  1. I like my kubrow, but once I started playing with a carrier with a deth rifle, I really don't want to go back. It's too expensive to maintain a kubrow, when I could be using those credits to upgrade mods on my sentinel.

  2. I'm seeing something like either a tiger or a lion, where you can go with stealthy, like a tiger, or straight up S#&$ ton of damage like a lion. I'd kinda like to see a giant cat just tear the S#&$ out of somebody

  3. Nononono

Your not getting my point. TO be able to survive for 20 minutes in a T4 you need to have alot of high level mods eg Split Chamber, Serration, Hell Fire, Cryo Rounds, Infected Clip, Speed Trigger, Ammo Mutation (some times), Heavy Calibre, etc.

    Then your seconday,

    Then your melee,

    Then your warframe,

    Then your kubrow/sentinel

Thats a LOT of fusion cores needed. A LOT

Have you considered the possibility that you suck? I play oberon in t4s and survive to 30+ consistently, and I've only played for about 3 months casually. It's not hard, you just suck.

  4. ^we also have to wonder why would the Tenno keep helping either faction on invasions knowing how common it is for them to be betrayed. At that point why wouldnt we just wreck the entire ship and kill everyone in the first place since thats what we'll have to do anyway xD

Uhhh because the Tenno are clearly poor as S#&$ and need credits to continue their operations. So they take the risk to get the reward

  5. I kinda agree with you on Lephantis. The first time my crew ran it, we didn't know what to expect, so it turned into a half hour slugging match. Last week I went with some randoms from recruiting chat, and we ran him 7 times in under an hour. Once you know what you're doing, it's easy to burst him down.

  6. If you could go 50 minutes without a nekros, then I don't think this discussion would exist. I don't know if im the only one calling BS here (especially with the AT LEAST part) , but I haven't managed to go past 30 minutes without a nekros in a T4S. Then again, I haven't really tried without a nekros except maybe once or twice purely for testing purposes with a team.

Have you explored the possibility that either you, or the people you play with simply aren't very good? I've only been playing for a few months and my buddies and I consistently last till 50 without a nekros. It's about playing smarter.

  7. Tiles are random, yes. I have had a high success rate when with groups that don't try to be hallway heroes. I've done it with a multitude of frames and compositions, and as long as the group plays correctly, we only have to leave when the enemy level or density gets too high. And this is without Nekros or Vauban. Just a matter of playing correctly. Completely RNG free? Not in Warframe. RNG dependent or needing changes to make Survival viable? Not on your life. Just a matter of controlling spawns, staying a way from doors, and encouraging mobs to behave in a way that supports Survival as a mission type. And Trin+Loki+Nova could theoretically go for hours, and that's assuming the fourth (if you even use the fourth) just afks. Play smarter. If it seems harsh, maybe it is. RNG in mob drops and void would be a bigger problem than a bit of survival and "learn to play" issues.

I'm tired of everybody saying Nekros is necessary when he isn't. I've done runs before using only frost, oberon, loki and valkyr. Frost makes a bubble, we all stay in it and shoot except for loki who goes and melees everybody, valkyr pops hysteria to revive when needed. It's not hard to get up to 50+ that way. If you play smarter and not harder, you'll do fine.

  8. The only problems with this are

    1) either you wear the warframe, in which case it would be obvious, no amount of cloth is going to cover up those crazy antlers on Oberon, or Loki's screwed up heard.

    2) you don't wear the warframe, in which case DE has to make a design for the Tenno, which people would argue and *@##$ about because it doesn't look like the way they think it should. Pretty much defeats the point.

  9. you would hallucinate an infested Tenno that you would have to defeat and could drop infested weapon parts and maybe a mutagen sample or two.

You just answered your own question. It would be a hallucination. It wouldn't drop anything because it wouldn't be real.

  10. I feel like if you aren't weighted down by both a primary and secondary weapon, then you should be able to move faster and swing your sword faster. For example, in all of the CoD games(hold on, give me a chance) the speed at which you can run depends on the weapons you have equipped. If for instance you have a giant SAW equipped, you run much slower than someone with say, a sawed off shotgun. Now, let's say you ditch the Supra and the giant Fragor. You should be able to run much faster with just you Bronco prime. Or if you ditch the primary and secondary, you're going to be able to swing that Galatine just a little bit faster, and with slightly more strength. You're also going to run out of stamina slower.

  11. Someone whined about my name, a name that wouldn't be offensive to anybody over the age of 17 (which you must be 17 to play this game anyways). Seriously DE, we're all adults. Don't cave into the idiots, let us have our fun. Let us keep our names.

  12. I'm not really talking about shoulder mounted, that was just the inspirational thought, I'm talking about lugging this weapon around at the hip. Thank you DarkTails, I agree with your statement, I still would love to have one just for the sake of it, even if it didn't do much damage,I simply used Vulcan as an example of what I am talking about, but if it was a gattling gun it would have a slower rate of fire, about 30-40 Rounds/Second which would even out the damage/RoF issue people could complain about (although lets face it, people would still complain). Also I say "disposable" mounted guns because I see those lasers in the Orokin Void Defense tile, and I would much prefer having a mounted gun so I can keep the XP. instead of some contingency plan to "ACTIVATE THE LASORS!!" when things get rough and everyone loses XP, or some newbie thinks every time you get bum-rushed is the end of the world so he turns on those stupid lasers and kills half the team.

So kinda like in Halo, where there are mounted turrets with infinite ammo, but you can rip them off to run around with? That actually would be pretty cool on defense. Have the lotus come up and say something like "hold on Tenno, I'm sending in heavy weapons" then boom, turret drops down and Rhino jumps on and starts blasting. Then he rips it off and runs around laughing like the heavy while munching a sandwich...Holy S#&$ DE make this a thing!

  13. Primary: Latron Wraith, Dread, and Tetra (mostly cause it's badass looking)

Secondary: Bronco Prime on fast missions, Angstrum on defense or survival (I built mine to do radiation damage and maxed my status chance so I can take out swarms)

Melee: Against corpus, the Amphis for the electric slam, Fragor for the knockdown( used it on a tier 4 survival once, went off on my own for 40 minutes before I had to join back up, Dual heat swords for the AoE fire damage and awesome looking stances

  14. Do you guys even know how much it costs to run a server to host thousands of people at any given time? As well as pay to keep their building, pay their employees, keep their electricity on. You do realize they're a business right? Nothing in this game is hard to get unless you're lazy as hell.

  15. Are you talking about the formorian stuff? I feel you're talking about the formorian stuff. Also the other day there was a thread about mega bosses, like ancients the size of lephantis. That could be fun I guess. Or have each faction (excluding infested) have a so called special forces team that is much more powerful than the normal faction.

  16. Dojo's should have a doggy park for my doggy to play with teh other doggies. And we can just sit there and watch them play, or interact and throw a ball, like for the raksa, or wrestle with the sunika, or play hide and seek with that other one.

  17. Not sure where this should go, but today I've joined at least a dozen games in recruiting, and around half of them give me a mission failed notice as soon as the game starts.
