  1. What kind of 2 Factor system did I just sign up for?  Will I receive e-mail when I attempt to log in?  Text messages?

I'd prefer FIDO, since hardware tokens are cheap ($6) and also protect your Google, Dropbox, and Box accounts.  They're sufficiently cheap that I should buy a few spares… just in case my house burns down or something.  Another option is Yubico OTP in challenge-response mode, which doesn't (necessarily…) require out-of-band proof of user presence, but has the benefit of being a plug-and-forget solution.

    Also, I desperately want a special-edition Yubi-void-key.  :D

  2.

I cant log in, cant connect to server (XBOX ONE Account)

Me either, but I'm a PCMR Tenno, and have never once been able to log in.  It always says,

    Login failed; could not

    connect to server

  3. I wanted a Strun Wraith for the lightning-fast reloads.  :(

I also wanted one because my DPS check kept bouncing, but I have other solutions to that.  I still want a nicely-behaved, tight-choked shotgun with solid damage that doesn't leave me with my pants down for five seconds at a go.  I enjoyed the hell out of my SWraith for the brief time I had it before the nerf, but now I'm seriously thinking about going back to my Strun.

    Roll back some nerfs, please.

  4. Probably cumulative across the squad. 4 revives, 4 players, 16 total.

Though I will say that managing to use 16 revives vs. the G3 is a bit impressive, given their capture thing.

    That.

We had some earlier drops that we wanted to hang onto, so we had to go through them to get to extraction.

And the first two went down like trees before tanks.  The third one glitched out very badly.

  5. Very simply, at the cost of sixteen revives, the Grustaag Three were finally defeated in a no-shields nightmare, after spawning twice in a row.

No items, mods, or credit was received at the end of the run in spite of our victory.

Furthermore, one of the Three teleported outside of the map, and we had to run halfway across the level to cause him to respawn inside the area we could fire upon.

Trouble ticket was submitted on December 14th, posting now in the correct spot for follow-up.

  7. I have an even better idea, though it's a long shot.

Can you guys get together with Yubiko and build me a void key that'll actually unlock my Gmail account?

(That said, the Neo is probably the more future-proof architecture to base any promo merch on; unlike Blizzard authenticators, they won't be killed in ten years by a dead battery, and I bloody well plan on still being playing Warframe then!)

(Second aside - whether or not this gets made, could you consider implementing either FIDO or one of the other secure hardware login standards in the launcher?  Plugging a void key - no matter how metaphorical - into my computer to bypass typing a 64-character random password would be really awesome!)

  8. Same problem.  Please help.

Seriously, my total score is over 800, my buddies are over 600 and 400 respectively, and we can't get our phosphorescent killsticks.  :(

  9. Honestly, I've blown a five-pack of (magnetic) Penta grenades on the Jackal, and … scraped off 15% of his shields.

Then I walk up with the Wraith Vipers, unload one mag, and … well, he went down within the second.  Brakk and Seer can both also do more single-shot damage than the Penta.

Stol3n, that's exactly the sort of thing I was imagining.  Mostly because suicide-bomber mode is totally a dumb function 99% or more of the time.  :-/

  10. The only delay is the weapon-switch animation, which is short - and which can be eliminated.

Also, when switching from a longarm to a sword, I'd like to see the gun simply dropped, to hang by a sling.  It's the sort of little detail that always throws me about the animation; currently, the gun just teleports to a storage position on your back, but it's retrieved by hand.

  11. I agree with Izaatuw, the weapon is designed to fire with the gernades following a quadratic formula, changing it so it fires in a linear pattern is not something it really needs.

No linear flight path here, just impact fuzing.  The tail fins are purely cosmetic; they're there to explain why the flying bricks that are Penta grenades don't tumble and suffer some extremely erratic flight paths.

  12. Also, it adds the amusing possibility of pistol whipping - and figuring out how much impact damage a Lato does when you smack someone over the head with it.

And yes, I think you've got exactly the sort of matrix gunfu wuxia stuff I'm imagining here.  Run with it!  :D

My example:  Roll into melee.  Run someone through with your sword.  Kick him - a good old fashioned Greek gastration, or gut-kick (or, aim a little lower, and turn it into a castration!), to remove him from your blade.  Then, while the poor sap is staggering back, open his mind with a couple rounds from your sidearm.  Brutal - but quick and practical.
