Riven mod does not show up under mods for any melee weapon. I've tried rerolling and I've ranked up and even tried trading back and forth between players.

Not sure if it's because I mastery ranked up recently before doing the riven mod challenge or if there's something I need to do in order to equip the mod. To describe simply: The mod says 'MR 9' on the bottom. I believe that's the mastery rank requirement; I am, however, mastery 9. I am not sure what is going on.
