Update: I was able to complete Earth Extraction - the waypoints actually showed up allowing me to complete. I did not, however, complete the next chain - the third location extraction is not showing up. Unsure if there was a hotfix for earth implemented or not... but now the next may cause issues for anyone progressing.

Confirm as well - spent the last 6 or 7 runs trying to find extractors, nada.

Yep... happens frequently.
Remedy: No jumping aeo attack on elevator. It seems to have worked for me.

So what the hell is up with the Host Migration after all. Had to host migrate to myself... which did not result into kicking me out. Then upon finishing the mission "Data did not save" and "You will be removed from the server"? Excuse me? Come again? What the hell just happened?
If there was a host migration, shouldn't the data be transferred?

Totally agree with this, some of us are not so fortunate enough to have decent upload speeds. -_-;
Not that there is anything wrong with not having high upload speeds. Just those of us who do have high speed, its like going back to 56K dial up when you can't host.

I belive if you start the room and click the location first, its you who hosts. I lag my friends sometimes and vice versa and this seems to work so we can pick our host. If this is true then always load the planet and enter the game straight away. Wait for others to join you and start.
The problem here being that you do not always have the option to host because you never get the "Play Now" option.
I've stopped doing anything other than Solo/Private as a result of this. I am pretty sure this game's host selection process involves selecting the player who lives the closest to Pluto.
I myself, have resorted to this tactic. I have friends that play and its myself and one other who perma-host.

Whole-heartedly agree with this. Tired of getting people hosting matches who should never have that kind of responsibility on their connection. I like you have high speed internet and try to host as often as possible to avoid others into such atrocities that are bad connections.

Posted this earlier this afternoon but seems my thread magically disappeared. Here to support the cause. I would even go a step further and allow a community to be able to vote someone out of hosting "online" games.

Had 3 back to back matches, all with horrendous lag issues.
Is there a method which allows you to always host when playing online games? I have noticed the mission button changing to "Play Now" but many times I do not have the option to do so - especially if there is an immediate spot available with a lag filled host - or even with alerts never having an option to do so ever, including waiting for a squad.
If this is not possible, please implement some vote mechanic which prohibits certain players to ever host a game for the sake of all sane players. Simple as clicking "do not allow hosting" at any time during the match and the world will be a happier place.

Thank you for giving me hope - it truly is an intermittent bug. Was able to complete the chain by entering/exiting the mission at least 8 or 9 times until a way-point popped up. SUCCESS! Overall time spent was very minimal spent for those seeking to complete the mission chain before the hotfix rolls out.
