Neat. A weapon worse than the Skana. Didn't even know it got booted from the market.
-
Sorry but I don't want a team of Excals fresh from the pod with Mk-1's. The only time I get picky about frames and weapons, are long T3/4 Defenses and Survivals. And at that point,it does become, "My Key, My Rules."
-
Well because what was done was against the rules. It doesn't matter if everyone has a chance to break the rules. It doesn't negate that a rule was broken.
Against the rules?! What? They ENCOURAGED us to go as far as we can.
"by completing more missions, you will encounter more difficult hives and more difficult enemies! These difficulty increases will allow you to yield higher points in a single run, with endless potential if you want to compete in Clan Leaderboards."Please read, Endless potential. (Until you hit a bug)

Unless the key is a super secondary Laser weapon, I don't think I would care enough about by this point.
-
Four 40 minute survivals says otherwise from my view. The least they could do is remove keys and cores from the tables.
-
And you all are just noticing this now..?
I hope not.
-
Unreal.
This is what got hyped up for months? I think would have rather seen the system that got "scrapped". No matter how much you polish crap, it's still crap. I remember when DE didn't shoot for such lofty goals and didn't break something with every single update. Logged in last time today.
OH WAIT IT'S A BETA RIGHT? NEVER MIND THEN
-
Awesome, Warbros Number One is #1 in the event.
Worked our butts, off good win guys.
-
One more thing to add, why didn't they just score moon tier clans the way they did like in one of the past events? Where the score was averaged between number of members and their respective score? I thought that system worked wonderfully.
-
Y'all know this could have been easily avoided if there wasn't hard cap on scores?
Mind blowing isn't it.
-
Classic.
First time I ran it I got 700 something points on my first run with randoms.
I ran the harder mission with A friend as Loki and Frost pair and got 1500 points and said, "Thats it?"
Third time I put on my try-hard pants and got 2436 so,
Yes, it is still too easy.

So I have a maxed out Fortitude mod (20% chance to resist knockdown 80% Shield recharge). What the mod does, is when, say a Shield Lancer, charges at you knock you down, you have a chance to block it. Well, when this does trigger, I can not use my melee weapon anymore. I can't block, and I can't attack. I am also invincible to being knocked down. However, I still take damage from Heavy unit AOE's and the shield lancer shield bash, I just don't get knocked over.
In case if it matters, I was using the Lecta with a maxed Melee Channel mod, and the weapon was charged, from the melee channel
-
Try turning off Direct X on the launcher. That seemed to work for at least 1 mission
-
Yay I'm not the only one. These missions are completely unplayable to me. It just sends me to the generic Hardware failure link and finally my desktop told me my video driver stopped responding and then recovered. It's every mission now, I don't know if it's a specific room or not.
-
Considering the fact that this event is based entirely on the RNG and not how hard a clan works, I don't think anyone gives a chit...just sayin.
How in God's name is this event based on RNG. Don't give me "O2 tanks are rare" as an excuse. They drop like candy from everything.

Were talking about how -HHH is a based hero for holding off the german clan gunning for top spots.
Oh and Sneakus

The randomness of the game makes it so that speedrunning is essentially pointless because times cannot be compared since nothing is ever the same. So ultimately it just boils down to who has the most free time to rush through things with the fastest warframes/loadouts over and over and over again until your eyes bleed.
No, it's not on a smaller scale. They're not even comparable.
So I guess every room you enter is a mystery to you. When you play the game long enough you practically know what room is coming up next.
-
Never said that.
Rhino with Vanguard helmet and speed mods with Iron skin can just rush past everything without a single care. Tag a volt into that team for extra laughs.
then specify next time. You said Iron Skin, which equates to the skill used by the Warframe, Rhino, with his base helmet being as slow as molasses
-
Iron skin.
Another answer is sliding.
But your not Rhino, you Volt or Loki, and there you go. You answered the question for you
-
Speed running games like Zelda and Mario = Mastery of game mechanics and memorizing every minute detail of what would usually end up being a game that would take weeks to beat.
Speed running in Warframe = Take the fastest frame. Put speed mods on it. Take a volt for kicks. Run past everything without shooting.
Where's the skill in that? Do tell.
Avoiding the lasers silly
-
I hate it when the bodies explode into more than one body. Slows down the frames a bit.
-
I want to burn through more ammo please. I want to able to clear a room without lifting my finger :(

You read my mind. I had this idea in my head but I was trying to refine it. Realistically, It would work. There are points on sentinels that go unused, so why not? I feel like, if there was some kind of lore added to sentinels, like, how did they get there? What exactly do they do? Do they themselves interface with Lotus and therefore an extension of her?
New Players--
It would be tough on them because we are forcing them to use something to get an added bonus. That being said, What if in the trailer when Excal wakes up and falls on his face on the floor, a very BASIC Heavily Orokin-esque influenced Sentinel flies down to greet you, Lotus. It would add something to Lore and make them something other than, oh its a robot that replenishes my shields and shoots dakka. DETHCUBE I'M LOOKING AT YOU.
This basic Sentinel could have some rather basic powers for HELPING, a new player get through some levels.
Lockpick - Helps the Tenno solve the Lockdown console. Has a relatively high fail rate until you level it up. It moves the squares around for a few* seconds, if it doesn't solve it itself, you step in to take over.
Target Mark - Shoots a laser (FOR NO DAMAGE) that highlights an enemy and you can deal a LITTLE extra damage. Subsequent rank ups increases its range and bonus damage. I'm not talking Sonar levels of damage but would highlight his entire body similar to Sonar, but as a trade off, less extra damage.
Plenty - While on the topic of lasers, It shoots a laser at a container that may or may not include some extra resources, HP, Energy, Affinity. Increasing Rank lowers the fail rate.
When the Sentinel dies, you lose the aura. It only makes sense. You have to have trade-offs for this kind of thing. You can't just ask for 30% extra rifle damage for nothing. I sacrifice some warframe powers for this boost. I learned to cope with this system.
The weapon would be tricky, probably something in between Wyrm and Shades' weapon. Just nothing too strong.
Just a thought, I personally like it because 1) it adds some lore. 2) It gives it more utility, which is the entire point of them. 3) it reduces the stress put on frame points. most of my frames simply don't have room for the Aura. While I appreciate trying to break the usual molds for slotting powers, most people here have played long enough to have just the right amount of mod points in their frame. So my 2 cents, I was going to make a thread about this myself but of course, I saw this.

I wish people would stop asking for event exclusives, especially the Braton/Lato Vandal.
You missed it, get over it. I missed some stuff, big deal. It's not tearing me up inside. Mastery Rank isn't relevant past 8 anyway.
