  1. Further update:
I've tested accessing Orb Vallis and the event directly from Fortuna, and I have been ABLE to further participate in sealing fractures, joining groups, etc for the event using this method as a work-around.

The issue of accessing the event from the orbiter event drop-down still exists, but this at least allows for accessing the event.

I've updated my original post to reflect this.

  2. As an update after further exploring the issue, I have discovered other problems:

While in the Event Orb Vallis/Bugged Orb Vallis, mining nodes do NOT register when a laser drill is equipped, as shown here:
    https://pasteboard.co/I5TjtTD.png

    And here:
    https://pasteboard.co/I5TkOoq.png

Any further testing was interrupted as now the bugged instance of Orb Vallis kicked me into Fortuna before I could explore any more issues. Anecdotal issues I have seen while testing have been:
Resources not spawning (Tepa Nodules, Spores, Crates)
    Randomized Enemy encounters not spawning.
    Enemy Dropships not spawning.

  3. After recently completing the Buried Debts story (multiple times) I have attempted to return to sealing Thermia Fractures to gain further credit towards receiving the rewards for sealing a certain number of fractures (my next milestone will be 50 fractures sealed) and collecting the rewards.

Upon attempting to enter Orb Vallis from the orbiter (using the Thermia Fractures mission from the events dropdown) I am unable to join groups entering the region for the same purpose, and briefly see messages of 'Player joining' but see no player materialize, or otherwise be, what I can only describe as 'diverted' from my game session to another Orb Vallis game session.

On top of this Exploiter Orb does not spawn, even though Thermia Fractures still spawn across the map - leaving me unable to participate in further fracture sealing events.

Is this a bug? Is this intended? If so, I have unwittingly locked myself out of receiving the rewards for the Thermia Fracture event from the 50 sealed milestone and up - which is upsetting as I was hoping to at least unlock the second set of Amalgam mods.

EDIT: A work around for this issue is to enter Orb Vallis directly from Fortuna, without interacting with the events dropdown from the star chart/navigation. Orb Vallis and the event work normally for myself when I have tried this method.

  4. I know this is going to be an unpopular idea, but I feel that, right now, Rivens represent an unhealthy aspect of Warframe that could do with being addressed.

Right now Rivens are provided with several layers of randomization that must be cut through:
    1) The unlock requirements of the Riven
    2) The weapon the Riven applies to
    3) Whether each of the modifiers will be positive or negative effects
    4) What effect is provided by each modifier
    5) Repeat 3 and 4 whenever rerolling the Riven with Kuva

In short, I think there is far too much randomization, and an inordinate amount of value placed on Rivens with unique or especially good modifiers.

I propose, to both reduce the severe amount of randomization involved, and to 'normalize' the value of RIvens as compared to other content, while still providing the ability to create new and unique mod configurations to boost the power of weapons that have fallen by the wayside. My proposal is outlined below:

    Rivens are no longer mods.
Instead Rivens are a special adapter, like the Exilus adapter for Warframes, which can only be applied to weapons. This adapter opens up a 9th weapon mod slot, which has a universal polarity, and also enhances the effect of the mod installed in that slot, based on investments of Kuva into that slot.

Riven Disposition could then control the number of times a Riven mod slot could be enhanced, limiting the benefit provided by the Riven slot. Each time the slot is enhanced, the Kuva cost to enhance the slot would increase multiplicatively, in the same fashion as the mounting Kuva costs to reroll Rivens currently.

This would drastically shorten the randomization cycle for Rivens, and make them far more usable in a more immediate capacity. This would also address the issue of Rivens being excessively over-valued (to the tune of thousands of platinum for a single Riven), while limiting the benefits achieved for Rivens by already powerful weapons. The new gameplay loops I would envision with such a change would be:

    1) Get a Riven, discover the unlock requirements.
    2) Unlock the Riven, discover which weapon it would apply to.
    3) Apply the Riven to the weapon in question, OR, trade the Riven for a reasonable value to other players interested in enhancing that given weapon.
    4) Run missions to gather the Kuva needed to enhance the Riven slot.

I am not expecting a favourable reception for the idea, but I felt it would be at least something to consider. As Rivens are now, I feel they are an exceptionally unhealthy part of what is an otherwise great game, relying on gambling mechanics and randomization to achieve something with an inordinately inflated value among those players interested in the use and collection of such mods. I can't say my proposal would solve all the issues with the Riven system, but I hope it at least preserves the intent and spirit of which it was put into the game, while being a healthier, more reasonable alternative for the community at large.

    Thanks for reading!

I totally understand why it's upsetting as there's a clear precedent for toggles working in the past, but I want to offer a bit of extra clarity here since you mentioned Valkyr.

The issue with Valkyr Prime details (and other texture issues with Primes) is completely separate from the issue here. Those were set up incorrectly and were a bug -- Mesa's are set up properly, that's not the problem unfortunately. We have never had this problem come up with Prime details on a TennoGen skin since previous Primes stayed fairly true to the original Warframe's model. This is the first time that Prime and the original model are so different that the Prime details simply don't line up properly, resulting in the texture problems that are currently live. 😞

The toggle is being removed because of how 'broken' the Prime toggle is. That's all the info I have at the moment.

    Thank you for the update.

Unfortunately this means I will most likely not spend my money on future Tennogen skins for Warframes - as I no longer have assurance that I would be able to enjoy the collaborative content that comprises these skins.

If this becomes a trend for all future Tennogen skins for warframes, I can see this having a terrible impact on the Tennogen community. This effectively deincentivizes any and all warframe tennogen skin development because of this issue - because why bother make Tennogen skins for a warframe if DE is simply going to throw the creators under the bus like this - and would negatively impact the revenue generated from warframe specific skins for both the creators and DE.

This decision also does an amazing disservice to the current owners of any Tennogen content for this warframe, and may well prevent future purchases, despite interest on the part of players.

maroo no me notifica cuando tiene misiones para escultura ayatan y tengo que ir al repetidor y si me la da ahí pero cuando la termino no me da niuna escultura creo que esta es la 4 vez que me pasa

Translated (using google translate): "maroo does not notify me when he has missions for ayatan sculpture and I have to go to the repeater and if he gives it to me there but when I finish it does not give me a sculpture I think this is the 4 time that happens to me"

I just did the weekly Maroo Ayatan run and on completing the stage (including successfully retrieving the Ayatan sculpture) the sculpture was not rewarded at end of mission and is NOT in my inventory after completing the mission.

Maroo indicates the quest as completed for the week "No new leads." and will not allow for another Ayatan mission.

  7. Tried out the replay functionality for the War Within quest, and it's still great. Still moving and touching in the way that it was the first time around.

A couple of things I'd like to put my two-cents towards, even though I'm sure some of this has been mentioned already:

Immutable Choice: I'm frankly disappointed that I'm not able to replay the quest to alter the alignment choices made during said quest. I was honestly hoping this would be included with the ability to replay the quest, as, other than for the enjoyment of the quest itself, there's no other reason to replay it.

Note: A major reason I want to alter these choices are because I misunderstood the fundamentals of what was being presented - as a choice between balance and extremes, in the sense of beliefs and religions from asian cultures, as opposed to the polarized good vs evil, with something in between, primarily of the western world. Because of that misunderstanding, I'd like the opportunity to go back and remake those choices with the better understanding I have now. I hope that, if this goal can be achieved, it can be achieved with other similar choices that can be made in other quests as well (Glast Gambit).

That's my two cents. The quest otherwise works quite well, and dodging some of the hazards within is a fair bit easier (but no less thrilling/hair-raising) with the practice I've had since originally playing the quest.

  8. Not sure where to put this - first off.

Second off, running into a bug where operating the Tusk Dargyn's from the Plains locks my characters controls and prevents my character from dismounting from the vehicle.

In Both instances I have been playing Saryn Prime.

In Both instances the vehicles have been commandeered by having the pilot killed through the use of Spore propagating (Casting spore on the Dargyn and then shooting it with Toxic Lash active).

In one instance, the Dargyn was fully commandable, but immune to incoming damage.

In the second instance the Dargyn was forced to the stairs infront of the Cetus gate to the Plains and could only rotate in place (Pictured). Having party members attempt to force my character out of the Dargyn by waiting at the exit point did NOT force my character to dismount. The /Unstuck command did nothing but rotate my character 180 degrees and did NOT force my character to dismount. (Pictured)

Occurrence: Almost every time - short flights have no issue, however longer stays in the vehicle seem to prompt the glitch more often.

Severity: MAJOR - Prevents completing Plains missions by exiting through the Cetus gate, forcing a mission abort and forfeiting any rewards. Completely prevents character from dismounting the vehicle and does not respond to any (known) methods to force a dismount.

  9. Thank you to the devs and troubleshooting teams for your hard work and dedication.

It's unfortunate that human nature leads us to scream and rant at you until the issue is resolved - regardless of the fault or culprit - and then say nothing once things are set to right.

Once again, thank you all DE, very much.
