  1. lol, i love this principle :P

    thats totally something i would do if magic really existed :P

     

    i'd like to see more characters like that in fantasy, that got such a thorought understanding of magic that they can achieve whatever they want or copy other's spells not because he got some duper ability, but because he fully understand the underlying mechanics :P

  2. sorry but a fully flying warframe would basicly break the whole point of moving, covers, obstacles, parkour and whatnot. it would really be OP.

    Especially when DE plans on doing parkour 2.0

     

    As far as flying goes, zephyr is already the official "birdy" frame and in that regard, it fullfils the whole "flying" gimmic pretty well. is not literal flying but within whats acceptable for a game like warframe, i feel it does the job

  3. What does that have to do with Wiping?

     

    i think he didint get the whole wipe ability and is trying to say it would make people play nyx and use absorb to survive the wipe.

    But that would imply the person dosent understand the underlying mechanics/reason for a wipe ability

  4. Imma say it depends a lot on player preference, i love the tiberon and ive used it so much, i got everything down to perfection from snap headshots, spreading the burst over an area and knowing when my clip's empty and i need to take cover.

     

    I WILL admit the tiberon is a pretty damn good gun by itself :P

  5. No. I've killed Grineer in front of their buddies silently from far away with a bow or so, and they just keep walking over their dead buddies like nothing happened.

    i did an entire extermination where spawn had bugged and all enemies were in the same room, silently killing all of them.

    at any time, a good half-dozen grineer could see one of theire buddy get headshot and die.

     

    *falls to the ground*

    "oh hey, rick, look, something happened to bob, he seems to have an arrow stuck in his head ?"

    "nah, nevermind him, joe. he's just playing dead again, he'll get back up later"

  6. funny, personally i get attacked so rarely i oftentime forget about syndicates or assassins altogether.

    Really, today was the first time i was attacked by stalker and new loka in so long i had forgotten about them. new loka got theire butt kicked and stalker didint get mugged cause something glitched out and i insta-died in a wall :P

     

    here's a tip, always keep one maxed weapon with you and make yourself a little survival kit. nowadays i always keep 3 restores of each type on me

  7. What I am about to say -does not defend- Limbo in any way.

     

    ... How about -not using- the Rift Plane when they're in the same room...? They won't become invincible, right? After all, they're on a different plane. It would be perfectly natural for weapons on a different plane not affecting the enemy (or enemies) that are actually on a different plane.

     

    Also, why shouldn't their shields blocking ordnance thrown at them? With each touch, their nullifying shields shrink. Instead of relying on Limbo to do the job you and/or your team can't do (which is to damage the Nullifiers, go figure), how about you and/or your team members prioritize them as the most dangerous and shoot their shields with rapid fire weapons? Even IF the weapon does 1 damage or 10000000, the shot still gets blocked, so the more shots hit their shields, the faster will they drop... Even if there are multiple Nullifiers.

     

    ... Also, enemies like to think the Nullifiers are like an Eximus enemy. They grow a large sack when a Nullifier appears, but scatter around quickly when the Nullifiers are dead.

     

    ... so, Limbo, stop putting the Nullifiers into the Rift and everything is fine. Grow a sack bigger than the enemies that go "escort" a Nullifier and shoot them dead quickly instead of making them invincible with stupid tactics...

     

    ... And yes, because of such a stupid tactic, you ended up triggering a bug that I think isn't a bug but -almost- working as intended, minus the invulnerability part AFTER the effect of the ability ends...

     

    You completly and utterly missed the point ive been making.

    I never once mentionned people relied on limbo in the group to do anything, i never once said we were specifically putting them in the riftplane (we never willingly did) and the occurence always happened when they were nowhere to be seem, using cataclysm seemed like a good idea and then they spawned and came in.

     

    Its easy to say now that cataclysm can be toggled, but before that it was a major problem. it still is in a way

    Make no sense... O.o

     

    sniper ammo and launcher ammo are the same in practice. so since castanas are high-explosives, its just like the angstrum, it uses sniper ammo.

     

    On another note, im happy to know im not the only one having this problem.

    I did a test with a friend and i saw his castanas all #*($%%@ up along with mine, but he saw both mine and his perfectly okay.

    its really weird...

  9. So yeah, ive been seeing this odd problem for a moment now.

    Sometime im not at maximum ammo (sometime im downrigh broke on ammo) yet im not picking up the ammox boxes !

    I did a run in the void with the miter today and even when i hitted zero, it wasent picking up the sniper ammo boxes.

    the problem has happened with certain of my guns like the amprex and the soma too.

  10. So i just got my sancti castanas, and as you will see in the following screenshot, the one in the pouches are fine, but the one im holding in my hands actually look messed up.

    I went on earth to try them on solo and when i paused, valkyr lifted up her hand and you could see the castanas texture correctly.

    Launched castanas flying in the air or sticking to surface looks fine too.

    Little detail you can see in the screen shot, this color mess actually moves and keeps spinning and twisting.

    so far ive gotten one part for both the centaur AND fluctus on jupiter (sabotage), aegis and barrel respectively.

    Been doing that very mission for a few hours but now im only getting either nothing at all or rathbone handle, so i cant tell if the other half of centaur/fluctus also drop there

  12. Wait. What if you jumped OUT of Cataclysm and keep shooting him?

     

    absolutely nothing, still dosent do anything. it seems as long as nullifier is in the rift plane, he's absolutely invincible

    actually, even more reason to demand that DE fix Limbo, there has been no word on fixing Cataclysm and several patches have gone out...

     

    additionally Nullifiers shield should NOT be invul to weapons AND abilities, the shields should be more vulnerable to gunfire and thrown melee =/

     

    I agree. nullifiers right now nullifies everything. the shield should only block power use, not weapon too.

    High level voids have become amazingly annoying when more than a single nullifier is around at the same time. When they start overlapping shield, you basicly need quadruple the firepower because you must get rid of all of them at the same time

    i got centaur aegis and fluctus barrel from jupiter but i dont know if theyre split between missions like the decurions or if theyre in the same mission like every other archwing weps

  14. So since nullifiers came out, ive always wondered what would happen if they were to step into limbo's cataclysm.

     

    Doing a T4 survival with my clan, with had the unpleasant surprise of discovering the answer : They become invincible.

    In a strange twist of events, the nullifiers shield cancels out cataclysm completly making them stay in the material plane unlike other enemies, and this seems to make theire shield also stay in the material plane. Or something like that.

     

    End result is : a nullifier with his shield on walking withing a cataclysm bubble becomes invincible. We kept shooting at his shield but nothing happened.

     

    And given how theire bubble shield work, it made every enemy around them invincible too.

     

    Lets just say it was NOT a fun game.

  15. Bruh, bruh, I need you to open your mod panel, and tell me if you have something called energy channel slotted. Because this is what that mod does. You cast an ability, the weapon glows to display it has stored energy and bonus damage available, if you hit an enemy the glow will stop.

  16. Its somewhat a given that the idea itself needs polishing, but if this idea has any ground to it, im sure that wouldnt be the hardest part.
    Which unit you play as per example could be decided by points. lancers and crewman/moa would cost 0 and you'd get say, 100 point for a kill and 50 for an assit and playing as a shockwave moa would cost 250 points or something

     

    this could work but it would be hard to put lore arond it.

    Not that has stopped DE from putting certain things in game but i can easily come up with something.
    Maybe were tasked by the lotus to study faction tactics by fighting as them in a simulation.

    "know thy enemy and you shall be victorius" ;)

    I don't see a point to this.

    Variety ? plain fun ? I dont want to be insulting but you lack imagination if you dont see a point in this.

     

    So... Star Wars Battlefront but instead of droids vs wookies its Grineer VS Corpus. Sounds interesting to be honest.

  17. I will start by apologizing if this is the wrong place for this, i searched and searched and didint see a proper forum for suggestions.

     

    Now my idea here is a bit out there and some may not find it that great, but i personally think it could be loads of fun.

     

    So you have a faction war versus grineer and corpus that players can join. support grineer and corpus. old news right ?

    Here's where it gets interesting.

    You dont fight as a tenno, everytime you spawn, you choose a unit of your chosen side to fight as ! with all the equipment and abilities they would normally have.

     

    Say i pick corpus, at spawn, i choose to fight as a shockwave MOA ! i enter de map, i got my fast firing plasma gun and my #1 ability is shockwave !

     

    The mode could have many interesting details, the players could be unindentifiable from normal units for added mystery (was that corpus tech you just killed a player or not ? you'll never know)

     

    Or the players could always play as eximi, giving them more abilities and more survivability to make things last longer.

     

    The game mode would only have to be balanced accordingly to how tough the players are (normal vs eximus).

     

    Game mode proper could either be random tileset and any mission types where instead of tenno vs faction its just faction vs faction.

     

    Overall, i feel like this could be a pretty funky idea to play as the guys we mass murder everyday.

    To go into battle as, say, a corpus tech along 4~8 other players and accompagnying npcs would be rly fun in my opinion.

     

    Of course im aware this would completly set aside the equipment we all work on so hard everytime we play but im sure there would be ways to add enough novelty and reward in the idea to make it worth it.

     

    What do you readers think of it ?

  18. So ive been seeing this bug happens quite often and it seems to come and go frequently even in a single mission.

    I cant tell what particular things ive done before it appear/disapear since the game gets so frantic.

     

    I do got some screenshot of it however

    So far, ive seen the problem happen on my nikana, orthos, orthos prime and jat kittag.

    I also have the hate and the magistar but i dont recall seeing the problem on them.

    My glaive and obex, by theire small stature, makes it impossible for me to tell wether the bug happened or not.

     

    Hope this gets solved, its a minor graphical bug but still kinda annoying when youre like em and just love how a weapon looks like. Having an ugly neon green sore in my face gets annoying quickly.

     

    hope this is an easy fix
