  1. Ontop of finishing my weeb show, I finished the movie for the weeb show.

    >~<

K, here's an APC for motivation:

    And I'm out, night LPW.

  2. Unfortunately this kind of challenge isn't really a possibility with the horde mind AI we have. To create a real challenge we need to improve AI, not take away or limit game systems like nullifiers and most other strong units. The predictable nature of the AI we have means that they are easy to exploit, I was hoping that the minibosses (Shadow/stalker, G3, Zanuka, Lynx, Sprag/Venkra Tel, Bursas (which haven't returned yet), Manic/bombard, Juggernaut/behemoth) would invest in AI and provide this extra challenge but instead even these AI are hive mind in nature, it would have been better to wipe 10 AI from the screen and give those resources to these minibosses to make them interesting and unique IMO. Even many bosses are disappointing in how simple the AI are, e.g. Tyl regor, the oversized manic.

  3. A fan of the PSP games. Haven't tried em on other consoles, it pretty much looked like they added infinite boost in the later series. The PSP versions required boost tapping, which isn't hard to do. Combat seems to be same paced as they are in the console versions.

AC4/A made thruster boost infinite, only jet pack and overthruster required energy, however it is also the same pool energy weapons draw from so you had to be careful to set up your NEXT the right way. My favourite setup in 4A was a modified white glint with two swords a sniper shoulder and the rest of the AC was purely thrusters. It was a fragile unit, BUT you only take damage if you get hit, which my white glint setup had approx 2.5x the speed of the next fastest unit. In fact it was so quick only 3 of the targetting systems in game could lock onto it. However no projectile could hit it at mid to long range (AC4/A doesn't have hitscan weapons).

ACV basically removed jump packs, I think there are some high end parts that can still be used for moderate thrust, but the lowest end jump pack in 4A has greater vertical thrust then the highest end one in V, which I found disgusting. I think eebus mentioned that thrust was no longer limited to a pool in V/VD, but honestly with the right reactor you never had to worry about it in 4A (unless you used assault armor, which is basically a panic button anyway, assault armor created a field that dealt 100k damage and negates any damage entering the field, but also completely drained your reactor level and put it offline for 5 seconds).

  4. How long has it been since you played AC3? Cause I played it a few months ago (and I can play it the moment I get home) and it is nowhere near the speed of 4/4A.

I did import my stuff, but to be fair my previous save from V was garbage. I was a tetrapod with dual gatling guns and I didn't invest in boosters or anything (I was younger and a lot more stupid).

I last played AC3 years ago, but it has the thrusters that AC4 has, the only things AC4 added were: larger environments, assault armor (white glint chassis only), always on slide boosters (instead of walking), and the overthruster (can't remember the exact name, that's what I call it). And the obvious graphics upgrade. 3 isn't much slower than 4 (untill you factor in the overthruster and high end booster packs), and it's about the same speed as V in terms of movement before thrusters, thrusters in 3 were faster than V.

You can see that 3 wasn't really that slow, even with this setup which isn't the most powerful either.

  5. Nerfing Gpull makes no sense to me, it already takes up a mod slot, and it's not powerful as it is now that it only affects the individual. Also in the technical side, magnetism is affected by range, not barriers.

  6. The previous games were slow paced (when you compare with these versions), much more slow than Verdict Day. In Verdict Day, the boosters are almost always on and have no effect on the energy reading, whereas before it was leg movements and those weren't that fast. You and I both know that I'm not referring to AC4/4A.

Verdict Day isn't always about cover, hell I have never used cover in Verdict Day unless I'm trying to get my bearings or get another read on the target. I use High boost and regular boost in order to keep moving.

AC3 was just as fast paced as 4/4A And if the earlier versions were slower it was probably because of technical limitations of the hardware more than anything. ACV was snails pace compared to 4A, and due to the swarming nature of the enemies it meant cover was pretty much the only option until you could get more powerful parts for your mech. I wouldn't say VD would have been much faster but if it was anything like 4A you could import your existing mechs and that would give the impression of starting with speed. I had to start VD with a default unit because I never bought V knowing it was only a prologue, starting VD with a default unit was hell.

  7. It wasn´t randomized. I just used only Valentine colors.

That's one of the randomization colour schemes though :P

For some reason in warframe the randomization button seems to group colours together.

  8. I'd just like to add to this. The squads available number is in fact functioning now, it got fixed a while back, however, it counts squads in general, not squads you can connect to.

This means that these are the number of squads the game will try to connect you to, and if you have incompatible connections you still wont be able to connect to the squads shown.

Also this counts squads from the time you first opened the star chart, it doesn't refresh until you exit and re enter the starchart and once the game decides "the objective has been completed" (which can happen a third of the way through a mission) then you can no longer connect to them anyway.

  9. There's no information in the wiki of it inheriting any mods from your melee weapon. It appears only Exalted Blade and Slash Dash do this

That's correct. Only EB and SD inherit melee mods. And even then, only select melee mods. Radial javelin is only affected by power range, power strength and power efficiency.

  10. That's a FromSoft thing. Never give out the full storyline and leave some things vague.

The previous games were not fast paced. It was slow-medium paced.

AC4/A were fast paced. AC3 was fast paced. Haven't played the others in a loooooooooooong time. But they weren't slow paced, AC is about dodging enemy attacks while landing your own, it's not about taking cover.

How is that slow paced? also the person in the video is using a four legged walker NEXT. IE the slowest in the game, it's a tank NEXT. Actually that's not the best example since the person is sorta cowardly engaging for the most part.

    This is a better example:

  11. I want to punch the throats of everyone who regularly ends questions with periods

    why's that.

It's not the religion, it's thr follower.

Religious doctrine is to recruit more to the religion. It is to state that there religion is the only true religion and any other beliefs are false. Only exception being buddhism which teaches to respect others beliefs as well. So it is in fact the religion telling the followers.

  12. Not necessarily. It could have very easily been constructed in space; capture a bunch of asteroids, mine the crap out of them with robots, smelt the metal and beams for the structure...

Not only that, but keep in mind that in Star Wars, even the more basic ships have gravity generators even if they don't have hyperdrives.

Also, keep in mind the third movie, where there was a second Death Star that was only partially built; it wasn't built on the ground and launched into space, it was actively being built in zero gravity (and not necessarily the orbit of a planet either).

The Death Star is a ship after all. It's got hyperdrives. It could decide to drop out in empty space outside of solar systems to do maintenance if it wanted to.

I highly doubt the deathstar was constructed by small pieces, take the scale and individual panels would be roughly 30-300 metres in length.

And even if you were to mine an asteroid for metals, those metals have to be forged into parts at a manufacturing plant at some point. And I'm pretty sure there's no manufacturing plant inside the deathstar.

Look at the Ceres shipyards in warframe, they aren't really realistic when it comes to actual manufacturing but you get the idea. These parts had to be manufactured and that means leaving orbit.

Manufacturing in space is highly impractical for a number of reasons (radiation affecting compositions, far more difficult to provide a stable source of energy, problems with gravitation (which assuming you could theoretically provide artificial gravity the energy cost of both the artificial gravity and manufacturing requirements would be absolutely ludicrously high). Even sci fi doesn't have plot armour thick enough to make this theory work.

  13. And then, a man asked a fellow soldier.

"Why has the world war 3 began, after all?"

    The fellow soldier answers.

"Some guys were discussing fruits and colors."

Pfftt. Wars have started over lesser things.

Case in point religion, arguing over each others imaginary friend.

  14. Its grineer so accuracy = 1% at all distances.

    How bout now

That sounds about right considering all the broken things you gotta due to even stay ive in sorties

Unmodded damage so mpre like 1k

1% accuracy is not even remotely accurate, and then you're forgetting spread and the fact shotguns don't have damage fall off anymore.

Also there's nothing broken about what you have to do to stay alive in sorties. It's all about being prepared. You can cheese some missions, but you don't need to if you're properly prepared for the mission at hand. I play sorties with pugs, and I've only ever failed a spy sortie, and that was due to hurr durr rhino rush.
