  1. I've never liked the invulnerability given by Hysteria. It is very hard to balance around and I feel like DE has used it as a crutch for Valkyr to remain where she is. I wish they would make it a straight damage reduction, increase the damage it does and maybe give it some extra utility. She isn't exactly a one trick pony like Titania (who even then is worse than valkyr), but you basically do Hysteria or you do warcry and warcry kind of starts to fall off (but not become useless) the higher level content you do. In higher end content Hysteria's damage also falls off, but you're invulnerable so i guess you have time.

Valkyr, like most frames in the game, certainly has major issues and a couple abilities that are NOT good at all, but there are many other warframes that would kill to be half as good as Valkyr. Ember? Nyx? Limbo? Titania? The new Hildryn? There is no content i would play any of those frames in above a Valkyr with one hand tied behind my back.

Put her in line wit h the others. There are frames that need rework ASAP for years...

Yup, which is why it is so disappointing that they release a brand new warframe that already critically needs a major rework.

At least we can look forward to a fix when they release a deluxe skin for her. Nobody is going to buy a deluxe skin for ember after all.

Maybe in the simu where you know where your stupid dog is at marking enemies. In a real setting it is highly hit and miss because there are too many variables involved.

    This.

Not to mention you're giving up your aura slot and a warframe mod slot. You're also using a Kubrow which means not using a carrier or a kavat. You're also losing out on two mod slots on the kubrow.

It works rather well in the simulacrum, but the icon is hard to see, and i've heard that if someone else kills the marked target, it doesn't trigger anything. Not sure if that is true or not. Whatever the case, spreading status effects doesn't seem hugely useful in most cases and while the armor is nice in the simulacrum,

If you think this mod set is super powerful, what are you using with it? If i am saryn, my spores are already going to spread. It doesn't seem worth trying to rely on high toxic damage proccing and spreading it. I thought about using it on my Nezha, but the uptime doesn't seem reliable enough to justify the mod slot cost. Maybe something to do with Garuda, but i haven't used her much.

The extreme niche nature of the mod set, combined with how mediocre kubrows are compared to other companions leaves me confused on why people think this mod set is super good.

  4. Simulacrum has its uses, but i REALLY hate when someone creates a "super powerful build" in the simulacrum that basically does not work in the real world. I guess the only thing worse is when someone uses that Simulacrum only situation to justify calling for nerfs of said warframe. Well, even worse than that is that most people seem to agree that Garuda is if anything underpowered.

Youre in arbitration, not too much operators can do in high levels. And you changed what the problem was. First it was afk/leeching, now you dont like his output, which wouldn't change a whole lot(rate would increase, but not the per hit).

Ok, my mistake. You're right. It is perfectly acceptable to just play Excalibur Umbra in defense missions, go in to operator mode, stand on the defense objective so i don't die and then go watch TV. I wouldn't be AFK because my warframe is technically doing something even though i am not personally pushing any keys or taking any manual actions. Maybe i will click the mouse every five minutes so i don't get kicked, but i won't take any actual manual actions during the entire mission.

  6. His operator was not doing anything except standing on top of the objective, completely stationary the whole game and not performing any obvious action. It was a defense mission where the objective was tall, so he could just park his operator on top with basically no fear of death.

I admit i don't have any experience with the power of  Excalibur Umbra in auto mode. I've used him a bunch in his typical sword configuration, but never focused on having the warframe in auto mode the whole game. However, it is pretty obvious his warframe was not doing a ton of damage, even if it did not show up in the stats. It did not seem capable of killing enemies near it at all (a few times i specifically stood next to it and watched it fight enemies) and half the time it appeared to be shooting in to the side of the objective.

  7. I finally finished clearing the star chart and did my first one today.

There was a player with excalibur Umbra staying in operator mode on top of the defense objective and letting his warframe fight in auto mode the entire time.

I assume there is no hidden trick that this makes this not someone just leeching so he can get free rotational rewards? Is there some way to actually punish these players either short term (by kicking them out of the game so i don't spend 20 minutes grinding rewards for them) or long term (by getting them suspended)?

My hunch is the answer is there is no way to do anything about it, but in a multiplayer game like this that makes absolutely no sense.

To add insult to injury, i didn't realize if i leave after completing some waves, i can't enter a new one. So i guess the answer probably is that if you notice someone leeching, you need to leave before completing a round...
