  1. The vast majority of the complaining in this thread seems to be from people that have never tried to earn anything in their life. It's really sad to see tbh, because a proper team could easily get all of the required resources in about 2-3 hours. Get off your ass and experiment with other frames, instead of maining a braindead excal or inaros. You'd be surprised at how ridiculously easy things become once you start walking out of your tiny sword shaped box.

The Hek does that even mean?

Competitive games are based upon the concept of all players being on some form of equal ground, Solar Rails literally had no method of smaller clans being able to have any major impact on the relative stranglehold that large clans had on everything. The result of this was a collective of large clans controlling everything and abusing the ever-living bejeezus out of the systems.

The entire system was geard toward alliances, so if you're trying to fight by yourself without anyone to back you up you're going to lose regardless. Invictus and Coup de Grace held their own rails for the longest time before they took it down, both backed by their own alliance ICE.

I'd sooner remove my eyes with a rusty spork than see "One Clan Owns Everything the Game" return.

Just circumvent that by being better than them. That is the very essence of competetive play. If everyone else is S#&$ then you will have a situation like that.

So what you're actually saying is, "be better than lots of clans who are metagaming and perverting the entire system".

It's simple when you put it that way. /s

Because it is. This game isn't very hard to master.

Just because you guys prove that you can go 16 hours in a survial, which is impressive, doesnt mean every Tenno has or will do it. I know i dont have 16 hours to dedicate to one mission. So how many Tenno can say they've actually done it? As I've said, DE has said they don't want to promote super long runs, so I doubt they are going to change it for such a small group.

Just because DE has said so doesn't mean that people like us are going to want it any less. It is a real aspect of the game that was killed by the lack of leaderboard based events that clans actually strived to compete in. Now the only real incentive is a bland leaderboard that only a few of us look at, but implementing changes to fix the issues or even promote it could build the community even more and give the veterans something to go back on once they're finished with the newly released content.

Besides, don't phrase it that way. You're making it look like you want this conversation to end and don't contribute anything at all, intentional or not.

I don't quite know what you mean. We're not penalized for long endurance runs. We're still getting the same rotation rewards, but isn't part of the skill is to go as long as you can? So obviously it has to progressively get harder as time goes on.

Also, it's DE's game and they have gone on record saying they want Warframe to be played in chunks, and that while they don't mind players going as long as they can they don't want to encourage it cause that's not how they see that game mode.

Sorry to say but there is something very wrong with that. Doing these long runs in our own spare time for our own fun does penalize you as you're struck with a trade ban for going beyond a certain threshold for a solid 2 weeks. We've shown time and time again that we're capable of doing this with the tools we have available, so the fact that this is in place is rather undermining the entire concept of playing the game in our own way. Doing the game in those smaller chunks is also very boring, because anyone can go out there and do that.
