I suffered from this a month ago, but with time everything for well
Life got better after:
Potatoed my weapon
Got a lvl 6 serration
Got a max lvl split chamber
Got lvl 3-4 elemental mods
Now i got a lot of better stuff and can solo most solar system maps.
My goal now is get forma to enhance my mains...got 4 so far, 2 went to my sybaris and 2 for my amprex. My sidearms still on the qeue, but will get some love

As a player that just crossed the "new player" line (not a veteran tho), i would recomend leveling the elemental dmg mods as they are easy to obtain and helps a lot
The dmg mods (serration/hornet strike) are harder to get and to lvl, but are very powerfull
Until you get them elemental dmg will help a lot...just try some combinations based on dmg 2.0

Potatoes are worth too...Their blueprints are rare...i spent all my plat with 4 weapon slots, 1 warframe slot and the rest with catalysts and reactors

I kept trying and finally for it.
I know that its not game changer, but still a nice piece for my crit build...its working pretty well specially with the amprex...status procs a lot more now

Tks a lot for the tip...i still dont have ash or loki for stealth runs...still trying to progress through the solar system to the right planets to farm for them
Right now i can do mostly exterminate missions with vectis (die sometimes), so it takes some time...
I guess i am just unlucky for now
Edit- i'll use it with vectis and amprex

I have been trying to get 1 from nightmare missions for a long time now and no success so far...something like 50-60 missions in a row and nothing
Any specific mission has better drop rate?
Any tips how to get one?

Not hard to get...just need some patience.
Another tip i can give is to learn well how moding works...its higly advised to learn it in order to progress in the game

My advice as someone that is enjoying the game a lot is dont spend plat for now...for me one of the great fun factors of this game is the challenge to obtain weapons and frames by farming...in the meantime you will learn a lot about the game mechanics and will enjoy it a lot more
For me plat is only for slots and reactors/catalysts aka potatoes
Everything else can be obtained in game without much suffering
Ps- potatoes can also be farmed but is a lot server dependant (you will understand this soon)

I still didnt see the vídeo but my sugestion is that you always try to do the fights with weapons that a new player can have at the moment
I.E a new player cant use a soma with 4 forma, max lvl mods, etc
Doing the fight with a "realistic" weapon will make the videos a lot more interesting
