  1. Telos Gram or Galatine, please no Boltace.

In regards to others, I don't think any of the Syndicate melee's should be dual sword or longsword. Theres way to many of both those categories.

Sparring, Machete, Nikana, Whips, Glaives, Hammers, Gunblades. Fair bit to choose from.

  2. I would love the idea of making Oberon a less healer based support, and more a tank/buff support frame. Being able to taunt, buff allies with hallowed ground etc.

Like for example. enemies hit by Smite are forced to attack Oberon for x amount of seconds. Enemies that are hallowed are staggered. Allies that are hallowed will receive increased shield regen.

Hallowed ground as a whole is a pretty good skill, I personally just don't like the way it's placed, maybe a cone to cover more ground, or a AoE around Oberon himself? In addition enemies and allies that have made contact with the carpet are marked, Hallowed, if you will. Enemies that are Hallowed will suffer additional effects from his abilities, while allies will receive additional benefits.

Renewal, instead of a HoT, it places a buff on Oberon and friends, healing them for a percentage of the damage they deal, this bonus is further increased against enemies inside of Hallowed Ground and/or Hallowed, allies that are hallowed deal increased damage.

Reckoning honestly is alright, but for the sake of consistency, it would function as per normal, but enemies that are Hallowed take additional damage, and when slammed by the end of the ability, send out a shockwave of Radiation damage.

And as far as a passive goes, perhaps a rejuvenation esque passive? The closer you are to Oberon, the stronger the rejuvenation effect?

However, being that his name sake is the King of Fairies, there is a great deal of mythos behind that character that people could fish for ideas from. Such as add a blind, maybe a confusion of sorts etc.

  3. Telos Galatine or Gram (Not the Boltace. PLease no Boltace)

    Rakta Karyst or Ether Reaper

    Synoid Obex or Ninkondi

    Securo Serro or Lecta

    Vaykor Jat Kittag or Halikar

    Sancti Nikana or Tonbo/Tipedo

Use some of the more lesser known or unsaturated melee weapons. Too many longswords and dualswords.

  4. Are there plans for Syndicate melee weapons? And just to poke your brains, what would you like to see for each Syndicate?

Personally I could see the following:

Arbiters of Hexis: Telos Galatine. I feel it suits the arbiters logo, but considering we JUST got a new heavy blade. Perhaps a Telos Nikana? That being said the New Loka and Red Veil have just as strong a claim to the Nikana IMO.

Cephalon Suda: Synoid Ankyros. Honestly just pulled this one off the top of my head.

The Perrin Sequence: Secura Serro. Already a Prova variant, and this is another Corpus melee weapon.

Red Veil: Ratka Ether Reaper. Because there needs to be a good scythe.

Steel Meridian: Vaykor Halikar. Just kinda picked a uncommon grineer weapon. Not gonna argue with a Jat Kittag though :)

New Loka:  Sancti Redeemer. Or perhaps a pair of daggers.

    What do you guys think?

  5. Now, being a primarily melee player, I do have to disagree with some of your points. Mind you, I don't speak for anyone else but myself in this regard.

On spamming your melee button, someone already stated this, but E spam (or whatever button your melee is bound to) gives melee a bad name, but any melee player will advocate that combos bring amazing utility and damage modifiers into play.

For example, the backwards combo for Tempo Royale that boasts a 500% damage increase! That being said, I don't just cram my mouse button when conducting my combos, I click when I need to, albeit this can be difficult with some weapons/stances at max zerker stacks, but with practice can be done.

Also, I do not think that anyone is pigeon holed into going zerker builds. As status builds are actually really strong. My nikondi, with 98% status chance melts 100+mobs.

In all honesty, I rarely utilize FULL crit builds (Zerker, Organ Shatter, True Steel) as I think if a weapon has at least 10% crit chance, you can substitute zerker for fury. Especially if the weapon's stance has tons of multihit combos, take the Mios/Lacera for example.

Vice versa, if the weapon has under 10% crit chance, or has very methodical combos, I will opt to use Fury instead, as it's a more reliable attack speed mod at this point.

Just because a weapon has a good base crit chance, doesn't mean you MUST BUILD FULL CRIT for the weapon, it's an option.

  6. Hey, I am interested in joining a fairly active clan, and you guys seem to fit the bill! Been playing Warframe off for quite a long time now, but haven't really got into it like I have been until recently. I usually play a little bit during the week, as I work full time, but the weekends I'm on quite a bit. Currently MR8 is that is important, and looking to try end game content, albeit there is quite a bit of the game I am learning still but would rather do it with a friendly and active clan.
