  1. Also, only the host uses a key so if you find someone else with keys you can share them, thus doubling your void access rate.

If playing with your friends and you find a key it is much more than double since you will each get a key, and therefore have a total of four void missions.

  2. I concur.

In it's current form, the game leaves nothing to chance once you have the materials to create something. This could be a fun system to keep improving your favorite weapons, or even frames for that matter. But I have to agree that leaving it to chance could be very frustrating to many players. If you work on weapon X for so many hour to get it to 30, then disassemble it/create a new item with no effect you are left with nothing for your effort.

  3. also, secondary weapons need to be one-handable for when you're carrying objectives (though I haven't tried any dual pistols yet. Do they just use one when youre carrying an objective, and use the stats for a 1-H version?)

Anyways, a bow needs two hands, so that's another reason it shouldn't be a secondary weapon imho

As far as I can tell, you use the animation for 1H, but stats are still for the dual wield. Magazine size stays they same, and fire rate appears the same. The objective just forces you to use your secondary.

  4. As a HEMA-fan i'd love to see this happen..

Although they might not fit the fluidity of combat in general.

A rapier lacks the mass to do much but inflict crippling injuries with slashes mainly killing by stabbing, rendering the kills visually unimpressive.

unless the devs add artery spray.. (hey, it worked in american ninja, so it must be real, right?)

    Offtopic:

A proper longsword wouldnt hurt either.

dissapointed with the caveman club called the Gram.

Example of a longsword flourish to give some idea of what using a longsword might look like.. (not me in the vid)

(by no means perfect, but gives an idea)

I love the idea of both the rapier and the longsword. I think that both could add another set of interesting animations and gameplay possibilities.

Also, as long as the weapon is viable and desired, a unique set of animations should not be a problem. The glaive is a good example, it is both viable and desired and so was worth the effort needed to make a new set of animations. No one is suggesting eliminating the spear/polearm in favor of the rapier, just potentially adding another element to the game.

  5. That might depend on the spear. I'll give you that spears are designed for poking one target, but would you really limit yourself if you could swing it in another way? They weren't all 10+ feet long.

  6. don't talk boggus guys, platinum is CHEAPER in those founder packages. just go and do the math, it's cheaper to buy grand master then it is to buy the same ammount in platinum.

concerning upgrades, you only get what you did not get already. if you have the excal prime already, you won't get another one. upgrade pages is a bit bad on the infos though.

It's cheaper in the founder package, but the total platinum it provides is the number for each level. So upgrading from Hunter to Master only provides an additional 770 plat the Skana Prime, and the Design Council for the $50 upgrade. If all you want is the platinum right now, you get 1000 for your $50.

Edit: I think we said the same thing.
