  1. You are mistaken

Its 25% armor reduction each time, and stacks infinately until the enemy has no more armor. It lasts forever too, no 6 second limit.

Corrosive is more damage to alloy armor mid-high enemies than radiation after about 6-7 procs. Assuming a non-radiation base weapon.

    Thanks for the help.

  2. Did it on my 2nd try after weeks of not playing Warframe. If you're struggling takes notes ummmm.. use a very slow Warframe and a rapid fire gun with a large mag size. The good news is if you do get lucky and finish the test you'll be at rank 9 and that test is much more enjoyable :D lol.

  3. I know you said Hysteria wont consider the element mod damage attached to the melee weapon with the same element but does that include the normal weapons with Impact, Puncture, and Slash mods? (Heavy Trauma, Sundering Strike, and Jagged Edge.)

Also, I know Hysteria works with the critical damage of melee weapons but does it work with critical chance as well or just use the 50% for both damage crits?

  4. Buying
    Capture Keys T3
    Fleeting Expertise
    Blind Rage
    Narrow Minded
[Not Maxed] - paying in plat

    Selling
Jagged Edge - Offer in plat or trade me Capture Keys
Hornet Strike [Rank 7] - Offer in plat or 2 of the above

  5. There's barely any difference between the single kama and dual kama. I'm not mad about the loss of the double V that can be fixed by polarizing. Although both kamas have the same total melee damage, 40 (dual having 6 more slash and less impact and puncture) this is also fine with me, the dual kama will benefit from the slash mod a tiny bit better...I guess 30ish with slash and damaging mods maxed (Pressure Point, Spoiled Strike, and Jagged Edge). Honestly I was hoping the the attack speed wouldn't be the same. I mean you're wielding two now.. shouldn't they be different in speed?

  6. I'm really excited about making the dual kama weapons, so for those who buy weapons with platinum I have some questions. I plan on using the dual kama for it's attack speed and I noticed on the codex the 1handed Kama has 1.3/sec and the dual kamas also have 1.3/sec which kind of confuses me. I know the attack animations are probably different but does that effect the dual kamas attack speed? Would it make them attack faster than 1.3/sec? If not, then I'm kind of bummed out.

  7. During the time I tested Shield Polarize after U9.8, Focus was affecting both the shield restore/drain percentage and the damage multiplier. Since then, I haven't recorded any damage numbers to verify whether the mechanics have changed.

If you want to check this yourself, take Mag to Venus, isolate 2 or 3 Moa, record each Moa's level, use Shield Polarize in their vicinity, and record the damage numbers that pop up. The Moa with drained shields is the one that was used as a radial damage source. I'll check for myself when I have the time, and we can compare results.

Shields are calculated using this formula:

    Base Shields + Base Shields x 0.01 x (Enemy Level - Minimum Level)^1.4

So for a level 10 Moa, that's 121.7 shields. With Focus equipped, radial damage around the Moa is equal to:

    121.7 x 0.5 x 2.5 x (1.3)^2  257

Since Shield Polarize can deal headshots (2x damage is not applied to shields), you could see as high as 514 damage dealt around a level 10 Moa assuming Shield Polarize's damage formula is the same as it was when U9.8 was released.

Thanks for the reply this was helpful, I'll do some tests soon.

  8. power strenght increase both shield drain and damage

i mean, scale exponentially up to 100% shield drain and 572.5% damage based on highest shield drained (I mean, does not have the ripple effect of the Molecular Prime, it is only hit once ... was what I understood from the wiki)

Have you tested that the power strength mods increases the drained shields to 100%? I'm thankful for the reply but I'll need a better answer, it seems like you're making assumptions based off from the wiki. I hope you know the wiki can be edited by any person which means false information can be posted by accident. Never in my post did I mention Nova or her abilities.

Try out polarize on a group of corpus, everything dies. And when i say everything, i mean everything.

I don't think you read my post?

  9. Ability: Shield Polarize

Max: Restore and depletes ally units and enemy shields by 50% Then damages surrounding enemies of the depleted targets shield. (50% of depleted shield + 250% increased dmg)

On the Warframe Wiki it said the following..

Maximized Power Strength increases the amount of shields drained/restored to 114.5% which caps out at 100%. Increases the damage ratio of shields drained to 572.5%."

    Focus Max: 30% Power Increase

    Blind Rage Max: 99%

    Shield Restore/Deplete: 50% + (30% + 99%) = 114.5% (100%)

    Shield surrounding Damage: 250% + (30% + 99%) = 572.5%

If this were the case then depleting an enemies shield of 1000 to 0% that means I've taken 1000 shield, and so the surrounding units take 1000 + 572.5% which equals to... 5725 damage??

When I read this it didn't seem right. The way I calculated the mod power increase was...

    1000 Shield - 50% deplete = 500 shield taken + 250% = 1250 damage to surrounding units.

    1250 + 30% Focus Max = 1625 surrounding damage.

    1250 + (30% + 99% Blinding Rage Max) = 2862.5 surrounding damage.

    Is my calculations correct?

    tl;dr?

Is Shield Polarize effected by Power Strength, If so how?
