Yeah people can be awful... But I think the majority would be happy, and we would certainly be happy with a few buffs! :p

Just leave our gear as is. I got my whole set formaed the way I want (which is not optimal at all according to random ppls spreadsheets) and I pug all day long, handle t3 and long ods/whatever just fine
Would cause way too much drama
We get buffs to our weapons to make them more competitive, and non-founders have access to weapons that behave exactly the same so that they don't feel they are missing out. Where's the drama coming from?

I'd be down for them making "Variants" into skins for weapons.
Strun Wraith as a shotgun skin, Braton Vandal as a rifle skin, etc, etc.
Means less outdated-but-rare items clogging weapon slots too.
Seeing as these weapons came with a free slot you don't save anything there. It's quite nice having an individual weapon just for the sake of it and having the ability to mod/forma it differently if desired.

I think, for some reason, people will now want these weapons even more, now that they do good damage.
But they will only be cosmetically different?

Link Founder weapons' stats to similar prime weapons.
For example, Skana prime is linked to Dakra stats-wise by DE; they perform identically (skana copies dakra stats).
This way Founder's get a nicely buffed Skana Prime, non-founders don't miss out on any alternative gameplay a founder's weapon could offer as the Dakra behaves exactly the same.
In essence this makes Founder's items PURELY COSMETIC.
Obviously Lato Prime doesn't currently have a suitable prime analogue, so DE would have to release one.
This is pretty much already the case with Excalibur Prime, apart from that negligible shield recharge increase.
What say you?

Emmm... no.
I have all the primes. Cosmetic only please; people should not be forced to farm the farm to get more powerful versions.
IMO all weapons and frames should be side-grades; we should be able to choose what we want to use purely because we want to use them, not because a DPS chart tells us that we have to.
The effort you are putting in to get primes is rewarded aesthetically. If you don't think that that is worth it, then don't farm primes.

As with primes, take first letter off and add "p" for primes, "w" for wraith, "v" for vandal. Sometimes keep first letter after the prefix if it sounds better.
So: Wipers.

Well Boar Prime has crazy raw DPS, highest in the game right now.

I agree. I have boat loads of plat from my founder's pack and really really don't need another truck load. There won't be many founders who have managed to spend all of theirs.
It would be nice to have the option of buying just the exclusives without the plat. I wouldn't mind pay a bit over the odds for something that pretty much comes as free just to sweeten the already great platinum discount that the packs offer.

Happens on every vault run today for me (around 20 runs or more). Restarting made no difference.

Yes. Please. I try to hit the "play now" button, but all too often the game gets stuck trying to connect before telling me "session unavailable" and zooming me out again... this often chains.

Scott's suggestions were very underwhelming and quite worrying. Yours are much more fun and potentially make excal more viable despite the incoming radial blind nerf.
