  1. The problem is that the way to receive the bonus payout which is the actual reward is almost out of your control and on top of that bugged and does not work most of the time. I dont mind doing a long ground or space mission but the victory payout only if flotilla reaches 100/100 is both needlessly complicated and bugged. Just let people run the mission. If they stay longer they get more points scaling and the bonus victory payout depending on points is received on mission end directly without poorly explained buggy flotilla shenanigans.

  2. I have to agree with Gofretko. Warframe had always had grind but before i had the feeling that you can grind at your own pace, not so with nightwave. I have a life and cant play every day and sometimes not every week forcing me to log on and do the challages too often is burning me out, along with the fact the some challages take away from my limited game time that i want to spend on onder warframe content. Best soluiton would honestly be montly cap of Nightwave standing and the option to tailor which challanges i actually want to do from a pool of them for each type (weekly/elite). I think that allowing people to have  a choice will reduce frustration and not make the game feel like haveing another job and will allow people who have busy real life to catch up better then the current system. It will still requre people to put in the work and time to complete the same amout of challages to earn standing but they can do it when they are free and while doing warframe contet that is enjoyable for them. And i dont see why some people seem resistant to the idea.

    And before someone says you "want it to be easy" i can complete most of the challges without difficulty, but not every week and forcing me to unfun and tedious busy work is burning me out and im sure im not the only one. Difficulty is not the problem forcing people to do tedious time consuming things every day/week when they potentially have a busy real life or maybe just want to take a small break from the game so that they dont get burned out is the problem.

  3. The ironic thing about Ubisoft is that they publish the Rocksmith game series which is an infinitely more reliable experience than Warframe (and ME3 MP and so many other action games) and requires more skill than any action game ever will.

     

    But, about the RJ nerf and DE's handling of it, there are some facts that make it difficult to believe some of what DE says on this issue:

     

    0)  When RJ's targeting was changed to "close to enemies" there was no mention that LOS was still the goal.

     

    1)  When RJ's targeting was changed to "close to enemies" the target limit of 16 enemies was removed.  This made RJ more powerful.  Making an ability more powerful, does not imply wanting to make it less powerful later on.

     

    2)  Auto-target, unlimited enemy count, AoE has been a part of Warframe for a long time.  It was never implied that it is a place holder, temporary.  In fact, Warframe was promoted as not a typical game in early DE videos on youtube.

     

    3)  RJ was made into an Auto target, unlimited enemy count, AoE like so many other abilities.  It was made common, or even normal for Warframe one might say.  This does not imply plans to nerf it.  (Awareness targeting is a nerf.)

     

    4)  This is not just a matter of communication.  If DE had announced that they were going to make RJ into an auto-targeting + unlimited targets AoE, while they figure out how to nerf it into LOS/Awareness/Etc. later, people would have been scratching their heads and asking, "why give us something we want then take it away from us.  Why the chaos?"

     

    Good games like Rocksmith are entirely devoid of all this developer non-sense and chaos.  One flavor of the quarter doesn't replace the previous flavor of the quarter in a good game.

     

    And, we can't blame the players because the backlash always swamps the white knighting.

    this just the the last paragraphs.Warframe has a lot of potential but it has massive balancing issues so a lot of stuff ends up useless and then you grind+rng which can quckly burn you out hance why i play LOL more often then warframe i burnout without new content higher level enemies are just more of the same more health more damge nothing new,forcing you to just farm for that one overpowered mod or weapon doing the same thing over and over again insted of  motivating the palyer to change tactics or play diffrent game modes.

    but still while DE are whearing out their trust with me they still are not as untrustworthy as some other companies (Ubisoft and EA i am looking at you) but more lack of ideas reather then underhanded tactics(for now at least but i dont like where the current direction seems to be going).There doesnt seem to be a solid idea on what endgame is suppose to be except more of the same but that just burns a lot of players out. Now not all obviously a lot of us are still here but really that cant last forever. That said the devs have talked about reducing grind and yet they do the opposite so that is quickly eroding my trust i also think that as much as i like new content stop with it focus is needed on balancing and grind reducing.

    And if DE doesnt know how to reduce the grind well say it "we dont know" and make a challange to the playerbase present ways to reduce grind and make it more of a skill wall not grind wall with rewards for the top solutions which then get implamented.I like this game but the current way DE is doing thigs is not good for players and while DE needs to eat the player also need to be taken care of they are not the enemy.

    Also more communication i think we need DE posting here more often.Even if DE is watching it does not seem like it + think of it as opportunity tell us DE why are you not doing it what problems are you faceing with this what is your cohirent engame vison and why cant you reduce the grind wall even thou you tell us you will.Maybe if w eknow what the problems are behind the scenes we are going to be more motivated and more capable of giving constructive feedback that is the benefit of transparency as well as trust.

The OP has great ideas, but i do wonder if DE is actually watching those forum couse stalking these forums and playing since almost the beginning thats been asked for a long time.We dont need enemies that are the same only tougher we need enemy variety drop the absurdly high level enemies with unending health pools and do as OP says we need new tactics not just more damage more health and so on.The trickiest part is going to be balansing nuke casters and cc utility using percentige damage + base seems like a great idea.However i do doub DE will be willing to to make the massive changes required.

I have the following problem i decided to play the tutorial when given the choice but now after i have completed the missions the arsenal still hasnt unlocked and i cant change my loadout it makes the game reather stale is all.The foundry and everything else is working but not arsenal here are some screenshots:

  6. I think that we as Tenno are mostly human (probably ancient supersoldiers) . I don't think we can judge much by the look of the captive for several reasons:

    -First this is beta and we havonly so much textures and models.

    -second that doesnt look to me like the actual body of the Tenno more like something like an inner layer of the armor.Mediaval plate armor was basecally made of several layers the outer layer made of solid metal plate and several inner layers made of lether and a chainmail somthing similar is probably going here.(plus "the mission hendeler" seems to have normal skin under the helmet and is still part of the order even if in non combat role)

    -Third I think that when you change warframe you change Teno becouse like ancient swordmasters they probably dedicate themselves to just one warframe and master it to perfection.

    On the matter of the Tenno mind I have to agree with Aste the image of a meditathing Tanno invokes thoughts of an enlightent warrior.My personal theory is that the order was founded shortly after some grat social collapse in a period of chaos and lawlessnes.The firs Tenno war a grop of warriors trying to establish some manner of peace loaw and order in the solar system and due to the state of matters at the time were far more similar to monastic orders rather than a police or military force.This is why they are similar to knights and samurai but not quite either new warrior for a new age after all.There end gole is probably still the same ,thats why we are fighting all the other fractions the are all symbols of corroption, Grineer of the body and Corpus of the soul( at least they invoke in me "typical corrupt megacorp"). The Tennos code probably have some sort of code of conduct and it is probably whats compeling them to fight in some attempt to fix the current mess and establish something same reasonable. This is all speculatiation thou until we get some more concreate lore.
