There is a sword, a dagger or polearm that I have seen. You could have any one of those. I think there are at least 3 variations of the puzzle.

Noob question and don't mean to derail but, how do I "join warp"? I have the ability just don't know exactly how to use it.

You need to construct it off of an empty portal or dead-end. It's not there until you build it. If you dont have enough room then you may need to add a long hallway before you put it into place.

Also, MR28 has only been obtainable since The Old Blood. Correct me if I'm wrong.
So that is what makes it special.

Just curious cause someone in game last night said that he had just gotten his 6th same weapon. My comment to that was "I'd quit.".

Have you acquired them from Larvings using a variety of frame types (Wisp = Heat etc)? I assume that the different weapon element types will provide different lich's.

I does seem like too much but at least it's not running the same map over and over until rng luck.

I did it anyway and it wasn't just time consuming and nerve racking but I did get a weapon (kuva quartakk). Now the problem. I can't get another Lich to spawn to start another round. Are these limited to one?
Edit: ok after many runs I did get it to spawn a new target so off I go. Thanks.

I was thinking Ivara would be next. It's sorta male>female>male ...but sometimes the double male or female. I don't know why they skipped Atlas. So yeah Atlas may be next.
