  1. A long, hard grind. Prime stuff is your best bet. Research, too. Look into what frames are selling high at the moment, and then go hit up the wiki to see what relics drop the frame parts. From there, figure out what place drops those relics, and set in for the farm - Excavation is usually best.

It would never go back to DE. No plat would be removed from the system. If plat is just circulated between players then eventually there is no reason to inject any into the system, there is more than enough changing hands. Every time someone buys something from the market and plat goes back to DE they make money in a sense, that plat is removed from the system, and someone has to buy more plat to replace it to buy things with.

I'm shocked we can trade certain things already (like ship parts and lenses and such) instead of being forced to buy them from DE.

Basically this. As far as the trading system goes, DE is incredibly generous. No other game I've played allows player such free reign over the games economy. I'm actually surprised that the economy works, with how many different items can be traded, for the exact reasons Shockwave said - Most of the plat goes player to player, very little of it goes to game purchases that remove it from the system.

Wait since when did they even have that rule? Cuz i cant remember the time they were following it.

It's an unwritten rule that applies to pretty much everything. In most situations, if you try and fix something that isn't broken, you're gonna wind up making it worse. I think thats what happened here, they tried to "Fix" the way you acquire primed mods, when it wasn't broken to start with.

  4. I can't say I disagree. I'm in a similar boat as the OP, although not as extreme. There are many days when I just don't have the time to log in to warframe. Literally not the 10 minutes it takes. The days I do play, though, I play for 5-8 hours a shift. Now, I don't have any real desire for Shred (I dont use shotguns, really) but it is the idea that bugs me. It's not that it's a login reward - Its that you can only get it as a login reward. What I like about Baro Ki'Teer and him selling primed mods, is that it doesn't necessarily reward those who are fortunate enough to be able to log in every day, it rewards those who put the time and effort into the game. IMO, the devs broke the golden rule here: If it isn't broken, don't fix it.

It'd also be useless if one item worked for one Nullifier. I mean, the longer you go in some missions, the more Nullifiers there are.

I dunno. I've gone decently far in some endless missions, and I don't remember seeing much more than 4 nullifiers in the same place. By the time you've gone that far, I think the challenge is probably justified.

  6. I don't entirely disagree...I think the stalker should be endgame strong. I think that players should feel fear when they see their screen flicker and hear the stalkers voice. Once upon a time the stalker used to do that for me...Not anymore. Stalkers strength should also definitely scale to the number of people in a lobby. There's no way you can make a stalker challenging to a 4 player lobby and not impossible for a single person or challenging to a single player but a cakewalk for a full lobby otherwise.

  7. Hey all, so I've been thinking a while. Everyone I've spoke to on the subject agrees with me: Nullifiers are annoying. Not necessarily hard, not in a good way at least, but just annoying. I also notice that cryotic tends to build up in peoples inventories. So I thought on it for a while, and I believe that a consumable would be a good way to fix both issues.

Now, there's a lot of different ways that this could work, but I think the best way, is implement a new item that is crafted using cryotic and some other odds and ends, with a reusable blueprint similar to the ones for health packs (And the quarter million credit blueprint for 10x). I think the best way for this new consumable to work, is that a player equips it, they can use it, just like a health or energy pack, and it provides them with a 30 second ability to disable any nullifier shield they touch, obviously the ability would only work on one shield. To balance it, there should be a cooldown between uses. As far as lore, or the technicalities of it, cold seems to have considerable negative effects on shields, evident by the coolant leak tilesets. Cryotic is, basically, a cold crystal. The consumable essentially freezes a nullifiers shield, using the cryotic, into nonexistence.

The way I suggested the above feature, should be, as I understand it with my admittedly limited knowledge of coding, relatively easy to implement. It requires no new drops or resources, simply a couple new blueprints, a new consumable, and a basic mechanic.

Thoughts? Opinions? I'll gladly clarify anything I said in here.

  8. I'm just not going to read the football fields of text above this, so forgive me if I'm repeating something already stated.

It takes around 2 minutes to run through my ENTIRE dojo, that includes all the labs, oracle, dueling room, reactors, elevators, and halls. If you really can't spare 2 minutes of your life for that, then there may be a problem.

That being said, it would be good to not have to sprint around the dojo looking for the damn labs.

  9. Well, I never made an introduction. Ever. Because I was too lazy. But now that I have time, I will.

My name is Dawgtagz. To better understand my usernames, I make them up from 2 prefixes, and 2 suffixes. The prefixes are Dawgtagz, and Facepunch. The suffixes are 317 or nothing. The second one isn't much of a suffix, but whatever.

Anyways, I've been playing Warframe (Not actively) since just after U7 was released. I  completely missed u9, so it's a suprise how much has changed since then. I run a lvl 30 Rhino, with a lvl 30 Mag, on top of a maxed Paris with a rather appropriate companion of akboltos.

I also do Youtube from time to time, although I've been focusing on games like War Thunder, and Hawken recently.

Sadly, I can't upload because the software I use to compress (Handbrake) just whitescreens then crashes on me. So, until that's fixed no videos :c

  10. I fixed the crashing, it doesn't run in 64bit mode very well, but it still wont run with xFire working. My GPU is a GTX 660 Ti, my CPU is an i5-3570K.

  11. So, I record Warframe, and the software I used previously, Dxtory, decided to stop working. So I started using xFire. Except either it just crashes Warframe on starting-up, or it doesn't work in-game. This isn't in Support, because it isn't a problem with Warframe, its more likely a conflict. So, I'm asking anybody else who uses xFire what settings they're using. This is probably in the wrong section, but if anybody else knows where a better spot this'll be is, please share.

  12. Im fine with roller nerfs, I use a semi-auto pistol and a bow, so their kinda hard to knock out. I also don't have any AOE abilities aside that sword jump thing, but I use a Gram so its kind of slow...

  13. So, I solo'd Jackal as a level 13 warframe, and took a fair bit of time doing it. It made for an epic battle, but now, I can kill jackal in under 5 minutes. I'm kind of dissappointed here, so I suggest a slider or something for when you're soloing, you can multiply an enemies level by 2, 3, 4, and so on, so that even a level 30 warframe could be challenged.

  14. I'm also recording, but I'm recording myself soloing bosses with hardstyle or dubstyle playing in the background :)

Sadly, in under an hour my youtube thread was buried behind pages of other stuff
