  1. Really hard for me to justify buying this. A nice syandana that I do want, but I have Frost/Reaper/Latron. I'd also get the extractor, the plat, a wf slot, and 2 weapon slots, but just doesn't feel worth $60. I understand those saying "the plat is worth $50", but the plat being priced $50 doesn't mean it's worth $50.

Tbh this may be a good thing since it's made me realize that even though I do like the game and want to support it, the packages are just priced more than I feel they are worth, to the point that find I can only justify any of their prices by comparing them to the other packages' more inflated prices. I have the money, but I don't think I can feel good about spending it on this. Fortunately for DE, there seem to be plenty of people who do think their prices are worth paying.

I'm in this camp^. I don't expect them to change the current Vault Access package as I see it as a good value for new players that want to avoid the grind and get some shinny things, but I will be passing on this one as I personally don't see the value in it for myself.

If they were to offer an additional package containing the Misa, the Extractor and a reduced amount of platinum for say $30-35 USD I would be more likely to purchase it.

  2. I would definitely try the trade route first. I know I'll be trading a Tigris for a Simulor day 1. Then my second Tigris will get traded for the arbiters new primary and I'll keep the third for myself.

But you are correct, there does seem to be more left than right syndicate loyalty on PS4. You could always swap like I did. I wanted all 6 syandonas so I maxed the left plus red veil 1st and then maxed the right plus steel meridian. I may switch back at some point, who knows.

  3. Mirage you want a max range/max efficiency build. Natural Talent is a must IMO for Prism. Duration does matter much as you'll be popping Prism very few seconds or so. You can pretty much keep on lock down.

    This^

I have been running Mirage a ton lately in the Raids and I think I have found a happy medium with efficiency and survival.

As previously mentioned above I spam the disco ball constantly. IMO this is a must as some players seem to want to kill things even after being asked to only kill if you are taking a lot damage. This ensures newly spawned enemies are blind and reduces the chances of them damaging your teammates.

I don't run with the same group ever so I cant depend on everything going perfectly or as smooth as an organized group runs the raid. I will use large energy restores if the trinity is not up to snuff or if a lack of enemies causes an issue. You can even run the bomb if need be.

    My build is as follows:

All mods maxed - 3 forma

Aura - Corrosive Projection, - polarity

    Quick Thinking, D polarity

    Natural Talent

    Stretch

    Overextended

    Primed Flow, - polarity

    Primed Continuity, V polarity

    Fleeting Expertise, - polarity

    Vitality, D polarity

Exilus Slot - Handspring or whatever else I feel like using at the time. There are 11 points available for this mod slot.

This build comes from my experience in LOR with mirage and your mileage may very.

  4. Rapid Resilience works surprisingly well on Mesa. If you don't have a way to heal, it's better than Vitality if you're worried about slash/toxin procs.

The extra 27% Power Strength granted from ranking up your BR gives you only ~12.5% more damage... not worth the efficiency loss, imo. I'd stick to Rank 2.

I tried Rapid Resilience and didn't really care for it. Maybe I'll give it another try. I just use Vaykor Marlok or life strike  if I need healing.

As far as the BR level goes, this is the build I kept going back to for general play. It suits my play style and I don't find that I need the extra time in PM. As insignificant as the damage increase may seem, I don't really have a need to change it all that often unless its a specific mission type.

I find her to be a versatile frame and she can be modded to suit various play styles and situations. I just hope if DE decides she needs to be changed that she retains that versatility.

  5. My all purpose build for Mesa is 4 Forma:

    Aura - Corrosive Projection

    All Maxed

    Fleeting Expertise

    Transient Fortitude

    Streamline

    Primed Flow

    Primed Continuity

Vitality - (I hate bleed procs)

    Narrow Minded

    R5 - Blind Rage

This build allows you to pop (SG for 50 sec,+52.3% dam), then (SS for 41.6 sec,95% dam reduction), and then go into (PM for 37.5 sec, +418% dam) from a full 425 energy pool. This build ensures that you cant get caught in PM without SS unless you are picking up energy while in PM.

I usually stay moving with her, but if you want to turret longer you can just drop the Blind Rage to R2 and you are back to 75% eff. I think it gets you about 25.5 more sec of PM and less damage obviously.

I have other builds (max damage, max duration), but this is the one I use most often when running her.

I also agree with the comments above about the Sahasa.

  6. Any update from a Developer would be greatly appreciated.

I had 4 of 6 syndicates maxed and I recently switched from Ceph/Arbiters to Loka/Perrin.

Since the update notes said we wouldn't have to sacrifice again I let Steel Meridian slip one rank to 4. Now it is prompting me for a sacrifice to get back to level 5. If I would have known this was the case I would have simply run some Red Veil and not let it drop.

  7. Add me to the list of PS4 users having issues as of the Sep 18th for me. I have been playing for months without issue and all of the sudden I am getting port warning messages. I followed all the info I could find. I forwarded TCP and UDP ports appropriately, even tried DMZ and still getting errors. I am on a 30mb down 5mb up connection and everything else is functioning properly. Nat is Type 2 = Open.

As of 9/21/2014 I have stopped getting the Port error messages when accessing the planetary map but all weekend I would start an alert, join a lobby and then when at the start of the load screen would be kicked and get the message session not available or something like that. Then the alert disappears. I missed all the alerts this weekend except the ones I did Solo to avoid the errors.

This same behavior is happening when joining any lobby, not just alerts. I was joining multiple T1-T4 voids and the host would have to invite me again after the rest of the party was in game because I was getting kicked.
