  1. This has been killing me mentally and physically. Over the past week, I have been getting crashes in-game. This is a system crash or a halt. It is not a crash which is handled by the bug reporter since the system halts and no dumpfile is made. Instead, just a buzzing noise comes out of my headphones.

I isolated this crash to be only ingame in warframe(ship or otherwise). I stress tested my GPU on Furmark for 1 hour, with nominal temps, and I used Prime95 on my computer to test my CPU, which also had temps under the system cut-off. It is not the ram. I have tested that as well. To my knowledge, it is not a hardware issue, and it is only effected in Warframe, so not a driver issue to my knowledge as well. It is not(!) power draw. My PSU is well over the recommended amounted needed, at 850W.

I have tried everything, including a: registry clean, I optimized my cache, and I verified it, I also reinstalled the game completely on a different hard drive. I have changed settings in-game, and yes, PhysX is not enabled.

Thank you for any insight you can offer on this, as I have exhausted my knowledge on what to do.

My Specs are as follows(if it helps):

    I7 3770k
    16Gb DDR3
    GTX 980Ti
A Samsung 850 Pro and 3 Seagate Hard drives

  2. This is really strange.

    I OC'd my 3770k to 4.7GHz, stable at 20c, no load.

Windows 10 has increased the max core clock to 5.2GHz(although stable so far), and the temps go way up.

The multiplier(or scale, I forgot)i in my BIOS is set to 47.

No one else has had this happen to them. I searched it up on google, and many other forums.

    Wat do?

  3. With those "suggestions",(I will use that term lightly. They sound like demands) it would make the game worse in every way imaginable. When you say PC players feel entitled, what is this? How many hours have you actually put in the game for you to deduce these things? Never tell a person how to act or feel in a video game. That's just being an asshat.

  4. Dear DE,

I would like to take a moment to thank all of you, on behalf, from what I can assume, the whole community. (I guess some people don't want to say thank you)

You guys work hard long into the night, beyond the normal work hours, to deliver us infinitely creative content.

I remember over a year ago when U14 was at the deadline. You guys worked all the way through the night, just to push that update. We as a community are extremely lucky to have a group of developers like you. The realest, down to earth developers.

Thanking you is the least I could do. Godspeed, DE.

  5. When people who know nothing about something and try to explain it.

There are many reasons why Console Developers(sony/Microsoft/Nintendo?) went with AMD because of their APUS, which has unified memory. It would be very inefficient(and will cost more) to try to make a Console with dedicated graphics card.

So "and is cheaper" can be valid, but not as much as they think.

    Also Nvidia has proprietary S#&$.

If you are wondering, yes I own a nvidia graphics card. The past 4 were Nvidia, although when HBM2 comes out I will be going with AMD.

  6. The only reason it would be the cable is if you were running 4k@60HZ. Unless you have HDMI 2.0. I believe the 760 has HDMI 2.0 capabilities. The monitor may include dual-link DVI, which has enough bandwidth to run 4K@60HZ.

(sorry if I get this wrong, I am going off of what I remember.)

    EDIT: HDMI 2.0 not 1.2
