  1. Hello!

    Encountered 2 bugs during the segment after Teshin says something along the lines of, "Good thing so and so slept on the right side of the cradle." or something similar.

    Although, I'd bet that they could be replicated.

    #1 During the 'loading' transition with the floating isles and the hand monument. During the last few seconds of the countdown I was bullet jumping and ledge-grabbing to the secondary rope fence directly up from the starting point. I assume I hit that at the exact time it was going to pull me into the extractor mission, but it didn't. I was stuck in the loading area with a waypoint way 2.3k ish meters in the distance. /unstuck just sent me back to the starting location of the loading zone. -Had to restart mission.

     

    #2 During the same mission, after killing 45 enemies in the same tile-set, I was told to go to a chest in the middle of a field. It required a hacking-styled minigame to open. I ran out of time trying to get used to the controls and it spawned 3 enemies I had to kill in order to, I assume, give the chest another go. After killing said enemies, I was unable to open the chest. No prompt to retry, no "X to open", nothing. I tried flying out of the quest marked zone, flying further to try to de-render it, tried unstuck just in case, still nothing. -Had to restart mission.

  2. Hey everyone, 

    I used to play Warframe avidly until my laptop broke down about a year and a half ago ish.. (I was able to participate in Tyl Regor's event before it died)

    And recently I've been able to start building a pc, I've just ordered my first piece on a pretty restrictive budget that may take me a couple months to be able to get all the pieces;but in the mean time I was going to go through patch notes and Dev streams to be able to see what I should dive into when I return!

    I was wondering what would be a good first toe dip into the pool? 

    I still have yet to do the major lore quests. I wanted to ask around and see where I should start. 

    Anyways, I'm really excited to be returning after I can build this computer.

  3. I think I see what you're saying as far as pushing said place holder, sort of like a QTE sort of thing as I imagine it? Which is fine I think, I've seen a few forum posts occasionally about OTE's for Ash and so on.

     

    Though I think the re-cast to continue killing would be clunky, as well as having the player hit two keys, multiple times, for a single ability to work. Which, not trying to sound lazy or anything but I don't know, I doesn't sound... thrilling? Ya' know?

     

    I don't know I think I may be over thinking it.

    Unless we took what you said and it was placed on different keys, as you said *-*

    Meaning, 4 to cast initially, say left mouse click to stab stab on an enemy, as soon as it is dead, right click for teleport to next target, whether be cross-hair or auto is debatable.

  4. Thanks Koga, I do agree in a HuD system and health bars, but I'm not sure about the E pressing. I'm sure my E key would eventually fall off. I mean I can just imagine the little (I use little as general term not condescending in anyway) Ashers mashing E until their fingers bleed just to pull off and extra kill or two.

     

    The way I see it is pressing a button, whether once or multiple times (even in a pattern to pull off kills) is not interactive. Sure we can throw other buttons rather then E to get more in there, but really in the end I don't think ( at least for the way I play) it would make myself or any other player feel more like a ninja in the way DE is trying to go as with Movement 2.0 and such. I don't know. Like I said it's just my thoughts. I know I kinda want to feel like a Bada** and accomplish more then hammering on the E key like many do already for melee attacking.

     

    Or it could be just my definition of interaction is different. In all honesty I don't even feel that Excal's ulti is interactive just because all you're doing is mashing a key. I mean really if we were to look at it I'd prefer just a press 4 and forget rather then mashing because it is less wear on the keyboard. And I would assume that's where the idea of use a more innovative way like stated above would be beneficial because you do get that added interaction of, "Hell yeah did you see me jumping from enemy to enemy down the hallway" Or getting props for cleaning out a room in a more manual fashion then what is currently present.  

    I think overall it would be more rewarding in that sense.

  5. As far as OP, I mean really in full spectrum you will be hitting less enemies sure, there's no need for clones if this was how it was done.

    Now, with hitting less enemies, because lets be honest, most of us don't have access that would allow us to hit all these enemies in a sealed room sorta thing. The damage numbers already are pretty big, especially if you are also running Aura. But I think that the damage could scale with the last couple seconds of ultimate time.

    As far as slow, I mean, I play Ash I tihnk it was 75% of the time. And I haven't really known it to be slow..

     

    Murasume, the way I've tried to put it isn't a challenge at all, it's having fun in killing the way I picture it, I mean It's not complicated at all, literally press 4 on target jump to them, turn left click on next target, and so on.

     

    A quote from a friend that reviewed this just a bit ago "bouncing from shoulder to shoulder with some stabby in between,
    allows you to focus on higher priority targets. Less like a god, more like an actual f****** ninja."


     

  6. Okay okay okay, let me rephrase when I say pause. Think more the lines of playing a dangerous game of leap frog. Bouncing from one enemy to another, in quick succession if groups of enemies are lined up or in an area where you can quickly turn to stab them in the neck, say long hallways, around corners etc. So take Ash's blade storm and quick-succession leap frog together. Not Broken or mindless, and still not a pain to use. In my opinion.

     

    Also, armedpoop, sure it's not broken per-say but I agree with some that the unforgiving number 4 smasher needs to be put down, or at least have it snipped.

  7. Alrighty so, after watching Dev. Stream 60 and hearing of the wondrous Mesa ult... fix? (It's welcomed on my part) I had an idea I don't know if this is what was being developed, if at all, for Ash's BladeStorm.

     

    Anyways, It is kind of piggy-backing off of the what Mesa's ult may come out to be but pretty much instead of Press 4 and away you go, in the spree of neck slashing and back prodding, you press 4 and do the same animations except you pause briefly at every kill, and in that pause you get, what I imagined what Mesa's ult will look like, to choose another target and so on and so forth. Now, as the duration decreases the FOV will decrease as well, limiting your sight on next opponent. This IS NOT a fixed view, meaning you can rotate your camera and such, but the "cross-hair" on which you pin your next target will have to be more accurate if you want to get to it.

     

    So what that would look like (sorry I have no actual visuals) is that whenever Ash would do the attack when he is up on the shoulders, you would sit there, turn both ways to see if traffic is coming, spot your next target, execute with a kidney stab, and pause, repeat and so on.

     

    Any Ideas, add-ons and such are appreciated if constructive.

    Anyways, My name is Ookami, most of the time people call me Kami for short. Uhh right now I'm attending college for Network Administrations and soon after for 3D art and animation.

    My IGN is OokamiDamashi, as seen above, I'm mastery 19 and have been a proud supporter of D.E. for 2 years and 4 months.

    My favorite movie is.. hmm.. well I have quite a few, but I really enjoy thrillers and psychological horrors. My favorite food is home made Onigiri, not so sure about fandoms sorry :P and other games I play are Don't Starve Together, Kerbal Space Program, Smite, and so on.

  9. So I am currently in a mission of Archwing Interception and on the last enemy of wave 4, he is glitched.

    Invisible, and when struck by melee flashes red but after 5 min of wailing on him will not die.

    In the end we tried a Host Migration and it insta-kill it.

    Our Host was Carla93, she should be properly rewarded with the Elytron Systems and XP, if D.E. sees this.
