reload/single
-Extremely high toxin damage
Nanobots
-Toggled fire. When switched on it releases a swarm of nano bots that follow you, attacking anything nearby (slash/puncture damage)
-When toggled off, any remaining/living bots explode with blast damage
-Multishot mods would increase swarm size. Each nanobot consumes 1 bullet worth of ammo

If the Fomorian disruptor was a 1 time build our at least 1 per node I would probably be more interested. As it stands though, I don't enjoy excavation enough to farm cryotic and I don't enjoy archwing enough to make me want to build tons of keys just to redo the same mission over and over.
This is a time wasting event. Just something to hold players Argentina l attentions while DE gets a relaxed Christmas week to spend with their families. Losing a few relays is not important in the slightest. It is just an event mechanic to give the illusion of consequence. There is no real penalty for losing any relays, but there is a reward for those that do enjoy arch wing. Why complain about things that don't really matter? In the end you will have your shiny mods and weapon. The rest of the player bad will just continue to pay what they find fun.

How to fix Viver w/o nerfing Frames:
-Have a timer that counts up during Interception, like in Survival.
-As time goes up, enemies get progressively harder, like in Survival.
-Have enemies difficulty scale harder faster than it would in Survival (to prevent camping)
-Soon enough enemies will be to high level for most ultimate's to 1-2 shot them.
-Enemies getting progressively harder on a faster scale than Survival = adds a sense of haste to the gameplay to reach 100%
*Alternatively, they could have just removed small maps from interception or add randomized maps like Sechura, Pluto where you get 1 or 3 maps, with the pod being in one of 3 locations on 2 of those maps (in interception's case, move around the objective location markers).
How to fix Syndicate grinding (or rather, change the type of grind)
-Lower point cost for items significantly
-Add slight multiplier for Sigils
-Make Syndicate items account bound (this offsets them being easier to get for players, but not to the point where you could buy them for 5plat)
-Change system from affinity grind to Boss hunting.
-Add option for turn in's (i.e. one day the Syndicate needs Reach mods and gives 25 rep per mod, the next day it needs Vitality for 20 rep per mod), keep it set to common/uncommon mods
-Add quest lines with rewards, not just the standard alerts
There are literally dozens of different elements that could have been used to avoid such a direct rep grind.
-
The easy fix for viver would have been this:
Add a timer that counts up (like in survival) during interception, as time goes up, enemies get progressively harder (just like in... survival). That would cause enemies to eventually get hard to the point of not being able to be 1-2 shot by ults. Make the difficulty scale faster than in survival, so it adds an element of haste to interception.
But no... you nerf Warframes into the ground.

I've noticed this as well. Have a pretty zippy PC, have WF on a good SSD and have a solid internet connection. Ever since u15 the loading screens have been quite laggy, and I get frequent disconnects. It is quite annoying to be in a wave 25+ defense and get sent back to the menu.
-
That seems to be it. Guess my clan removed inactive users while I was gone. I wish there was some tool tip or something in game to tell you this when you click the dojo icon, instead of just dumping you on a random map.
-
This may be a stupid question... but I haven't played in a few weeks. I hopped on today to check out the new update, but whenever I click on my Dojo it just takes me to a random mission. Is this a bug or did I miss something and it is working as intended? I am at a bit of a loss.

They should explode and add a stackable debuff that doubles damage taken.
It could do +50% dmg taken for 10 seconds. getting hit by a 2nd explosion within the 10 seconds would double it to +50% and reset the timer to 10. then +100%, +200% and so on.
Also buff their HP and/or defense some. To make them a priority target. As it stands right now, they can be blown up easily at any level without even noticing they were there.

Yeah I neglected to read the part in the patch notes about multithreading being enabled by default. Disabled that earlier and game started up just fine. Not sure why they decided to change that to a default if it isn't fully stable yet.

I just reinstalled the game to try out update 11. Unfortunately it seems the game now refuses to fully load.
The launcher loads up and does it's thing as usual, but when I click "Play" it will boot up the game,
up to the splash screen. Once there it just locks up at the initial splash screen image, and the only thing that ever loads
is the little bar at the bottom left for frame response/fps. The loading bar itself never moves and I have to force crash
the game to get back out.
I never had this issue with this game before. Anyone else experiencing this?
System Specs (not posting to brag or anything, just figure it may help in finding an answer to the problem)
Windows 7 (up to date)
AMD FX-8350 @ 4.9Ghz Watercooled (Prime stable)
32GB G.Skill DDR3 1866 RAM @ 2166 stable
2x OCZ Vertex 4 SSD's in Raid 0
Asus Sabertooth 990FX Rev 2 mobo with current bios
2x EVGA GTX680's overclocked in SLi
EVGA GTX650 overclocked for Physx
video drivers: 331.82
Can't think of any other relevant info

Prior to 8.3 I never had any issues with available display configuration options, but post 8.3 I have one small, yet annoying bug.... PhysX is no longer available (the option is darkened out and can not be enabled). Warframe does not seem to be able to detect my card's ability to run PhysX at all anymore.
My PC:
AMD FX8350 @ 5.1 Ghz
32 GB (4x8) G.Skill DDR3-1866 @ 2133Mhz
Asus Sabertooth 990FFX Rev 2.0, BIOS up to date
2x OCZ SSD's in RAID0
2x EVGA OC'd and SC'd GTX680's in SLi
- Drivers: 9.18.13.2601
- NV Control Panel: 326.01
EVGA OC'd GTX650 dedicated PhysX
Windows 8.1, up to date
I also tried running PhysX off my 680's with no luck. I even tried disabling SLi and running everything off 1 card, no luck.
As I said before, priot to 8.3 I never had an issue, and I have no issues in any other game I've tried lately.
-
I have 2 GTX680's in SLi and a dedicated GTX650 for physx. post 8.3 Warframe wont recognize my physx card. I even tried running physx off a 680, but the option is still darkened out
-
Net protocol of this game suck balls. It's not about 8.1, that was always.
I agree it has always been an issue, but I never had such a issue with it until 8.1, I am not suggesting that the net issues are new... just worse now
-
Disagree with this. This bosses should be exlusive for defence missions.
What I am suggesting is a boss every 10 waves, and the boss would not drop bp's, only crafting mats. Being endless, having an exclusive boss wouldn't really work unless the added quite a few, which isn't a realistic request.

I think it would be cool if all the enemies in the wave targeted the pod like normal, but the miniboss targeted the players

Why are the graphics constantly being nerfed in this game? Physx Effects in 7.0 looked so much better than they do in 17.9
With the exception of cloth physics and pbr the graphics have been gowing backwards.
Why not add new visual effect teirs for very high and ultra, for those of us who have gaming rigs capable of it. I miss the eye candy.
