  1. I've been saying the same thing EvilChaosKnight mentioned. If DE would just use a % instead of a number, for both ammo replen and procs, a lot of these issues wouldn't exist. There's no reason the Glaxion needs to eat through ammo like that. I mean really, replenishing 1200 or whatever ammo at 20 rounds per pickup?

I do like the overheat you mentioned. I think a lot of the corpus energy-based weapons would benefit from soemthing like recharging energy packs and give a new type of play style. They already have this somewhat with the replenishing archwing ammo system.

  2. I like to play with my graphics at a fairly dark setting, but because of the flashlight not being toggleable, I can't really see too well in many areas, forcing me to set it brighter. My flashlight has a mind of it's own.

Instead of simply making the flashlight toggleable, why don't we add something new and more ninja?

I'm proposing 2 new types of vision, that are scrolled through with a button. Both will have their advantages and disadvantages.

    Thermal Vision

Heat sources (allies, enemies, and other devices) are highly visible, perfect for holding points and/or sniping, but has little means of seeing details in terrain, making it hard to use while moving.

    Night Vision

Ability to see very well in dark areas, but is useless in light.

If you got any more ideas for types of sight, go ahead! I think "Vision 2.0" would be a nice addition to the Year of Quality.

Thermal Vision? Night Vision? What do you think we are, some kinda cyber ninja death machines.....oh, right!

Bloody hell yes, we need this! Thermal vision would be make all the points I pour into punch-through actually useful for sniping and such. A defense mission with a thermal sniper setup would be an amazing new type of support for the team.

I mean freakin' seriously...we're wall-running super kill machines feared throughout the galaxy. We can fly around in space, destroy entire armies, deflect bullets with swords, and one single tenno is capable of taking down a fomorian. ....what's with the 99 cent wal-mart LED flashlight?

  3. Would you happen to have WAR #'s from these mission crashes?

    pBAJbHt.gif

    Known crash. Thank you!

I tried to send some in, but it kept saying it could not connect to the crash reporting server or something to that effect and no data was sent.

  4. It sounds like a bit of a prelude to "Hey, these are going to get WAY more rare." I've seen it happen a bunch of times in different areas. When open beta first started, R5 cores were the most common core drop...I remember using them very frivolously. I mean c'mon, I have over 80 cells sitting in storage without even trying for them...and that's after building every single cell-sucking prime weapon. So I can see them becoming a little more rare. That, of course, is all speculation, though.

I will agree with Overdose, that it seems VERY veteran focused. I have over 2 million alloy, and even with my insane crafting of health/energy restores, I still am over 1 million spores, and probably half a million salvage just piling up with no use. So, while I think the resource cost is still a tad high (C'mon, DE these rare resources aren't THAT rare), I don't mind having a sync for those unused material piles.

Also, people need to rope in their expectations. 100 plat is more than reasonable. That's the cost of buying 10 of the resources on the market, except you're gaining the ability to craft as many as you want, resources permitting, for basically the rest of time this game is running. Seems a more than reasonable plat cost.

  5. for me it dosn't really matter, i have a quit rate of almost 1,000 now, which is misleading. Of all the time i have played this game i have quit probably under 20 times. I always let it fail if i really can't do it. the other times are me testing stuff in game, or leaving because i hated the tilset i was given.

also, how do you get into that simulacrum again? i went to the the tenno relays but all i could find was teshin.

You buy access from Simaris with 50K rep. He's on the second floor of the relay near Darvo.

  6. The Simulacrum is really really fun. I was laughing my ! off as I tried to fight 20 level 50 Corrupted Bombard Eximus. That was so fun!

The problem is there is no way to quit. I don't see any kind of exit or option on the console aside from quitting through the Esc menu. Since it runs like a normal mission, every time I want to quit the Simulacrum, I need to "abort" the mission which goes into my personal stats as a mission abandonment. I check the number before and after in my profile, so now I can't use the awesome thing since I do care about my mission abandonment scores and such.

Also, on a non-bug note...I can't spawn 20 stalkers and fight them? C'mooooooon! I scanned him, I wanna spawn him! XD Pleeease?

  7. You can definitely expect to hear more of the trailer's type of music in a coming update.

Guess what? I've got a fever, and the only prescription is more war drums!

Seriously, though. The Sentients trailer is exactly the kind of epic music I love and expect for Warframe.

  8. I've never heard any for em have you?

    Speaking in pure stereotypes ONLY:

Nova will spam M-Prime and bring along plenty of energy restores to continue spamming M-Prime so that they can spam some more M-prime. Make sure M-Prime is at 50m+ in order to slow down the entire defense wave and maximize time spent in mission.

Limbo....I don't think I've ever run into a "good" limbo. He will use black energy and cataclysm so you can't see where he's placing it, and somehow think he's helping by trying to use cataclysm like snow globe over the defense target and force you to be unable to use anything but melee and point-black firing. Also, for good measure, make sure to banish that last remaining target at the end of the round to prolong it by 60 seconds.

Those stereotypes aside, I know plenty of novas that do far more than spam 4, and I've met several limbos that, while I question their general efficacy, they don't troll me or do their best to annoy the team. You were curious about sterotypes, though, so there they are.

  9. Only people from your own clan can put pigments into your research, as far as I'm aware. There's also an option to pause the pigment. You will lose the current ones, but you can start other colors if you wish.  Otherwise, I would get together with a zanuka hunting group to maximize your chances of him showing up. And remember that the more clan members in your squad, the more pigments drop. i.e 3 clan members in your party will drop 3 pigments.

  10. I admit, I struggle with killing him, especially the first time I played and Lotus was talking about the genetic code repair. Seems horrible to kill him, but at the same time I think about the points Nalkor raises about the grineer basically being bent on taking and killing everything. Gotta do that moral choice dilemma.

  11. I think everything but Vesper was scripted ... the following devstream they seemed genuinely upset & surprised that their PC test relay fell.

That being said - it was the first relay to be attacked immediately after the majority of players would have hit their 15th fomorian (15? 16? I don't remember exactly).

I know I didn't bother to run that one in particular since it was a low level mission & I had run outta spores by then! After it fell I went oops and got back on them!

Hehe, I don't think I watched this particular devstream, but don't forget they denied the existence of the stalker for nearly a year. Perhaps their acting has improved since then, though it's possible that they didn't realize that people might stop the monotony once they got their vandal.
