Dual Cleavers are better than the Skana imo. You get the same 100% melee damage mod + a blast proc for CC and armor boost to take less health damage.
I don't seem to value a corrosive proc and max health boost.
i prefer them too, but excal has a passive that gives more dmg to one handed-swords(no nikanas), so that puts the dual cleavers below :(
-
But the mire is ugly :(
thats true haha, but the skana looks too plain, but if i had the skana prime, i'd be happy :P
-
Mods like Pressure Point don't apply to the Energy Waves.
so then the +100% Damage presumably also doesn't.
while the +100% Toxin, probably being classed as an Elemental/Physical Mod, probably does.
thats true mire also has the better wave, it gives you 25% base energy back(so 25energy) and 10% speed, while skana 25% health and more base health.
He's right, so you'd use Mire if you cared about the wave damage. You'd use Skana if you cared about the blade damage.
yup yup, but i feel like wave damage is really important since its the best part about the skill, guess it's all about preferences.
-
the Toxin Bonus is probably considered an Elemental by Exalted Blade.
i tried using corrosive on something that was neutral to it(dont remember what) and the mire did more dmg in excals fourth.
Plus shoudnt a 100% more dmg have tha same effect? since it also increases toxin bonus by 100%

Now that the syndicate waves work(again), it comes down to the mire and the prisma skana(since they have the passive bonus). The mire has the better waves(viral,25%energy and 10%speed) but the mod gives 100%poison dmg which should be worse than the 100% melee dmg of the skana augment. BUT after doing some testing in Excalibur in his 4th ability(with both weapons with the same mods, except the different augments) the mire did more dmg!!! Which makes me think how the mire mod really works??
Can anyone also try this and help me decide? TY :D
-
Not the ult, but excalibur himself
where did you find this out?
-
Try Mire (+10% attack speed and strength from longsword passive) with Toxic Blight, Molten Impact, Shocking Touch, Fever Strike, Volcanic, Voltaic (faction, when not in the void), Virulent status mods for gas+electric combo, and life strike, warframe for power and duration, and use blind before sending waves. Something like this. I tried this against a heavy gunner 95 lvl. Though the direct damage was something like 900, bleed procs dealt 12k damage and killed it in 3 ticks.
wow i did not know that the 4th had a passive :O anyway i know that there are ways around not using channeling builds, but i just find it unfair that the waves take energy away, even tho they dont gain any dmg...
PS where did you find the stuff from the passive?
-
Now the waves from excal's 4th start taking energy when channeling, which is fine, if only it also gained the bonus of channeling... The only channeling mod that works on the waves is life strike and the efficiency mods... that's it... so if you spam the waves(which in t4 late game, do minimal dmg) you waste 300 energy in 3 seconds... I am all for the cost of channeling, but i also want the gains of channeling... not just the downsides.

yay!!

i'm offering 20p each(might be willing to go up for multiple trades!)
-
still no fix for: when you host migrate while choosing to extract or stay, it makes you stay...
-
ty for update :D
-
i need as many as you guys can, 40p each

I'm sure everyone wants to know, just how much are arcane enchantments worth?
The ones that most people want are the common(or the real easy ones to get), anyway just give us a price for all three rarities(common, uncommon, rare).
thank you :D

when are the buffs for shotguns coming?

i think the void should be taken off. nowdays nobody runs normal missions(unless they are rep farming, or sechura runs). By taking out the void, the rewards can be spread around the start chart, where in certain planets, certain weapon or frame drops. Ex. ember prime drops in saturn, in certain missions. As of now the void is the go-to mission, and it shouldn't be that way, with over 200 missions in the starchart.
-
well i like the change, but i mostly did rep farm, for power lvling crap weapons lol.
-
Don't get it wrong, asking if in doubt is perfect, but in things like this one on wether or not use a certain mod on a frame/weapon involves a very personal playstyle, and unless you try it yourself you will not know which one is the best to fit yours.
As an example, I use a maxed shred on my Braton Prime, this because I really love unch through in most of my primaries. While putting the formas I asked if it'd be a bad ammo consumpion issue with the ammo poll at 375, I was told, several times, that I'd be, yet when I finished putting the formas and tried it myseld it allows me to quickly click on a mob for a burst that will kill him and the dudes behind and mantain a fast paced gameplay. If I'd have stayed with the opinion of most people I could have addapted sure, but I wouldn't have had the experience of deciding myself.
sorry you feel that way, all i did was ask for advice on something...
I need to rephrase my statements because he severely misinterpreted what I said?
also all i did was tell you that you should really read my question before you wrote your comment. Sorry to say but you really didn't help with that comment in anyway... When you have nothing good to say, don't say anything.
-
Why do people always ask "is heavy caliber good on X" Why not just try it and see for yourself? We aren't able to decide if it fits your playstyle or not, only you can.
as i said in my post i already tried it, and said i felt that it made me miss many headshots, and asked for advice... less troll more reading :P
-
i find it very hard to get headshots with heavy cal, even at rank 7, I KNOW you can get head shots, but i feel like a lot of bullets go to waste in the process. In terms of dps boltor P beats the soma, but if you for headshots it's a whole different story. any advice?
-
I get that but I liked the utility of running high negative duration for the spam of the silence thus having a stun every ~4 seconds but it seems like the mod card needs duration
i like that build too, but that build just doesn't work right with the new augment mod. I just use silence when in trouble and for just normal CC i use her first skill.

volt and amprex, BEST FRIENDS FOREVER!

well instead of spamming sonar, you can just use it once, actually it's even faster, and really gives you a chance to focus on other things, like power.
-
You are probably not looking for existing routes hard enough.
happens mostly in corpus missions. both doors are locked, with orange lights on them. looked everywhere for other entrance.
Which Syndicate Weapon For Excal?(Mire Bug?)
in Players helping Players

for me lifestrike is a must! specially since you can just use radial blind, channel and regain all your life back with just one finisher! the rest i go,
Augment
Pressure point
Fury
Focus energy
90% poison
90% fire
dual stat poison(this can be changed in something else, i just like to have some more status chance)
With this plus 200% str excal, i hit 10k waves in t4 exterm
Oh and also the mire argument only increases poison dmg, NOT overall dmg, which is a much greater boost!(but after testing it doesnt affect the waves, but it was never such a huge difference to go for the mire)
