Vauban's Vortex: Cancels explosions?

I have firstly noticed this a few weeks back after I built my Glaive prime. I went to a defense mission with my vauban to level it up and i have noticed that the explosion(Stance) does not hurt the enemies while they are in vortex

Today my friend experienced the same thing while he was using his vauban and an Ogris. It seems the this only applies to the person who is using the vortex since i was able to kill the enemies with my vortex(We were on the same map)

 

I've actually encounter this as well after the U14 Update :/. My Ogris is just doing nothing to the creatures that got sucked into the vortex.
