  1. Alright fellow Tenno. Since DE decided to change Viver, what is the current best place to farm for xp? Needing to rank up all these junk weapons.

  2. . no one is expecting to get the gear in days. The problem is DE set the bar so high that it would have taken players years to unlock...if they ever got them at all.

Not even close. I play casually and made it to rank two in about two weeks. Really, you guys make it no fun for yourself, because you're all focused on the goal, rather than the route you take to get there. The game is still fun, you're just focusing too much on syndicate rewards, which are something that I view as a secondary objective.

  3. actually irl if someone dual wielded they usually used either 2 short swords or a long sword and a short sword/dagger. the off hand weapon was used mainly for parrying or quick jabs while the longer weapon did majority of the damage. as someone who has actually trained with the use of multiple melee weapons, wielding 2 full sized katanas or long swords can be a bit unwieldy. It's alot harder to do than it is shown in the movies or in anime.

When I was training for my black belt in tai kwan do, we were required to master a weapon. I asked if I could do dual wielded swords. My instructor laughed in my face. Few years later I'm studying old style samurai kenjutsu, and everything I read tells me I'm $&*&*#(%& for wanting to dual wield long swords. Turns out I watch too much anime. Actually tried it in real life, It's impossible. Not even joking. You clip constantly, it's almost impossible to hold the edge to your enemy, and you look really stupid doing it.

  4. Dude, just play Valkyr, put steel charge on, with duration mods and spam her 2 to give you extra melee damage. I never even need to use my ult, I just tear through infested with my dual heat swords and dual zorens for everything else.

  5. Well there are people who complained before that it was too dark.

It is kinda of a catch 22 thing.

On my rig back in U8, it was fine. Sure visibility was poor, but i could still see my foes silhouettes.

But my buddy was complaining he can barely see even staircases and he actually got lost trying to navigate those stair cases.

I can understand that, but honestly, it's not hard to turn the brightness up on your monitor

  6. I feel one way to settle the infested issue is this.

Infested ships should have little to no lights. Because of the lack of 'living' beings, the reactors are probably in standby, meaning most likely no power to the lights. Therefore, the only lights on the map should be emergency lamps, locker lights, and maybe a few flickering chemical lights. That, or give it a red light, such as that used on naval vessels.

If they go with the no light route, then there should be a craft able night vision thing you have to build. Now keep in mind that the infested are the weakest faction. This gives us an opportunity to give ourselves a handicap. Fear is generated by the things we can't see, or that which we have brief glimpses of. This causes our minds to jump to wild conclusions. Therefore I believe if they did this, they would need to do visual updates, so that we think we know what's coming, but what actually is coming terrifies us.

This night vision would be in the green spectrum obviously, which would make the infested appear in forms of dark green and black. This alone, not quite scary. Combine this with an updated music score, and new infested sounds, and most likely you'll have people with elevated heart rates.

What I would suggest is to go with the emergency red lighting. This would work the best with the infested color scheme. Make it dark enough that a crawler can leap at you from a corner, making you shriek and spray your whole magazine at them. This combined with a specific music score would create a decent atmosphere.

The best idea I have is this. Total blackness. A few sparse emergency lamps, and your flashlight is all you have. There's no music, and space is really quiet, so all you can hear is your own footsteps, the hum of the reactor, and your beating heart. Anybody who's played true horror games know that this is the best way to create tension. Occasionally you'll hear an infested shriek, but it echoes, so you don't know where it's coming from. This makes you look around wildly to figure out where it is. This is the kind of mission that would make those mods that we never use more useful. The mods that make you quiet, give you radar, etc. The whole point is that if you get noticed, you're pretty much screwed since you have very limited vision. I don't know about you, but I'd piss myself.

If you're still reading, you're awesome, thank you.

  7. Instead of voices I'd take a sort of character creator where you simply create a face for each of your warframes. It keeps in line with how DE wants the tenno out own people and not predefined characters. Something simple like what Destiny has. It adds to the uniqueness of our characters.

    .....no. That's a horrible idea.
