People who have not completed the star chart are reporting that running the training is not clearing the condition, though, and they're stuck with "Learn how to perform Synthesis" as still in place...

I redid the objective and it seemed to clear things up, so at least for me the problem went away, though I do believe I went through the synthesis tutorial beforehand, so this would be me doing it a second time. I wonder if doing it as part of the new strange doesn't count somehow? even if it's the same tutorial, it might be treated differently.

I also have only just come back to warframe after a few months of not being on, and I did the tutorial during the time I played before now, so that might have triggered it.

This makes me ask, what "tutorial" exactly did you do, where, how?

Are you talking about his Quest, The New Strange, maybe? Because that's not it.

You need to talk to Simaris, and in his options there is one that starts a simulated mission. Finish that.

ah! that must be it. yeah, I did the New Strange and got the special scanners and did all that stuff, so I probably just assumed that was the place where you learn how to do synthesis.

 

as for the assassination mission comment, it's because I'm talking about a relay, which is completed by killing a specter, so it's technically an assassination mission.

I'm on Saturn and trying to make my way to Uranus, but it's insisting that I have to learn how to learn how to perform synthesis despite me having already went through the tutorial of synthesizing enemies into Simaris's collection.

(I guess this counts as an assassination mission?)
