I wanted to point out that currently if you use Hysteria and hold aim (at least on PC) that the abilities immunity to damage stops and you pull out your gun. however to make matters worse during this time your energy is still draining as hysteria was not turned off. A friend of mine that is a VERY hardcore Valkyr main brought it to my attention due to his constant use of the block combo during hysteria and this bug posing a quite the issue for him.

  2. playing dark sector Defense in saturn and stalker shows up in a 3 man party. we kill him and the new nikana stance I wanted drops. we get to wave 5 to plan on leaving and it refuses to say wave cleared after killing every mob. Yes we scoured the whole map for nearly an hour looking for any mobs that might have lived. pretty pissed off that my one chance for the month in which the stalker actually shows up and the game decides to glitch out like this....

  3. I just found a bug while running some ODD on my Mirage.

     

    It would appear that the Angstrum and the Torid are sharing ammo. which seems odd since they're two different weapons using completely different projectiles.

  4. So I've found Zephyr to be a lot of fun and I enjoy her on earth... The problem is she only truly shines in Earth atm. With most of the other open world tiles in older maps lacking a "roof" and instead teleporting the player pack to there starting position it really kills the fun of her ability to go up high. The most notable offender of this however is the Corpus dam level commonly seen in defense missions (Kiliken - Venus) being one of the most common places to see this tile.

     

    At first glance its a huge open area where it seems the sky is the limit. I figured it would be a perfect place to test the limits of Zephyrs Tail Wind. modding for full Duration and going in I found I was able to cross the whole tile wall-to-wall in one cast which was amazing and fun! However I was rendered unable to go skyward at all since 1 jump up with tail wind would simply put me up to the roof cap and teleport me back down.

     

    So in short I'd like to see DE revisit older tiles, especially planet side, and remove the teleporting back to start mechanic in favor of a invisible roof of sorts

     

    In addition I'd love to see the height limits raised on all of these maps as well. After all you made a frame that can fly so you should really give her some space to do just that.

     

     

     

    On a side note I really think it wouldn't hurt to use that dam tile that's exclusive to defense atm elsewhere. Its a really nice tile but due to spawn locations of the cryopod atm there is a large chunk of it that gets wasted which could be solved if it was simply implemented to be used in other mission types.

  5. I do not agree with the decreased cost suggestion for that ability. Why? Well because you can do so via by mods and the costs of abilities can be gotten ridiculously low with them and because she is a caster warframe, she has every reason to utilize said mods so you can keep that ability up thanks to the mods so that reduction is unnecessary because of those mods in my opinion. Not only this but 10 energy? Way better than Excaliburs super jump with the same cost?

    Paralysis is a perma stun lock that costs 5 energy...

    That aside, Blind rage is a mandatory mod on this frame atm this means spell cost up by 66% put in a streamline and its still a 36% INCREASE. thats 68 a cast as opposed to 14 if they took my idea.

     

    and sure, you could put fleeting expertise in to put it to 24% reduciton for a cost of 38 which if it was going to be spammed is still high and for that we get to have a 60% reduction to WoF, Accelerant, Fireblast, and Fireballs DoTs/Debuffs which just outright kills the frame.

     

    So No mods do not help fix this situation at all. in its current state it effectively costs 204 energy + 68 more per group you run into with WoF that isn't accelerated.which can easily hit 408 or more energy out of my 487 (with a flow and helmet) and with the stealth nerf to energy drop rates and heavy drop rate nerf in canisters as well as canister energy orbs giving 25 when they used to give 50 this is just unacceptable. 

     

    Ember is made of glass now so she should at least be able to spam spells and damage all day long. and having a cheap AoE stun gives her that survivability she needs to have for WoF in its current state to work.

  6. so far I do like the new skill Accelerant. And Ember (Prime as of last night XD) being my main frame its good to see her getting looked at.


     


    Right now the current buffs that I feel are absolutely NEEDED for this frame to work in her current state.


     


    Accelerant currently costs 50... this is a big no. it feels like a skill you should be spamming to keep it rolling on every mob in the area. I think its cost should come down to 10 so that we can do just that.


     


    next, fire blast. This needs 1 of 2 different things, maybe even both. I think its cost of 75 is a bit high since players like to stack them to actually see good results, especially since it has poor synergy with accelerant compared to WoF and fireball. so I think it should come down to 50.


     


    OR


     


    Make it so fire blast will deal its DoT to anyone in the ring rather then just on the ring which would make it much better with Accelerant.


     


    Now other then those which I feel are absolutely needed I would also like to see damage buffs to WoF as well as a 100% proc rate. and the big thing is remove the 3 target limit! its called WORLD ON FIRE not "3 people on fire" with Nova still in the state she was on release having more armor, more speed and more utility there is no reason for WoF to not hit every infested stuck inside.



    just look at that, from a frame thats faster and tankier who also has arguably the best utility spell in the game. Ember is a glass cannon, but shes missing the cannon half of that at the moment. 


     


     


    My message to DE right now is: Don't be afraid to give hardcore super powered buffs all at once to Ember. not only does she need them but the player feedback will tell you fast whether its to much or to little not to worry.


  7. Don't care if new power is good. I liked overheat. Everyone liked it. Say otherwise and ill assume you're a troll or don't know what your talking about. sigh ill say this again though its not as good if I post it twice.

     

    Never new I wanted to be exactly like nova.... would have thought id be playing nova if I wanted this that badly.... oh well guess I should just go enjoy it how im told to enjoy it because who am I to be different...

     

    there is so much hypocrisy in this statement I don't even know where to start. 

    So let me get this straight. if I have a different OPINION then you on what skills I like and don't like I'm a troll.

    But on the same coin you want to use sarcasm to say making things the same and lacking difference is a terrible idea.

  9. so myself and 3 of my friends began running this event and decided we could all use the catalyst from Gradivus so we supported the Grineer. however in 3 of our 7 runs a single corpus crewman or moa would spawn in a wall or out of the map with no way to kill them and forced us to abandon the mission. this left us with 4/5 runs done and we lost out on a catalyst that we should of had in 2 less runs then we had done, this is especially frustrating since it wasn't our fault at all.

     

    I hope we get compensation for this.

     

     

    the other person that did all 7 runs with me (the other 2 quit early) was Djelite.

  10. I would like to point out that it should be made impossible to get any of the 4 mods that you used in a transmute as a result. I just used 4 mods and got a power throw mod for a glaive I don't own. I went to use it and 3 other mods to get something else and I got another Power throw. I'm feeling pretty screwed over at the moment but it did cause me to come to the idea of this suggestion I'm sure everyone will agree with.

     

    After all the only mods you fuse together are ones you don't want so why should it ever give you one of the mods you used in the fusion?

     

  11. I would like to point out that it should be made impossible to get any of the 4 mods that you used in a transmute as a result.   12. You'd have to direct me to a thread where people are complaining the game is too hard.  I guess I usually miss them.

     

    I also don't think melee needs a buff and this is coming from a guy that will go an entire mission without ever firing a shot.  I wall run, slide dash, and jump slam attack frequently probably more than I fire my main weapons and it's amazing. 

     

    Slap on 150% extra charge damage 60% faster charge speed on a Gram, Scindo, or Hammer (always forget the hammer's name) along with any elemental damage which scales with your charge attack you're easily hitting well over 600 EVERY attack that takes a second to charge and will kill an entire group in one swing, unless it's a "heavy" variety.

     

    Really?  Buffed?  What?  You have to RUN between every person you want to kill, of course it's not going to be as effective as attacking from a distance. 

     

     

    The game is pretty easy with a properly modded melee weapon.  What really needs to happen is there NEED to be enemies that are incredibly dangerous to stay at range from forcing players to close the distance to melee.

     

    I.E. mortar type enemy that shoots deadly explosives that is resistant to bullets but vulnerable to melee.  It's the same concept with a kevlar vest, they can stop bullets but you can still stab through them with a knife or nail gun.

     

    That's a better solution than buffing or nerfing anything else.

     

     

    Yes, we should never use real life reason for anything ever and draw exclusively on our imaginations and cyber experiences, ayup.

     

    Since we're suspending realism I want to be able to fly and shoot rockets out of my feet.  And I want there to be no ammo, that realism totally breaks the game immersion for me and is such garbage.

     

    As well as buffing melee, utter clap trap.  You should go back to My Little Pony or whatever fantasy land you choose to inhabit.  /s

     

    Really though, his reasoning is just as rational as yours.

    1. Learn to read. (says very clearly IN. THIS. SITUATION. As in NOT every situation.)  2. take your rage, sarcasm, and insult filled posts elsewhere we don't want them. 3. the point of this thread is NOT whether something should be nerfed or buffed or added or removed. this thread is about the very large gap in numbers on mods between melee and ranged weaponry (and the elemental mods on melee) and wanting to find out why said gap is there.

  13. Just got to rank 4 two days ago, I have a supercharged HEK now at rank 12 and I have to ask? is there any real reason to go back to using any other gun once you have this bad boy? I mean I understand its the only gun atm thats unlocked at rank 4 but its a bit ridiculous in stats when compared to everything else.

    I mean seriously? Is anyone nowadays fighting wars with swords/melee?

    Using real life reasons to make up for something like this in a video game (designed to be a break from reality) is garbage. if you want realism go back to your battlefield or CoD or w/e.

  15. Slightly off the subject, where on earth are North Wind mods? I haven't seen one yet, but I've gotten both Molten Impact and Shocking Touch several times.

     

    Ontopic: Yes, it would be nice to have melee buffed. I've always had a soft spot for melee, and there are some things in melee now that are just not practical for the amount of effort taken, like the wallrun + melee. Flashy, but it does the same damage as a slide attack and is much more difficult to pull off.

    although off topic I will answer for you. basically since cold damage has a D polarity it has equal chances to drop everywhere, meaning you could get it at any time. the down side is there is no faction/mission you can farm to make it more likely to show up for you, sorry for the not so happy response, but if you just keep trucking you will get it eventually. I only just got mine today (well the one im keeping, I had plenty before the extreme mod drop nerf lol)

  16. I just tried something that to my absolute amazement worked. I logged in to get my daily reward and as it was spinning I saws the pictures change. I clicked on them just as it changed to a picture of ember and the login reward pop-up disappeared  so upset on it not telling me what I got I check my inventory and lo and behold I had an ember blueprint that I know for fact I didn't have before (already own ember.) so I believe you can actually click on the rewards as they go buy to try and get what you want.

    If this is somehow common knowledge and I'm just slow, I appologize. if its not then you're all very welcome!
