  1. Wanted to level these lovely Talons, was skulking around as an Ivara but noticed the enemy kept hearing me when I threw them.

Afterwards added the silencer mod and they couldn't hear me as you would expect. A loki with Hushed Invisibility also silenced them (as you would expect).

Easily repeatable and I'm guessing unintentional.

  2. 1. A parkour mod that, rather than increasing the duration of aim gliding, inverts gravity during aimglide.

    2. For the corpus tilesets to have the occasional terminal instead of locker where all things typically available from the lockers can be bought for credits, at highly inflated prices of course. They are corpus after all, they sell to their enemies even when their enemies are stealing from them.

    3. For many levels in the grineer and corpus maps, especially deceptions and spy missions, to have non-combat staff / maintenance / administrators walking about.

    4. For us to be able to craft fieldron samples and detonite baubles into high yield, 100% status chance grenades, accessible though a hotkey.

    5. For a special nightmare mode only available in multiplayer where all friendly fire and self damage is on for Tenno and enemy. In essence everyone is permanently rad procced, without the enemy purposefully attacking itself.

    6. To change Ash's teleport animations so that rather than looking like he is teleporting- he is actually just sprinting faster than your eye can physically see.

    7. For clan dojos to sometimes be hit and need internal defense from clumps of errant infestation- at the permission of the clan and for some kind of reward of course. I think designing maps can be quite fun- especially when you care about the state of the map afterwards ^_^

  3. So I like PvP but I don't *love* it. Its a breath of fresh air every so often.

But not lately for me. After acquiring every mod that Teshin sells and two of the top tier sigils, standing with him has become a little redundant for me (I have plenty of plat and try to avoid trading wherever I can).

Any chance we could have a consumable given by him? Specters maybe? The Tenno equivalent of a Blunt for defense missions? Clones of Teshin? Fusion cores? Key packs? Combi Energy+Health+Shield pads that have no construction blueprint?

You know, just, anything vaguely relevant to anything else that is a consumable to keep me coming back. Its a pity letting the daily challenges pass me by. But I just don't feel the need to bother with them without the standing going towards something. I can, after all, spend time instead on the daily syndicate and simaris business whose consumables I do always need more of.

    Just a suggestion ;)

  4. Sometimes I like to go out to battle not just wearing a syndicates sigil but coloured appropriately too.

Thing is, I'm not quite sure what the syndicates colours actually are. The banners they have on the syndicates tab are quite clear but then their weapons are completely different and frequently their operatives are coloured differently again.

    Perrin for example:

Banner / Relay implies: Primary colour = Dark blue, Secondary = Medium blue, Energy = Medium blue

Weapons default colours: Primary = Light Grey, Secondary = Dark blue, Energy = Orange

Operative dress implies: Primary = Light Grey, Secondary = Dark Grey, Tertiary = White

So if I want people to know today I am ALL about the Perrin- should I be primarily Light grey or Dark blue? Similarily with Arbiters they are Monochrome Black / Grey / White but their weapons are Dark Teal, with almost Cadmium Yellow energy colour.

Do the syndicates have "Official" colours? Anyone know where I can get a list?

  5. I think you can predict most of them pretty accurately actually assuming they don't want 3 variants of a single weapon (though I admit the Telos Boltor calls that into question)

Meridian, being Grineer rebels would appreciate the irony of using the Atterax on their loyal brethren but because Perrin are likely to have the Lecta (Ill get to that) and I doubt we will see two new whips in a single update, the Ack and Brunt being the only icon of both Grineeriness and defense (remember Meridian are primarily "Sworn protectors" and thier keypack used to be 5x TIV Defense) -I'd expect it to be that. Might also boost sales of the "Nightwatch" skin for the A&B too so makes business sense too.

Arbiters seem to be all about the Bolts and there's nothing more boltaic in CC than the Boltace so thats a done deal.

Suda seems to be copying (and improving) Simaris so we will have to wait and see, but expect it to be a pure magnetic melee weapon.

Perrin have a choice of Obex, Lecta, Serro, Prova and Plasma sword. The Prova already has a variant, the Serro was never intended as a weapon, the plasma sword is unpopular (though that didnt stop the sancti castanas) as are the Obex. We however have seen the new corpus units actually using the Lecta and I imagine thats setting the flavor up for a Perrin equivalent. Just a hunch though.

Red Veil will obviously do a Tenno-esque dagger. Given the Karyst is a weapon built specifically for assassins "was once the blade of an exclusive order of Tenno assassins", and furthermore deals pure poison damage which fits with the flavor of the augments "Toxic Blight" and "Eroding blight"- I cant believe it wouldn't be the Karyst.

New Loka meanwhile would be likely to use the only weapon/s in the game that evoke the environment from earth- namely the Nami Skyla or Nami Solo. We have wayyyyy too many dual swords and Machetes are apparently the typical blade you bring for travelling through a dense jungle- for instance, the berserk overgrowth of Earths jungles. So I would expect the Nami Solo. Which I think is a pity because while I think the Solo is indeed a beautiful weapon, I just *hate* Machetes, from the half second pause before each swing to the lack of knockdown on their small slam attacks. Maybe a rework of them will come first though. Heres hoping!

  6. So I've been trying to get SOMETHING useful from Chroma in PvP. Have found this one oddity that fellow PvPers may be interested in trying:

Poison in PvP is heavily nerfed because it ignores shields and is very effective against the flesh (+50%) and ferrite (+25%) that makes up tenno health.

Poison Chroma therefore has a very weak breath attack that is largely unusable. However DE seems to have overlooked the fixed amount of damage (per second) stored up and dealt by the augment Afterburn, a weapon that has a very fast projectile speed and a small splash radius.

    - The attack will only work on motivated assailants- but try bullet driving into the air, going into a slide on the way down (so you don't get the sticky landing animation) while activating spectral scream (the breath attack).

    - The second or so it will have charged in the air means when you land will give you a good 100/150ish damage (+modifiers for tenno vulnerabilities) allowing you to 1 shot any attacker that didn't also leap into the air.

    - It's not what I would call "competitive" and it doesn't work on anyone trying to run away from you- but I find its energy-cost effective, fun, and a great way of getting "Focused Void Painter". Maybe something you might like to try if you feel you need a change of frame.

  7. So I now have every mod for PvP and have all but maxed out my standing with Teshin. Much as it's nice to spar with my fello Tenno, I'd like not to feel like I'm "wasting" the standing I get with Teshin now.

I would like to see Teshin sell consumables, specifically Tenno Specters (Vapor ones at least), or possibly even Clem clones! Keypacks like the Syndicates do would work for me as well.

Alternatively Trading 2.0 so I can more easily find those seeking PvP mods would do, but I gather DE isn't 100% clear on what they want to do with trading yet, despite huge demand for a better system, so I feel asking for this is a little redundant.

  8. So you were playing 1v1, the other guy wanted to farm xp and yo wanted to fight. You should just quit that game and join another. Because clearly if you stay there, you wouldn't get a good fight and the other guy wouldn't get his xp. Lose-lose for both of you.

Well that's exactly what happened- he got bored of sputtering and quit, others joined and I had some good matches, I'd just like for him not to be angry that I'm not "helping him" farm, or would at least like to deprive him of the ability to express that to me.

While i agree with whats stopping people form just wandering around and elongating the battle for no reason just to get Xp. I could hide in a vent with one Cephalon and move every now and then, shooting anyone who come in from the one tunnel leading in

Just to be clear I'm not saying remove objective rewards- just tone them down to a 50% bonus or so if you're the winner. CtC, 10mins, 1.5k for winning team, 1k for loosing team- that sort of thing.

In such a case, yes, you could hold out for a stalemate but if you're skillful enough to kill everyone who comes for you, you are hurting yourself by camping because clearly you could win. For the record though, from my experience, camping does not often end well for the campers in this game. I've only ever met about 3 and none of them did well. Warframe powers are very good at breaking up entrenched positions.

  9. In PVP tensions run high and I appreciate that will cause some players to feel like they need to express thier anger through pm'ing abuse.

But earlier I was in a 1v1 against a Volt Prime and he began throwing language at me because I was wasting time fighting him and not helping him farm XP.This kinda irritated me as I don't appreciate being criticized for choosing to actually play the combat rather than farm xp. "Player versus Player"- it is in the name.

But it's something I sympathize with still- as the average skill level in PVP rises, its becoming quite difficult to farm 21k odd standing- because the better your opponents are- the harder they make it for you to gain standing your daily standing. That makes people angry (some more than others apparently).

I would like to see one of two things to fix this problem, either:

    Tie standing mainly (but not completely!) to time spent in conclave, rather than objectives completed. Introduce that with a short auto-disconnection-to-Liset for those trying to idle. This would;

    - Make high level CtC matches where scores are lower but action is incredibly intense, more rewarding than one sided games than finish quickly.

    - Reduce (though not remove) the xp/minute disparity between CtC, Team Annihilation and Deathmatch.

    - Severely reduce the reward gained from short one sided matches (this I think is actually quite a toxic problem).

    - Make life harder for those who try to idle through CtC (at the moment if they are randomly on the winning side they will be rewarded with 1.5kish standing for being a drag on their team).

    - Better equalize the XP gained by all players regardless of skill level, hopefully making it kinder to newer players.

Like I say it would need an aggressive and effective AFK monitor but I don't like feeling I'm wasting my time fighting people of my skill level or above- those are exactly the people I should be fighting!

People don't need much encouragement to fight each other and I'm not suggesting you remove objective rewards, so I don't think you would suddenly start seeing lots of "peace" servers either as the first person to try to capture / kill is rewarded.

However if that doesn't appeal, I'd simply appreciate the option to auto-ignore anyone im playing PvP with or have recently been playing PvP with. I really don't want criticism for trying to actually sharpen my skills for once.

  10. As soon as I start using it in a game I get smack talked for instagibbing people. lol

Well that's kinda why I feel it needs a nerf. Ultimately its the player experience that matters and if any weapon (though the Penta best demonstrates this) is making people feel so cheated they need to start smack talking, then by definition you have a problem, regardless of its actual balance.

Seriously, once Penta gets nerfed, we are going to be seeing a lot more pure Glaive users around. At the moment I use both and it's all the AoE I could ever want!

  11. A nerf certainly would work- remember the Simulor which with a +Projectile speed mod, is like a mag proccing penta (albeit with MUCH lower damage and explosion radius) isnt considered OP at all.

So tone the damage and AoE down and we should be fine. Nerf? Yes. Remove? Not at all. In fact I'd like to see the Ogris in soon. Too many smug Opticor users around...

  12. Ohhhhhh come on now its only marginally worse than exploding Glaives and dont forget you are never more than two facesplosions away from accidental suicide with the Penta so its not like its totally devoid of skill. But yeah you gotta wonder if DE actually test this stuff even briefly before releasing it.

Actually has anyone tried melee rushing penta users? They cant detonate at point blank or they will die faster than you if you block. Maybe I'll give that a go...

  13. I would like to take back the Glaive nerf part of this post having seen the Penta in action. Now I understand why the Glaive is so powerful, and now I have the Penta, I can do what it does to me only roughly three times as fast, while using full parkour too.

  14. I appreciate what people are saying about a lack of input but firstly keep in mind you don't have to play Mesa and there are other frames that do better than her on the defense (Frost) while requiring more input. You loose nothing by having more ways to play a game.

Secondly if her ultimate was a buff of any kind that would mean 3/4 abilities would become buffs with her first being the only ability that requires any thought beyond "Do I have energy for this buff"

This leads to my problem with Mirage- to play mirage, play normally only press 1 and 3 using 4 briefly if you get overwhelmed. It was very dull gameplay- it was like Rhino, a frame often slated for being too simple, only without even his charge or the satisfying "I'm going to kick the floor so hard timespace will fracture" ability.

If Mesa gameplay is also normal gun-play +keeping up enough energy for 3 buffs, then ill be pretty unhappy, ironically, for the exact reason this thread seems to have been started- because it will require too little player input! As has been mentioned before- no-one is forced to play her, people only ever choose to play her. So if you want to buff yourself then run around shooting things, consider trying Rhino, Mirage or Zephyr. All of them follow a pretty similar pattern of; apply buff, run and gun, tap 4 when things get out of hand.

Lots of frames buff, run and gun. I cant think of any other frame that can "turret" (though if Chromas pelt got better, longer ranged and more stable damage output then ill happily add him to that list). I think much of this would be solved if PeaceMaker was affected by range. Overextended would still allow you to dominate the map- but at a price...

  15. So after noticing Nyx Prime systems are worth 10D unconstructed but 50D constructed- ive begun furiously building them, because goodness knows I cant sell them for plat.

I notice, given thier 12 hour build times- they function like a kind of log in reward, which I think important to mention given I hear login rewards 2.0 are on the to do list.

I'm able to repetitively build them because I've been playing quite a long time now and I have, among many other things, over 8000 control modules. I'm never going to be shy of them- but at 95k ferrite and gear frequently requiring 5k ferrite per construction, I think if DE created more Ducat disparity between constructed and non-constructed prime gear then I may both have the satisfaction of burning through some of these late game resource excesses as well as reducing my need to farm ducats.

From what I gather, while many prime BPs have different constructed / non-constructed values (including Ember systems which perplexingly get *less* valuable once constructed) its only Nyx Prime Systems and Volt Prime Helmets which really benefit.

I'd like to see a disparity of at least 10 ducats across all prime BPs and hopefully more. I feel there is something very satisfying about picking up valuable gear from my foundry as well as emptying some of the huge stocks of more common resources that I cant even sell for credits. I notice as well, for me, it functions like a login reward almost too.

    Thank you

  16. There have been a couple of passes on some weapon sounds and I'm genuinely surprised the Cestra, Dual Cestra and Sechura Cestra haven't been treated to better audio.

Would like to request that they be given a new firing sound.

Have you ever taken home a bag of microwave popcorn? Because with their spin up time I nearly burst out laughing when I first fired them. I was expecting a more classic sci-fi laser staccato buzzing sound, not "Pop. Pop. Pop pop poppoppoppop..."

    Thank you.

  17. Can someone explain to me how Peacemaker differs from any other damage focused ultimate? Low levels all of them are overpowered, high levels all of them tail off (leaving their use to pure control effects if they had any). Mesa does it more efficiently than most I grant you but apart from that I really dont see how its any different to spamming Avalanche/Miasma/Radial Javelin/Overload (Bring on the volt rework!) etc.?

  18. I think peacemaker is fine as it is. Good low level, tails off at the higher levels when her other abilities begin to shine brighter. My only issue is that peacemaker requires me to hold the mouse button down. If it didn't and cost rather less energy then I could burn through my 60+ stack of T1Ds over a few quiet evenings reading a newspaper with some wine in hand. Bliss for me ^_^

  19. So when I originally made my dojo I was very new to the game and didnt know about the rotate room button.

I was also very keen so when I found out I made my Hall of Glory with the Loki facing the wrong way from the main entrance I decided to come back to it

Over a year later im now rennovating my dojo and that was #1 on the to do list. Cant delete the tile- had children tiles that would loose connection without it.

Made a teleporter system. Didnt help.

Went to some length to turn my dojo into a giant circuit. Remove on link in a loop and you still have a line right? Wrong apparently. Turns out the logic system for determining if a room would make others inaccessible is inexistent- its all done by which room was built off what.

Would like to request that every time I ask for a room to be destroyed- Warframe checks the spawn room then checks to see if any child room would be made inaccessible.

Have now completely deconstructed the upper floor of my dojo to fix the problem. Kind of meant to do that anyway so im not bitter, but I like to keep my dojo, even the areas for pure display, efficient and functional- Ive seen dojos that sprawl out quite randomly, and if someone wanted to change something they may potentially have a huge problem on their hands that a simple logic check could solve.

Sounds like a small thing but given most rooms take 12/24 hours to build we are potentially talking about literally weeks work of deconstruction and then reconstruction for some clans.

  20. Would like to make a vote of support for the idea of allowing us to quit at the post-match results screen rather than having to wait to load to the next lobby. A small but unnecessary step taken every match can get quite annoying.

Also I dont know if its intended but I'm getting 1-shotted by channeled thrown glaives. They seem to be notably more effective at range than some rifles, and have the added bonus of being very effective in close combat as well. DE seems to dislike 1-shots in PvP (see the history of Warframe Ultimate in PvP) and I know I certainly don't like them either so I'm confident asking them to be (mildly) nerfed.

Also since when did Saryns ultimate deal a toxin proc? That just me? I found that very confusing, surely it would be a blast of corrosion and a long stagger as similar to its behavior in PvE?

  21. Try using your melee as a utility rather than a main weapon.

Use any of the throwing weapons as underhand rocket launchers (Quick return + Power Throw), you'll find fury is largely a waste of time.

Likewise you can only ever get one finisher on knockdowned/staggered enemies, so if you use a Scindo Prime in a pure finisher build (I do a lot as it nicely complements gunplay) then while floor finishers are sped up which does help a bit, stealth finishers are unaffected- and in both cases attack speed is at best questionable.
