  1. They do, but Corpus isn't really... Militaristic. Besides that, there's already Valkyr, and Vauban has a sort of Corpus feel to him too.

    true, also grineer remind me of SC Marines and that wouldnt be too bad of a look for him.

  2. Loki's Radial Disarm is not just an EMP, the power itself explicitly says that he uses a wave of "energy" to disrupt enemy weapons... In Warframe, energy typically means void power. Also, watch his casting animation for it- that's another reason in itself that I could suggest its void power.

     

    I have to disagree here too. Sure, the dash itself could be considered a non-power, but then you have to remember he also forms a Skana out of thin air, and made purely of energy... For Radial Blind, he doesn't use any visible form of flashbang or anything, he just raises his melee in the air and BOOM, flash of light. 

     

    I'm not trying to shoot down your idea or anything (unintended pun), as it's something I think could really add to the game and that others might like- I just personally think it would be a bit... boring, at least for me. I wouldn't mind having someone play this in a team with me, but I would never be the person to play it... Just the same as I never play Vauban, as much as I love having one on my team. 

     

    On a side note, perhaps not military themed, but rather Grineer themed?

    i should have been clearer, i know that radial blind/disarm use void energy, i was giving examples of ways to do the same thing without void energy.

     

    also he could be grineer themed. but i was thinking corpus, the drone and wire shot have a more corpus feel to them.

  4. When I think of military warframe I think of CoD, which involve Air Strike Javelin Missle, Drone and.... Captain Price.  None of it have to do with Warframe power

    i thought about doing the jav missile strike, but decided instead (because it would function just like Hydroids Barrage) on the mono-molecular wire net. and this does have a drone. i agree that it doenst use Warframe power like Ember or Frost or Limbo. but its more inline with Vauban. also think of it this way, he uses void energy NOT as a weapon it self, but as a way to have an infinite supply of grenades, wire shot canisters, and drones. and really excals radial blind is just a flash bang grenade, slash dash could be done by overcharging the suits leg servos, and the super jump? same thing. only void power he has is radial javelin. so theres another frame (Vauban, Loki, Excal, Mesa, Valkyr) that doesnt mass use void energy to do amazing things. 

  5. Haha, except that all of nanosuit power is toggle and linked.

    increased strength (super jump on ecal) armor (rhino iro skin) and invis (loki). the crysis nano suit doesnt DO much compared to a warframe, but compared to a normal human, yes its freakin awesome.

  6. As it stands most Warframe's follow a theme, Mesa is a Cowgirl, Saryn has her poisons, Rhino is a well Rhino. Excalibur is the Medieval Knight. But there is no Offensive or Leader type Military Warframe (Vauban is Military but Defensive). So I present my take one what a Military Spec Op (Military Special Operator) Warframe might be able to do.

     

    Fragmentation Grenade

    First Ability: Lobs a Frag Grenade with high chances of dealing slash and puncture procs.

    Explanation: Damage and Slash Proc Damage are affected by Power Strength. Area of Effect and Throw Range are affected by Power Range. Proc Chance is Affected by nothing and is a set value.

     

    The Slash Proc Damage Stat is a percentage multiplier of the base multiplier for slash damage ticks. Slash Procs deal 35% of the Weapon/Powers base damage so at Rank 3 this would deal (200% x 35%) or (2 x .35) 70% of the weapon/powers base damage so it would deal 70% of 200 which is 140 damge per tick (7 ticks in 6 seconds, bypassing armor and resistances) for a grand total of 980 bleed damage. And it also applies the Puncture Proc Effect causing enemies to deal 30% less damage for 6 seconds.

     

     

    Stern Leadership

    Second Ability: Emits an aura that increases allied fire rate and reload speed.

    Explanation: Fire Rate, Reload Speed, and Recoil Reduction are affected by Power Strength, Area of Effect is affected by Power Range and Duration is affected by Power Duration.

     

    Pretty straight forward buff that gives all allies increased fire effectiveness instead of a damage boost.

     

    Mono-Molecular Wire Shot

    Third Ability: After a brief (.65 seconds) delay launch a Mono-Molecular Wire Net that slows enemies hit by it.

    Explanation: Damage and Slow Percent are affected by Power Strength. Slow Duration is affected by Power Duration. Area of Effect Net Size and Area of Effect Distance are affected by Power Range. Net Size is the distance from the center that the Net expands to. So .75m from the center up, down, left, and right, gives it a 1.5m width and height.
     
    Chain shot is a concept that has been around for centuries. A Net made of Chain is loaded into a cannon and fired. The Net opens as it flies and causes absolute carnage amongst those hit by it. This is a Tenno version of that same ability, but instead of using Chain it uses Wire that is only a single molecule think, allowing it to cut through enemies like a red hot knife threw melted butter. Nasty.
     
     

    Combat Drone

    Fourth  Ability: Release a single Combat Drone to assist in combat. The Drone is capable of following the Warframe around. The Drone can be targeted by enemy fire.

    Power Cost 15 per second (Cannot gain energy from energy siphon, team energy restore)

    Reload speed 2.3 seconds (Does not Change)

    Status Chance 20% (Increases based on Power Strength)

    Engagement Range 20m (Increases with Power Range) 

     

     

    Advanced Targeting

    The Drone has advanced targeting computers, increasing its accuracy at longer ranged by 35% (less spread, unaffected by power bonuses) 

     

    Anti-Missile System

    The Drone can shoot down incoming non-hitscan projectiles. Fires a laser that neutralizes a projectile once every 4.5 seconds. (affected by Power Duration inversely, so a 33% INCREASE in duration would DECREASE the 4.5 seconds to 3 seconds)

    Conclusion: A unique Warframe with serious late-game potential and a potent mix of offensive, defensive, and support abilities. I believe this would be a balanced and enjoyable Warframe.
