  1. Honestly I'm totally cool with the Dev's throwing everyone a curveball and having it turn out that for the first few big 'chapters' of the Game's eventual story the Tenno are actually totally being used by some shady group to take out the competition and control the fate of humanity.

It isn't something impossible I suppose - one of the questions I find on my mind about the Tenno is pretty straightforward.

-The Tenno went to sleep, so why is Lotus randomly not asleep? How long have them been out? Are there Tenno sleeper agents waiting among the stars? Is she an AI tasked to awaken them at a specific time or for a specific reason?

DE could meta-troll the hell out of all of us if the did something wild like.

-Grineer Empire has a faction that is secretly waiting to oust the leaders of their Government and take over.

-They find the sleeping Tenno and don't report it.

-They have one of their agents assume the position of the Lotus - which the Tenno would recognize as someone to trust upon awakening. The real Lotus was found long ago by the Grineer Empire - she died bravely protect the secret of her people.

-The Fake Lotus, a rebel sleeper agent, is keeping the Tenno busy wrecking S#&$ across the galaxy. The targets you are taking out are the people the Rebels absolutely need out of the way. The Warrior Tenno are all loyal types and don't have any particular reason so suspect they are being led astray. A long time in cryosleep fogs the memories of even the seasoned warriors - the fact that this Lotus is not as they remember is lost to time.

-Lotus is constantly streaming information about the Tenno and the Warframes to the rebels using data gathered from missions.

-The create the first of their own Warframe soldiers - codenamed 'Stalker'.

-They are testing their Stalker agents by sending them to interrupt the Tenno - waiting until they can produce a Stalker variant strong enough to replace their need for the Tenno altogether.

-The Tenno are abandoned by the Rebels with the reveal and completion of their own brand of Warframe soldiers. A mixture of stolen Corpus cybernetic reasearch the Tenno recovered for them- Grineer cloning techniques stolen from their own people - and ancient Orokin weapons creating an endless stream of powerful soldiers.

    I'd love that.

    Wow that took some thinking.

  2. Well you start with no memory and some lady is telling you to kill stuff. you kill Greneeir because they seem kind of insanely bent on owning everything. you kill Corpus because they control all trade. You kill the Infestation because they are a deadly virus or parasite. It seems the one good thing you do is kill Greneeir and the infestation.

    *Disclaimer I may be wrong*

The Wiki explains stuff about the factions.

  3. Is there a way to implement during a mission, say on an infested level for a grineer assault team to invade the level as well? i think it would make for very entertaining action. Kind of like the "heads up" we get from lotus mid mission. A way for each faction to butt in on missions every now and then would be awesome!

That happened to me once I don't know why.
