  1. Rhino? I find it so much easier to cheese through most missions with Loki's RD and Nova's MP. They all line up in a conga line to be shot in the head with a bow for the former. I suppose you just have issues with certain players who don't really know what they're doing yet. MR ≠ actual game experience. I personally use Rhino just for Infested to avoid the cheap toxic and energy drain. There are also other players who use the frame and weapon that you abhor so much but can still hold their own in missions. Maybe next time you see one of these people shouting that they're low on ammo, introduce them to the mutation mods or god forbid, the ammo restores. I play solo almost exclusively so I can't say I know how you feel but yeah, good luck in dealing with them.

  2. Players: The game is too easy! No end game content! I can facetank all enemies!

DE: Here, have enemies that can one shot you no matter how well geared you are!

Players: But that is not challenging at all! They still die in one hit!

DE: Fine, now you have to gimp yourself and fight in a bounce house!

Players: We still have our abilities you know...

    Next event:

DE: Alright, here comes enemies with Dispel aura! All your Tenno powers are useless and you can only fight with a conclave rating of 100! Now you can't say the game is too ea...... guys? Anybody?

In other news, I finally got Pointed Wind so everything's k.

  3. It depends on your UAC settings.

The launcher update goes into your Windows firewall settings and updates them to work with Warframe's new ports. If you turned off UAC alerts or are presently the administrator of your computer and run the launcher as an administrator by default, you won't be asked for a password.

Some systems require an administrator password before they allow any changes to the firewall or system settings.

Thanks, that cleared some things up.

  4. I see it as a very, very minor inconvenience as of right now.

If they then decide to ask for our passwords to authenticate, then I would probably be a bit more aware of it (and maybe a bit more cautious too).

It's not an inconvenience or anything, as it happened only ONCE during the update for 14.2. Which was unusual, at least for me. However what's more weird was the absence of a password prompt from the launcher despite being explicitly stated in staff post.

  5. The extractors only recover health when they are collected and is in the inventory, as in not deployed. No additional damage will be inflicted upon it when it finishes extracting, so you can leave it for as long as you want without collecting it. I've not monitored it to see how does the damage mechanics work but it's usually near the end of the extraction period that you will see any damage it received.

  6. I'd buy all of them, except maybe the Tenka. Don't fit the image of a Syandana, imo. However I think some of these will have horrible clipping issues in game as well as a bad case of Syandana seizure, haha.

  7. It's a general rule that if you look for it, it'll never come. The harder you want it the more you'll be frustrated that it won't drop. Whenever I do 2-3 Void runs and don't get what I want I usually just stop there. And on other times I keep running it and get 5 of the same thing in a row till I literally just drop everything and walk away. So done.

  8. Just take their battle pay and don't run any mission on the DS afterwards. I don't care about the conflicts personally but those that  want easy creds can just run for the alliance offering the highest pay, no one is going to judge. I mean we can just have someone build a rail and leave it there for everyone to use without the need of fighting over it and benefit everyone but where's the fun in that right?

  9. Right now it seems to get 25% of my weapon kills. One odd thing is it gets full challenge exp (+5000,etc) and doesn't appear in the end of missions screen in the Liset. Running DS Defense with a Sunika if it matters. This is going to take forever to level lol.

Edit: I did a run of Grineer survival and it got about 90% of my main weapon exp. Don't think it killed a whole lot on its own so... no idea what's going on anymore.

  10. Sorry but the cooldown makes sense. Kubrows are a more combat powerful companion and as such come with disadvantages because they are actual living creatures. I'm fine with the cooldown. Maybe shorten it by an hour but over all if you can't wait 3 hours or prepare yourself ahead of time for when you need your kubrow then don't bother with kubrows.

You try being prepared to run a marathon after being put on ice for a while. They need time to recover.

Please don't bring real life comparisons into this. If they ever intended for it to be that way they wouldn't include a function to speed up the process by paying plats. So if I give the runner $10 suddenly he'll be able to run the marathon immediately? I don't think so. This is just a game. No need for realism here that serves only to annoy people.

Why can't people grasp the concept of switching between the Kubrows regularly for different purposes? Yeah, I'll go ahead and prepare ahead of time and let out my Sunika for that Capture alert that will appear tomorrow when I play. Well this can totally be settled by not using them and stick to sentinels instead. I'm sure DE would love the fact that one of the features they worked hard on releasing is not being used at all out of sheer annoyance.

  11. Change the way DNA degradation works and remove the need for the recovery. Why punish others because some are too cheap to buy injectors and would rather abuse the system to avoid it. I change sentinels all the time for different missions. Don't see why I shouldn't do the same for Kubrows.

  12. Actually, no. The sites will not be removed. They will get a notification with the question if they would remove the content. Blocking the site for other countries is impossible without the other country their support. And that would take a long time. Most they could do would be to block the sites in japan. For now at least. We will be safe for a while longer then just a month. Though that depends if your fave site will cooperate and remove the content.

But most of the sites are where we non-native fans get our fix. Do the Japanese fans even visit sites like Mangareader etc?

Man, if only there were better alternatives for people outside the States. Wouldn't mind paying at all if I could actually get them. I imagine RAWs would be harder to come by now as the crack down harder on piracy.
