  1. Sorry, I stated shattered lash, but what I meant to say was its interaction with Vitrify and Splinter Shield (EG, the reason you even use Gara aka UNLIMITED DAMAGE).  Did you test it on your splinter shield?  I'd be very interested to know what I was doing wrong, but no matter what I did, no amount of crit (over 100% guarantee with riven) would change the value of how much damage gets absorbed.

  2. Hopefully people scroll to the second page and see this guide is either outdated or wrong.  Most predominantly: almost everything about the incarnons.  If you came here looking for the perfect stat stick for Gara, the Crit Chance bonus on the ceramic dagger incarnon DOES NOT apply to Gara's Shatter Lash.  Save yourselve some grief, kuva, and/or plat trying to chase that fallacy.

  3. Wow, the elitism of this thread is nauseating and the exact opposite mentality that has made Warframe great. The Warframe community has set itself apart from the rest of the industry due to the collaborative and helpful nature of veterans or experienced players.

I'm more than happy to carry and entire team of inexperienced players through even the most difficult of content. And let's be real, any veteran player will have absolutely no issue doing so on any alert or mission on the start map (Tridelon is the only exception). It boggles my mind to think that a few low level randoms taxied to your mission would have a tangible enough impact on completion to warrant taking the time to even write this drivel up.

There are plenty of other games where you can foster this elitist culture, but check that S#&$ at the door when coming in here.

  4. I reached my riven cap, and I don't want to fork over the plat for rivens I'm never going to use.  I just don't know what to do with them.  I'd transmute them if I could, but I guess you can't...  Selling seems like a waste, as does dissolving, though lesser so.

Is there a market for junk rivens?  If so, what's the going rate?  If not, what does one do with them...?

  5. I'm looking for something to do high damage spin attacks like what the Telos Boltace was used for.  I'm looking mainly for something that does a full sphere AoE like the TB used to do.  I'm not expecting there to be some huge-range, guaranteed slash-proc type weapon out there, but something that can damage trash mobs behind/above/below instead of just in front.  Is there any other weapon like that out there?

  6. Oh brother, let's be real, kids.  It's a 7% increase to crit chance, and a 5% increase to status chance.  That's barely an improvement.  The decrease to Heat damage is so negligible, I don't even consider it.  And the magazine size has never been an obstacle for this weapon to begin with.  Compare that to, say, the Dera...  "Twice the CRIT!", 33% more Crit damage, 33% bigger magazine size, 50% higher status chance, and ~50% more base damage.  THAT'S something to celebrate.  It took a lackluster weapon and made it usable.  The ignis has never been lackluster, and perhaps therein lies the problem.  Buffing it too much could make it OP, which is why we ended up with an almost pointless addition to our arsenals.  The Supra is a good weapon, and now we're possibly facing the exact same scenario.  I don't want to see another mismanaged, ill-conceived grindfest for what ultimately amounts to another pointless addition to the arsenal.

    que the contrarians

    ...and it begins.

The Ignis Wraith is 'bad' (notice the quotes?) because it's hardly an improvement to the original.  Compared to the other variant weapons, the Ignis Wraith is easily the worst 'upgrade'.  And that's not even going into the fiasco about obtaining the weapon in the first place.  But I know you guys know this without me having to explain it to you, so I'll let you argue inanely about it for another 3 pages.

  8. Saw some chatter about the Supra Vandal coming out when the new Tribute rifle drops.  I used to get excited about these as Prisma/Vandal/Wraith weapons have always been superior to their counterparts.  But then they released the catastrophe that is the Ignis Wraith (que the contrarians), and now my faith has wavered.  So I appeal to DE, please don't make another useless entry into the arsenal.

That is all.  Have a good day.

In spain it´s called "Euphona Prime". I didn´t found anything suitable as an translation so i think it is a new prime (only) secondary pistol, like the dakra prime.

It's a shotgun, and has the special characteristic of being able to switch between tight shots or wide spreads.

The purpose of weapons or other equipment is not to just get mastery for them, that's why it's not the most relevant icon to show on every screen that the weapon is present in.

You can see the weapons you "mastered" on your Profile or on Codex. If you would spend like 5 hours on this game, it would not be necessary to see that everywhere.

Enter the clinical contrarian.  Thanks for being the first stereotype to post.  But honestly, why bother posting at all?  You've got nothing substantive to contribute, so is it just narcissism?

It would be nice to know what level of mastery an item is without having to search the codex.

I would settle for just the wreath - but the level of mastery would be cool, too.  Odds are, though, if you haven't Lv30'd it, or if you've Forma'd it, you probably still own it, so that might be a little redundant as you'd get the "1 owned" icon or whatever.  But I'll take any kind of indication that I've owned or leveled it, tbh.

  11. I played WF pretty heavily two years ago, but took a long break (over 800 days, my clanmates tell me).  Upon returning, I was overwhelmed by all the new content and mechanical changes, but surprised to see certain annoyances still persist after so long; specifically, the Mastery Icon.  When you master a frame, weapon, ect., you get a little wreath (for lack of better term) that indicates you've taken it to Lv30 at least once.  However, it only appears on certain screens, such as the Profile screen.  There is no indication of progress made on a piece of equipment on the Market, Arsenal, or Foundry screen.

Since the only way to level up your player mastery is through taking never-mastered equipment and mastering them, I would think this would be an important icon to display all the time, especially on screens where you can spend money or resources to acquire them.  Coming back, it's been a real challenge figuring out where I've been and where I need to go, and navigating deep into submenus to find out is getting pretty tedious pretty fast.

Can we get the mastery icon on all screens, please?

  12. Yeah, the catalyst rewards have gotten dismally low.  They give one away per month as a Gift of the Lotus alert.  They used to have them in Invasions, but I haven't seen one in there for months.

DE doesn't realize that being stingy with them actually hurts sales.  When they handed them out more frequently, I found myself visiting the shop to buy them more often as well.  Having a steady supply of free potatoes relieves the weight of buying them.  What's 20p here and there when DE pays it back, right?  Plus, when you have cheap access to them, you come to rely on them and makes you want to use them more often.

But now that they virtually stopped giving them away, the weight of the purchases have taken their toll, and I know I'm not spending another plat on one until I start seeing more in alerts and invasions.

  13. Complaining about a PUG?  PUGs will always be PUGs.  You're going to have your inexperienced, your lazy, and your illegitimate (alt account only there to double up on event mods for plat selling), and you're better off if you expect to be matched up with at least one of them.

If you want an experienced, coordinated squad, start an invite-only group and only invite the people you want.

  14. From what I understand, mobs spawn two rooms away from where they were killed, and will not spawn in a room where a tenno is located.  Hallways are considered "rooms".  This is why when you're playing with other players and you're all in different rooms killing mobs that they seem to take forever to spawn.  That is because they are having to spawn in impractical areas and chase you down from across the level.  The rule of thumb is if you want fast spawns, find a cluster of small rooms and camp one of them.  The mobs will spawn closer and take less time to get to you.
