  1. The amount of new mechanics you guys introduced with this expansion will open up many doors in future, where we can use these mechanics to explore missions. The lore is getting more juicy with each expansion, and it was a blast to play through. To reach this level as a F2P game is not only just impressive, its inspiring. Keep up the good work.

I actually enjoyed the quest. Not only does it group people up in a massive search for the plants, it also allows people to spam the same question over and over again in recruit chat. " Where do you find the plants?" " Is the plants on at Earth? " How to start quest?"

At least we got some lore. And getting to see New Loka struggle in her ideals.

No it dosent actually. The wiki got updated fast.

  3. I want to play a space ninja game, with plenty of action and fireworks, instead of playing space gardener going around to collect plants!!! This is by far the worst quest so far.

  4. yeah, you should be asking to range-limit those too.

would make more sense, wouldn't it?

and... just to let you know, that's based on the developers definition of co-operative play. not mine.

there's disconnect here, you seem to think the game should be easier.

    i disagree.

maybe you should think about the argument from that perspective for a little while.

    i'll wait.

So based on your logic, every decision made by the developers are full proof and should not be subjected to change based on feedbacks?

  5. yes, it does make sense. you just dismissed it when i pointed it out earlier.

it's incentive to keep players together to foster CO-OPERATIVE PLAY.

Based on your definition of co-operative play, Trinitys blessing should be ranged based also. Infact all aura mods, and buffs should be ranged based only. Give you a while to think about that.

Ok now you should see why ranged affinity makes no sense.

  6. you keep referencing "out killing your teammates" like it's some sort of requirement.

did you READ the section I liked up there from the forums?

as long as you're near each other (50m) you share ALL affinity.

it doesn't matter who gets the most kills.

i play however i want NOW and don't get stressed out if they spread out.

mainly because, at a certain point in your warframe play, you'll be running with capped gear 90% of the time.

at which point affinity becomes, essentially, meaningless and focus takes over as your primary goal.

now the focus system is going to be re-vamped. but thats a separate issue.

what you're upset about is a non-issue in the larger scheme of the game.

Getting rid of the distance will be straight upgrade to the current system with no downsides. Its just makes no sense whatsoever to have a range limit for affinity gain.

  7. afk players can get affinity from this. A player that does more work gets less affinity. This would be broken and unfair for those doing all the work. Also would affect focus system as well. Horrible

If you want affinity by afking, you can always afk in Draco. There are always downside to progress, but that does not mean it should not be carried out.

  8. okay, let's look at that for a minute.

this game already fosters the rambo mentality, with many players shooting off in random directions, not helping each other and generally ignoring the multiplayer aspects of the game until they get their faces melted and then get upset when nobody comes to rescue them.

so you want to give a larger incentive for players to act that way?

personally, i'd say tighten that distance restriction to 30m.

Yes then you can play exactly how you want to play, instead of being stressed in keeping up with the rest of the team members or try and outkill the other party members. The fast pace of the game can never be changed, but the distance of affinity can be. In fact for sabotage, exterminate missions, it makes more sense to spread out and kill enemies or find the hidden cache. So splitting up can also be part of a team strategy. The bottomline remains the same, "you can play however you want to play and not be stressed out in outkilling your team mates if they spread out."

  9. this system has been exactly like this for as long as i've been here.

there are players that stick together and work together. and those that run off and play rambo.

i'll let you guess which ones are more useful to the overall playerbase.

Just because its been the same way for a long time does not automatically mean its a great system. This is a very fast paced game and its not surprising that many ppl just shoot off in different directions. Getting rid of the range limit for affinity will benefit everyone.

  10. where as the current system does exactly that if the players remain relatively close to each other. (fostering teamwork)

Which is a lousy system. This is warframe, not dungeons and dragons. People dont stay together for the most part, unless its defense mission. They are running all over the map. The range based affinity factor should be removed.

  11. i never had a problem with ash's spamming their ults, cause even if they get all the kills, i still get tons of exp

only problem i can see pop up from that is for focus farming, BUT, that's already in the works of getting a rework

They should make it such that you gain x amount of base exp for completing the mission + (y x no.of trash). After mission gets completed, everybody gets the exact same exp. Its simple and prevents all these BS tactics where you must play this and that way to maximize your exp gain. More players in party = faster mission gets done= more exp/ mission. Everyone is happy.
