  1. Because dropping off Tenno or extracting Tenno is already risky enough. Dropping off a payload with equipment adds to that risk. What would happen if someone else got to the payload first? Vor had killed and taken a few Warframes/Tenno already. AND Alad V had collected plenty of Warframes to splice them into his Valkyr... We really don't need to be giving people more chances to get their hands on our armor/bodies/corpses/VR-headsets

    I think Razer has a game booster app...

    But any apps that are necessary will start up on their own - regardless of game booster - or you're going to crash your operating system or a driver or something else important. Most people have a lot of crap running in the background that they can safely close and keep closed.

    I have a few ships for Warframe. Only a few. I promise, just a few... I do NOT have head cannon plot candies for every frame... Honestly?

    Here goes. Roughly in alphabetical order xD

    • Ash and Nyx. Being sneaky sneaky together. Performing covert operations together and finding out that they would literally give their lives for each other.
    • Atlas and Hyrdoid. So stronk together. I can't help but picture the two of them getting so hyped over each other's well toned bodies. Oof, I would pay a lot of money to watch that.
    • Banshee and Mag with Octavia trying to steal Banshee until Banshee gets annoyed and silences all of Octavia's music. Then Octavia goes away, getting all upset. While Banshee and Mag are quite happily settling down together.
    • Chroma... Waiting for an adventurer to come after his treasure? Or looking to steal a princess?
    • Equinox with himself, as a fusion. His day half and night half love each other are are one for each other. So sweet, yet so sad. They can never touch or feel each other. Can never meet without being one and the same.
    • Ember, Volt, and Frost be in a poly relationship together. Things sometimes get awkward and Volt gets really jealous and Ember is always getting angry at the two of them. But they make it work.
    • Excalibur is always trying to prove himself to Rhino-senpai but Rhino is too protective of him.
    • Gara has a small crush on Mesa but is too afraid to say anything to her. While Mesa has yet to realize why she likes hanging out in Cetus with Gara... Hint: It's because Mesa fancies Gara.
    • Harrow be getting real kinky with Nezha. And Nezha is down with! With chains and divine spears, the two of them live that BDSM life.
    • Inaros and Nekros constantly bicker about who gets to keep the dead like they are divorced parents. Annoying. Really annoying. But they occasionally have some of the hottest hate sex.
    • Ivara and Khora have a sisterhood and enjoy hunting together and are total BFFs! They fight for each other and would die for each other. Nothing can divide these two sisters.
    • Limbo just started dating Mirage and now Loki is all the jealous. But Mirage never liked Loki to begin with because of how full of himself he can be. Limbo, however, is the perfect gentleman with her.
    • Niuds and Saryn. A power couple that laughs at the petty relationship problems that everyone else is going through. They've been together for a long time and will be together for even longer. These two are in it for the long haul, theri relationship able to endure and overcome anything.
    • Nova... Too cool for anyone else. Just enjoying life, having fun, comfortable being herself. Nova spends most of her time on research, always learning and forever developing.
    • Oberon and Titania are each other's king and queen and rule together. Madly in love with each other ever since they first met.
    • Trinity has been Valkyr's psychiatrist for a long time now, since Alad V. But Trinity has feelings for Valkyr and is terrified that she is being unprofessional. While Valk flat out loves Trin and won't see anyone else as her therapist. However, just as Trin is afraid of revealing her feelings to Valk for fear of being seen as unprofessional, Valk is similarly afraid of confessing to Trin for fear that she will lose her trusted therapist.
    • Vauban is far too obsessed with his work to notice anyone else. Zephyr gets really lonely flying alone and she wishes she had someone to fly with. So she asked Vauban to make some Archwings for her next date, but then slightly started to fall for Vauban. Not that he would ever notice...
    • Wukong is always messing around and no one takes him seriously. Too bad he has a thing for Titania, even though she won't give him the time of day.

    Soooo... Anyone got any ships or little plot candies or head cannons for favourite instruments of war?

The Sentients built an interstellar solar rail in the system they colonized (it linked to the Outer Terminus solar rail built ahead of time by the Orokin) and used it to travel back to the solar system. But, solar rails use void energy for ftl travel, and the void energy exposure from using the solar rail is what left the Sentients that travelled to the solar system unable to reproduce.

    Same reasons as any universe that has time travel: The risk of himself in an infinite loop, limiting what can be done. The risk of destroying himself. The risk of altering the future in unforeseen or unpredictably ways, require absolute precision in Hunhow's actions when time travelling. Limitations to the technology, allowing only one trip through time, or costing a lot of energy and requiring a lot of time to prepare it or repeat it. Some form of sickness or degeneration caused by time travel (which I would imagine that Warframes would be immune to this since the obvious answer is Void energy).

    Does not ruin the lore in any way. We've seen missions on Lua that use limited time travel or a sort of time control/lock/stasis on an area. Could even add to the lore, explaining how the Sentients were able to travel over such vast distances with a speed they do not show in any of their other forms of travel. Lotus becoming infertile could quite possibly be a side effect of the aforementioned degeneration of time travel. IF done right it could be a great addition to the lore and universe.

    Hunhow could send someone not Void-intolerant back, such as Stalker, to his bidding for him.

    Overall, a cool idea. Notably Terminator like XD But that's a good thing in its own way. However, seems like DE have big plans for Hunhow and this would require resources and time that to be drawn away from his main agenda. If he even wants to destroy the Warframes. With the advent of Umbra, it may be possible that he wants to convert them or use them himself.

  9. I REALLY like this! It's really cool and fulfills my love of the old Wolfman movies! God I love those movies!!!

     

    Some cool artwork, though it may look a little too much like medieval armor. Maybe more armor than frame. But the armor-like design works and feels like it fits into a sort of Germanic werewolf story xD

     

    Hmm... Anything that I think may help or improve? Maybe, and this is a big MAYBE, I think that the fourth ability should only gain a Rage charge when you kill an enemy while channeling your melee weapon? Means that you don't stack them crazy high and get an insane cut to your other power's costs.

  10. The main reason I don't use my Helminth is that when he goes down and I don't rez him in time, he dies and his happiness goes down... Feels like it just slides down constantly cause later in the game standing still to rez someone is dangerous. At least players can move when down, revive, or work as team before going down. But a mindless kubrow/kavat goes where it wants and does what it wants, mostly, so they go down in some of the worst places that just are NOT worth rezzing. So I leave my Helminth on my ship unless I'm doing something easier that I know won't get them killed

    I wanted for this mod to be better than Hammer Shot, at the expense of losing the Status Chance. I feel that it does that. If you still think it sounds over-powered, then perhaps you could give a possible replacement that would still have a reason to be used?

  12. All good except for the critical damage, I think. 90% critical damage is insane! Sniper's usually have a high crit chance and high critical damage and you're usually goign for headshots or weak points with them. A lower critical damage may make it a lot less over powered.

  13. Update: Made a LOT of changes. But I'll list them to the best of my ability.

    • Cylock's old 1st ability has been scraped in favour of changes to her passive.
    • Her old 2nd ability (System Link) is now her 3rd, her old 3rd ability (System Burst) is now her 4th, and her old 4th ability (Wave Burst) has been removed.
    • Added in a new 2nd ability that gives Cylock some more support use.
    • Changes and balances have been made to all of her abilities and herself
      • Increased her energy pool.
      • The damage threshold for her Cephalon has been increased from 45 to 65.
      • System Link now has potential to restore more Shields due to the higher number of enemies that can be pinged.
      • Likewise, System Burst now has potential to damage more enemies due to the higher number that can be pinged.
      • No longer relies on Magnetic damage and her System Link ability no longer makes use of the pointless Disrupt status. Instead it will stun any enemies without Shields, making her offer a little CC against the Grineer and Infested factions.
    • The Cephalon is now affected by Cylock's stats, using Ability Efficiency, Range, and Duration.
    • Fixed the typo and updated the stats to the Augment Mod, which now works with System Burst (bumped from being her 3rd ability to her 4th) instead of the old Wave Burst (now removed).

    Any and all changes or suggestions or recommendations will be listened to and most likely applied. So please let me know of anything that could be better! Thank you!!!

    First Problem, this has a forced synergy. You need to use your first ability to use the other abilities and with a very small Energy pool, that turns from a mild annoyance to a major problem. 

    Second, her 4th ability is a combination of her 2nd and 3rd ability.

    Third, Disrupt reduces the shield capacity of units soooo that's really not useful if they no longer have shields. Magnetic damage and disrupt is useless against any faction aside from Corpus so you're limiting the usefulness of this warframe. 

    Suggestions :

    1) Make her Ping ability a passive, because her current passive is to have a unit that can do what exactly? It's basically just a "Dummy" that can be targeted by her abilities. Make the Cephalon randomly/periodically ping. Make her first ability a command that forces the cephalon to move and ping a location. This way, targeting the cephalon with her abilities would make more sense as it gives you more control. You should also add something like a taunt or a stun to this because having a first ability that is useless without the her other abilities is just stupid. Next, her "PINGS" should only add bonuses instead of being a requirement for her abilities. Example : System Link will reduce enemy shields, She will receive shields from Pinged targets. 

    2) If we follow the changes above, I would suggest to make her 2nd, 3rd, and 4th ability just her 3rd or 4th. Since as mentioned earlier they are pretty similar(If your going to make this her fourth ability, a great way to make this powerful would be to cause her to release the effects through all pinged units). As for the other ability slots let's look at her current abilities. 1 is a small disable, 3rd is a damage with some defensive aspects. On you're 2nd ability, you can either put a mobility skill or a buff. Her other ability could either be damage or cc, your choice. When thinking of this skills, think of how they will function without the ping aspect first. Make sure that they are unique from each other. 

    3) Don't focus on one damage type. You're theme is not locked to an element. You can use any damage type that you wish if you phrase it correctly. 

    So, here's to hoping I address everything.

    Very much like your ideas for her passive and first ability. Definitely going to add those in place of her current passive and first. Moving the Cephalon around would be cool and fun to use, plus give her more field coverage, though I have concerns about her having too much of a range advantage?

    Her second shall be a buff, I think. She's sort of leaning towards a support-type frame in my head. Maybe a sort of discharge of her Cephalon, releasing Energy and/or Shields to any players within range but killing the Cephalon. The Cephalon respawns, which acts as a sort of cool down for this ability. Gives the player a chance of an instant use at the loss of building up pinged targets for her 3rd and 4th abilities. Let me know what you think.

    And thank you for noticing that it was Channeling Efficiency instead of Ability Efficiency. But the idea was that with a temporary buff (should really increase that percentage) to Ability Efficiency you can have the Cephalon pet respawn faster if it has died. I'll have to change quite about the Link Burst Augment Mod. 1% is low, I'm not very good with stats.

    A question that is less about function and more about appearance: Should the Cephalon's colour be selected using the system I've already got? Or would basing it off the frame's energy colour be better?

    Any other advice or recommendations?

  15. UPDATE: I guess this would count as my first nerf:

    • System Burst and Wave Burst - abilities three and four - no longer work in combination with their previous Naramon mods. Not only did I think that could make her a little over powered, but I felt that the did not fit the over all theme. Particularly with the change from Electricity to Magnetic damage, System Link's old combination (Voltage Sequence) felt really out of place.
    • To make up for the lack of the fourth ability gaining a bonus from a certain mod, I made it an Augment Mod.
  16. UPDATE: Only two small changes and an addition to System Link have been made.

    • Her abilities now deal Magnetic damage instead of Electricity. Due to her similarities to Volt being pointed out I wanted to remove Electricity due to the status chance of chain lightning. Now I'm sure she will be likened to Mag.
    • And an upgrade to System Link so that it is actually useful against enemies who do not have a Shield. Now, if an enemy does not have any Shields and only if, then there is a chance that the Disrupt status will be applied to them.
    • The total number of targets you can have pinged by her first Ability and the number of nearby allies whose Shields will be recovered by her second Ability are now affected by Ability Efficiency instead of Ability Strength.
