Volt.
A lot of frames have a 'weakpoint' skill that's only really useful in very rare instances. Vauban's bounce, Loki's Switch Teleport, Excal's Super Jump, Nyx's Psychic Bolts, etc. Despite that, I always find myself using every one of Volt's skills.
-
Linking the planets to events seemed like a promising idea at first, as we have Earth, Mars, and Jupiter which can be tied to the Cicero Crisis, the Gradivus Dilemma, and the Hunt for Alad V respectively. The only problem is that I can't seem to find anything relating to Saturn or Asteroids.
-
Earth and Mars are both Terrestrial Planets, and Jupiter and Saturn are both Jovian Planets. The Asteroid belt is directly in between the Terrestrial Planets and the Jovian Planets. Pluto comes after the Jovian Planets, and in the trailer for Vor's Prize the Twin Queens send Vor to Pluto. *Tin Foil Hat Engages*

If you judged every frame by a single ability, they'd all seem pretty lackluster. Zephyr with just Dive Bomb, Loki with just Switch Teleport, Frost with just Ice Wave, Rhino with just Roar. They're all very unique abilities, but without the other 3 you simply don't have the same frame. Volt with just Electric Shield, Nova with just Null Star, Hydroid with just Undertow, Nyx with just Psychic Bolts. The reason every frame has 4 abilities is to create a theme and to make it effective overall. Vauban with just Tesla, Valkyr with just Warcry, Mag with just Bullet Attractor, Ember with just Accelerant, Ash with just Shuriken.
Wait until we actually have the entire frame to judge it.

And now that we have a response from DE, this thread can be updated from "Literally the Sun" status to "The Second Big Bang".
-
I think it's safe to say that this topic has advanced from "Hot Topic" to "Literally the Sun".
-
I think we just set a record for fastest 50 pages of replies to a single topic. We've surpassed the weeklong U14 hype thread in a matter of hours. Hopefully that says something to the people in charge at DE.
-
Ironically, it seems that the only truly perfect world is one wherein none of us have to deal with Perfect World.
-
31 pages, at least 3 prominent internet forums, and 2 legit looking sources, yet still no official response from DE. I don't know whether I should be worried or If I should just start packing my bags now.
-
Happened to me as well. I assumed that we wouldn't have to worry about decay times due to what was stated in the FAQ of the connection issues thread.
Incredibly annoying, considering I only needed 1 of the 4 I had for the Dragon Nikana.

Got it on Cambria after 5 runs or so.
I was glad it didn't take too long after half of my clan kept claiming they got it from transmutation, which would have eventually driven me to waste all of my rare mods and credits.

Also, on the "just trade for them", 1: If they take the cards out of the drop table, who will have any to trade? and 2: so now I have to spend plat to get something that I currently don't have to spend plat on, because you want more ammo drums? o.0
Anyone who's played the game for 100-200+ hours is going to have at least one extra copy of just about every ability mod. I had nearly 100 mind control mods once. I sold a bunch of them, but my collection is rebuilding itself very, very quickly.
No one says you have to spend plat on them. Give the other player another mod, a part, a key, or a blueprint.
Hell, you could even give them one of your Ammo Drums.
-
Honestly, if someone really needed an underleveled ability mod that much, they could just trade for one. Pretty simple solution, if you ask me.
Just take them out of the drop tables, for the love of god.

I'm so tough that-
Wait a second, I'm a sentient Artificial Intelligence program that can do more calculations in 1 tenth of a second than a human brain can in 4.337 years. I don't need to be tough! I'm a genius! I can rule the world, blow it up, then rebuild it and blow it up again!
(But just for the record, I'm so tough that I drank lava out of a coffee cup.)
(Without any sugar.)

It's not that no one's trying to help you, mate. People are trying to tell you that unless you broaden your search (AKA: Take away some of the strict criteria) you're not going to find anything else. Honestly, you've most likely completely exhausted the list of games that fit your criteria perfectly. If you refuse to change anything (trying Steam, etc.) you're pretty much stuck with what you've already tried.

Everyone find cover! there's gonna be a massive fangirl meltdown as soon as Sam sees it!

It could be this ship just so happened to have 'every warframe' on it. Id think it more likely it require many ships and many subjects each ship likely coming back with only a small number. I can't imagine they sent in one ship and just 'oh hey we made all the frame we will ever need in one go, good job people, our work is done here.'
Excalibur's codex entry states that "Excalibur was the first", meaning that there was some sort of chronological order to the creation of the different Tenno.
Actually, thinking about it now, this also supports the theory that the Orokin government knew full well what the Void did to the children. They sent in one ship, out came Excalibur, the perfect warrior. They send in another, out comes another Tenno with another set of abilities, perhaps Loki or Rhino. They now have the perfect way of making an endless super-army, why stop there?
Send in another, out comes Ember.

Well, we don't really know what was going on in the big universe at the time. If the Sentients were attacking while this happened, I'd say its pretty likely that the military (which is who I'm reading was responsible for this) put the kids on the ship; if they weren't, though, then it seems a little... strange that someone would try that experiment - or, at least, it's bad writing. If they did it JUST to see what would happen, than that's horribly, irredeemably evil and, imo, just isn't interesting.
I'd say that the Sentients were almost definetely attacking at the time. Why else would they keep a group of freakishly powerful children under military protection until they were old enough to wear a suit of armor?
So you send Orokin to the Void, then they return with mutations that allow them to manipulate matter and energy. Interesting theory, but it doesn't explain the Tenno mindset (space ninja). From what we know so far, the Orokin were worlds apart from the Tenno in terms of beliefs and other factors (subtlety and utilitarianism for the Tenno vs. balls-to-the-wall-yolo-lemme-cover-errbody-in-gold-Orokin). Any theories for that?
Basically what Morec0 said. These kids had powers of mass destruction. The military would have kept them in solitary confinement and trained them to use their powers until they were old enough to be put in suits and brought to war. They were never introduced to the Orokin's incredibly extravagant social world.

So, if you haven't already noticed, Ember's codex entry was updated with U12. Now, it includes a small story about an Orokin(?) military officer named Kaleen. If you haven't read it yet, I suggest you do before reading the rest of this thread. (It can be found in the in-game codex or on Ember's wiki page.)
Now, let's start from the beginning, shall we?
The story tells of a ship (presumably a space one) named the Zariman. The ship was destroyed while making the 'fold' between Saturn and the Outer Gate.
Now let's look at this for a moment, as it will become very important later on. "The fold". What do we call a fold in space? A wormhole. What is the most popular form of wormhole in Warframe? The Void.
Kaleen, the military officer sent to investigate the Zariman's destruction, tells those in the room with her about how 'Nothing ever returns from the fold.' But, this time, the Zariman did just that. It returned. Not only did it return, it returned in perfect condition, absolutely no damage. There was one thing missing, however. The entire crew. In their place, the investigators found children.
Kaleen, wanting to comfort the children, broke quarantine (presumably a quarantine on any lifeform that returns from the 'fold'). In doing so, the child horribly burned her entire body.
Many people seem to think that Kaleen is Ember, and while that could be a valid hypothesis, absolutely nothing supports it. "Kaleen is covered in burn scars, she must be Ember!" No, one of my friends has burn scars, doesn't mean she's a fire-flinging space ninja.
What is supported by this, however, is the theory that the child is Ember. I'll come back to this in a minute, but let me stockpile my evidence first.
Let's take a look at yet another codex entry: Excalibur's. Excalibur's Codex entry is a journal from the Orokin Archives that talks about the origins of the Tenno. Whenever a ship went into the void, the Orokin on board became 'twisted'. Upon returning, they were placed inside Warframes to channel their affliction.
So, here's where that part about the 'fold' being the Void comes into play. If the Zariman returned from the void, then the crew would have become 'twisted'.
See where this fits in now?
Okay, the reasons why the child is Ember:
-She horribly burns Kaleen, proving that she can 'superheat the air around her'.
-She was found on a ship that had returned from the Void and had its crew 'twisted'. From the evidence we have, I'd say that the 'twisted affliction' is being turned into a child with horrifying powers.
-At the end of Ember's codex entry, the woman interviewing Kaleen refuses to tell her what she did with the children. From Excalibur's codex entry, we can gather that the crew members were put into Warframes not long after returning from the Void. Now, if you were a military general, fighting an unbeatable enemy (if we're assuming that these people are Orokin, then the enemy would be the Sentients) and the only hope you have of beating them is putting children with strange powers inside suits of armor and sending them to war, that's not something you want to be sharing around.
So, if any of this is correct, then Ember's codex entry just showed us exactly how the Tenno were formed.
Now, there may be things I missed, overlooked, or got wrong, so feel free to correct me or add your own ideas below.

Was a member a while back but took a brief hiatus from Warframe for some time. I've recently gotten back into the game and would be interested in rejoining.
