At the time when I wrote down that report, I had almost no time to test so I couldn't confirm if it's actually not working or only the individual exalted weapons' arsenal numbers don't refer this correctly. After further tests, it seems like it's just tooltip error rather than actually not functioning at all on exalteds. Apologies for false alarm.

oh really? awesome, though it was a pretty convincing error.

  2. funny how Precision intensify could massively help exalted weapons, but doesnt effect them at all.

Here, in ability screen, Exalted blade shows increased stats with precision intensify.

    8438SjF.jpg

-But in here, Exalted blade doesn't have increased stats nor increased status chance from chromatic blade.

I don't have much time for now so I can't crosscheck with other exalteds, but even in the mission, it doesn't apply.

    +Edit: Mesa's 4, Baruuk's 4, Ivara's 4, Sevagoth's shadow claws stats, Titania's 4, Wukong's 4, Valkyr's 4 also are not affected by precision intensify at all.

+Edit2: Might be a tooltip error? I tested it after, it seems, instead of 60% status chance, I see exalted blade applying status everytime when I hit something that is prone to status procs, which is supposed to be achieved with 189% power strength. not so sure about damage output though.

Hi, with the new Grimoire I wanted to pair it with Yereli. I know that it grants 200% crit chance while moving, but I don't quite understand the technical aspect of it.

So, for the Grimoire that has 20% crit chance, is that additive, giving you 220% crit chance, or multiplicative, granting you 60% crit chance?

I'm mostly just curious if I should build the Grimoire to not have a Crit Chance mod, or if a Crit Chance mod is still needed.

    should work like this:

    Relative Increases

Most increases to crit chance are relative to the base chance. Multiple of these stack additively with each other:

    Total Crit Chance=Base Crit Chance×(1+Relative Bonus){\displaystyle {\text{Total Crit Chance}}={\text{Base Crit Chance}}\times (1+{\text{Relative Bonus}})}
Where the Relative Bonus is the sum of all applicable bonuses.
    Relative Bonus=Bonus1+Bonus2+Bonus3+⋯{\displaystyle {\text{Relative Bonus}}={\text{Bonus}}_{1}+{\text{Bonus}}_{2}+{\text{Bonus}}_{3}+\cdots }

As an example, a Braton Braton with Mod TT 20px Point Strike and Mod TT 20px Argon Scope has a crit chance of:

    12% × (1 + Mod TT 20px 150% + Mod TT 20px 135%) = 46.2%

    so it should be: 20% X (1+200%)= 60%

    Passive

Everflowing with the seas, whenever YareliIcon272 Yareli moves for at least 1.5 seconds, she gains the Critical Flow buff that increases Critical Chance on her secondary Weapon by 200%. Critical Flow lasts until Yareli stops moving for 1 second.

    • Critical Flow additively stacks with other pistol critical chance mods such as Mod TT 20px Pistol Gambit to increase the secondary weapon's base critical chance stat.

it wont be available until later this month, probably after the next big update. "Whispers in The Walls"

Edit: they are also doing it in waves, since they want a controlled launch of the feature.

the progress would be the main PC one as far as i understand

Thats what i thought, which wouldnt bother me, the story is good.

This is more things DE need to answer better but aren't.

From my understanding, you pick one account as the primary one to merge into. This one keeps all your progression. The rest are merged into that and you keep everything from those (gear, rivens, frames, weapons etc.). The "Primary" account then becomes a Warframe account, and is simply tied to the game, not the platform, so there is no harm at all in marking your Switch account as a "primary" account, as the Primary/Secondary account thing is simply for the merging process, not afterthefact.

I see, if thats the case, then awesome, i just dont want to be tied to Nintendo and end up being bottlenecked due to that. If i am no longer a nintendo account after merge, then that would be awesome! (The limitations i saw heavily worried me).

Just make main your switch account. After all you will be able to play with your switch account on pc after the merger that its the point of cross save.

If i am no longer tied to Nintendo after the merge, then ill 100% do that.

Thank you all for the help!

I 100% agree that they should of been a lot less vague and gave more clear answers in the Q&A.

  6. atm, i have 3 accounts,

    1. a newer PC account
    2. a very old Playstation account
    3. my main account, switch

    1. could i merge all 3 together and if i make PC my main, would i have to redo the whole story?

i feel like having Switch as a main account would hinder me a lot more than if i just made a PC account my main instead due to all those Switch limitations i saw.

    2. on my PS4 account, i have Prime accessories that my Switch account already has, what will happen when i merge those platforms together?

So this probably won't be a popular take because people love everything EZ, but after the change archons feel too much like paper to me.

I DO think they are better for people with lower MR and equipment that isn't top tier, for sure. Those struggles were real, I witnessed and even participated in them. So in that way I think it was perhaps a success. But for an average archon run, it's over in the blink of an eye.

Here's the thing: its almost exactly as fast as killing Phorid. And that's a pretty sad state for one of the (if not THE) most elite boss WF has ever tried to produce.

There have been many good suggestions for how to improve the archon fights, some I've offered myself, but I'm pretty sure at this point that if it's not on reddit DE doesn't see it so....

    anyways, that's where it's at.

    Just dont bring meta weapons/frames.

I think its in a fine state atm.

Edit: Before the archon change, a non meta build could literally take you like a hour+ to kill it.

yay, i no longer need to abuse the Laetum or the Kuva Hek to kill it and i can use other weapons that i like.

While I can see the problem your having, its only going to be a detriment to players that does "HEAVY ATTACKS". And the amount of players that use heavy attacks with melee is so few, and even then, most players that do, don't even spam heavy attack. This kind of change is not necessary at all, and if this is all because you want to use Exodia Contagion without problems, then just either git gud or find some alternative to using it all the time in the missions you play with randoms that use Empowered Blades.

Imagine you have a heavy attack build on like, the Corufell or Syam or a glaive/any other good heavy attack weapon.

You then run into a player using this aura while not using heavy attack builds and your forced to deal with the consequences, even if you aren't using the aura yourself.

i know this should be a very rare situation, but it can happen, so i agree with OP.

even compare it to combat discipline:
    Combat Discipline:

    • The aura bearer health loss and ally health gain are separately triggered, as follows:
      • When the aura bearer kills an enemy, only the aura bearer loses health.
      • When an ally kills an enemy, only that ally gains health.

    Empowered Blades:

    • The bonus to status chance is additive with other status chance mods. A weapon with a base status chance of 10% with Mod TT 20px Drifting Contact and Empowered Blades would gain an additional 10% status chance (+100% status chance bonus) for a total of 20% status chance.
    • Bonus damage is not applied if your Warframe does not have at least one shield point available to be consumed, making it impossible to benefit from on NidusIcon272 Nidus, InarosIcon272 Inaros or KullervoIcon272 Kullervo, and of very little benefit on frames that cannot regenerate shield at will, or have extremely small shield reserves.

    Play them then.

What you are sayinng basically, is that they lack build variety.

equinox literally has like 2 builds and thats it... she has awful build variety.

i play steelpath, most new frames have several builds you can do and can usely use all their abilities effectively

equinox already gets punished for using half her kit due to abilities being reset on switch, forcing you to have to build them up again. she also has major energy issues with some of her abilities and some of her abilities are flat out outclassed by helminth abilities.
