I have a vision of Oberon with a Massive 2Hand Weapon, standing in 2x Hollowed Ground just a swinging away at everything, with some Smites and Reckonings mixed in for Awesomeness, and a Renewal for health regen when I need it.

short stories, etc.? if not, why not?

 

I'd love to read some small sidestories about everyday life in the Warframe Universe. Not everyone is a Tenno or fighting against one.

 

I'd love to know what the "regular people" of the universe do in their everyday lives while we are killing Grineer for loot.

[What Does The Word "corpus" Actually Mean?]

It probably has something to do with the word 'corporation'.

note though, that most of the entries that use "corpus" in this way, are from the Orokin Era, before the Great War, and before "The Corpus" was a thing.

 

like, the Detron Crewman synthesis entry takes place before the creation of the Sentients. and in that entry, the word is used not by "a Corpus" but by an Orokin.

There are several instances in Codex and Synthesis entries where the word "corpus" is used as something other than a title.

 

"what about your corpus?" - Anti-Moa synthesis

 

"...the corpus that raised me...." - Anti-Moa synthesis

 

"he is corpus to us." - forgot where I saw this one

 

"you, and your corpus...." - Detron Crewman synthesis

 

so what does this word actually mean? Family? Parent? something else?

[Why Are We Stuck With This Horrible Trading System?]

Why not go with something similar to ESO's Guild Trader system? 

 

Clan can hire a trader in Maroo's Bazaar.

 

Clan Members list things, auction-house style, but the Traders are not linked, so you cannot see a list of EVERYTHING on sale, you'd have to check each trader individually.

 

Clan has to pay upkeep for the Trader. Clan also gets tax revenue from each sale.

 

the difference between this and what ESO does, is that the number of Traders would not be limited, as each Clan can hire their own and you don't have to Bid on them.

I have to go through the Console login process every time I start the app, is there a way to force the app to save my login preference?

Youtube gaming is a competitor to Twitch.

Youtube is trying to steal Twitch people, but it will never be the same quality or atmosphere you when with Twitch users.

They will never co-exist.

I am aware of what Youtube Gaming is. I prefer Youtube Gaming over Twitch, personal preference. plus I am not forced to use Facebook in order to chat.

[Clue Me In, Why Does Everyone Hate Archwing Missions?]

Granted, I have not done hundreds of them. But when I did my first Archwing mission, I too thought it was amazing, and a really fun change of pace to standard missions.

Then I go to the forums, and apparently everyone hates them.

Why? What am I missing?

[Were Warframes, At Some Point, Actual People?]

I'm pretty they are still those people. The dialogue from the kids sounds like they are more like a person giving you encouragement. Instead of just controlling your every move and action but just gives you advice, bits and pieces of information of factions, etc.

but if that were the case, wouldn't the Warframes be unique to a Tenno, rather than mass-produced?

[Were Warframes, At Some Point, Actual People?]

In light of The Second Dream and finding out exactly WTF a Tenno is, I've been curious about the design of the Warframes, given the fact that we all use them, therefore they are not unique.

 

It seems to me that a Warframe, as we currently know them, are similar to different Models of Car. Sometimes we want to drive an Excalibur, sometimes we pull the Mesa out of the garage. Maybe that is a simplistic way of looking at it though. 

 

They(along with their weapons) are mass produced from Blueprints. They seem to be basically Machines of War that we(Tenno) control.

 

However, there are several mentions of a specific Warframe's Sentience and Personality that kinda clash with my viewpoint on this.

 

so my question is this: at some point in the Lore History, was each Warframe an actual historical Warrior? are the Mass-produced models, along with their weapons and powers that we use now basically "inspired" by a Warrior from the long, somewhat-forgotten Past?

 

is this a possibility? if not, then why would they have a personality of their own, at all? Why would they have a defined Gender, also?

 

and then furthermore, if this is not the case, then the question becomes, who designed each Warframe, and why did they make them the way they did?

 

[The Presentation In This Game Is Top Notch.]

From the start screens, to the Interface, Music, Communications from NPCs, the Codex (oh god ESPECIALLY the Codex), to the game trailers and cutscenes, Warframe has some of the best presentation I have ever seen in a game.

A lot of "AAA" game developers should take notes.

Also, Rhino's (not Prime) Codex image is BOSS status.

[Prime Access Should Have More Options]

I was slightly disappointed when Prime Access did not turn out to be an Optional Subscription, with Goodies(like a Plat Stipend).

[Can't Map Consumables To Touch Pad?]

on my PS4 d-pad, by default, Left is "Place Marker" and Down is "Consumables". the other two buttons are not mapped to anything at all.

 

so I had the bright idea to re-map my 4 powers from the Touchpad, to the DPad. and that worked fine for Place Marker(swapping it to the Touchpad), but Consumables cannot be mapped to the DPad.

 

any ideas on how to make this work? maybe set something else on the Touchpad, and move Consumables to another button?

[Account Migration - Missing Abilities]

so, I migrated from PC to PS4, and my Nekros, only has Terrify. the other three abilities are just not there anymore.

 

also, I don't have Mag anymore, she was the starter Frame that I chose back when I tried this game on Steam. I used some of my PS Plus starter platinum to buy an Excaibur for the meanwhile, but I really did like Soul-Punching, and hopefully this gets sorted out so that I can get back to using Nekros.

 

I did submit a support ticket (I think, i hope i went to the right place on the website), but was just wondering if this happened to anyone else with their frames.
